0-5 points:non gamer, you've experiemented with games but you generally don't really care.

6-11 points:Occasional gamer.  You play sometimes but generally you don't consider games an important part of your life.

12-16 points:Casual gamer.  You enjoy relaxing with a good game but aren't too serious about it and probably avoid achievements, completion runs, and hard difficulties.

17-26:Gamer.  Games are an important past time to you that take up much of your time and income but you still have other hobbies you enjoy just as much if not more.

26-31:Hardcore gamer.  Games are more important to you than anything else, they are your heroin and you could not imagine living without them.  Even when you're not playing them you're likely thinking about them close to all the time.  Your fantasy is likely to have all your time spent just playing them.

32-35:Insane.  The people in the white coats are here to help you, please do not resist them.

I got 11 (Occasional Gamer), but reading the descriptions, I'd put myself in the 17-26 (Gamer) category.

Well I got a 8, I think I'm more toward the gamer catagory, I just have hardly any 100% finished XBL lists (one in fact) yet my gamer score is like 28k.

I got 15 but consider myself a Hardcore PC gamer. All games I like have over 90hrs each invested. Your ranking system sucks and reeks of right wing Christian/republican propaganda. King Kale is King Fail. Get out.

That's about right. I stopped prioritizing gaming years ago. I tend to shoot straight for the hardest difficulty, though. My perfectionism forces me to check out every nook and cranny of most games too.

Some of your criteria are nonsensical, though. Why would $5 or less Steam sales not count? You are still legally acquiring the full game. Point distribution is also arguable. Several of those one point questions should be worth more in my opinion.

Dr Mr or Ms Lobe, what you have just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Because if you wait for a game to be really cheap then that means you're not as dedicated as a hardcore gamer who if he desired a game would buy it new when it is full price.  A hardcore gamer actually sacrifices something to enjoy his hobby.  Pirating a game and then waiting until it's 2 dollars on steam to buy it is not a sacrifice.

I see.. Steam aside, I couldn't point out every game I bought brand new if I tried.  :P

I ranked as "occasional gamer" but I feel that spiritually, I am in the "gamer" category. Or so I tell myself. -_-
