What happends if I save a game before I unlock something (say bloodmage/reaver/duelist or whatever) and then make sure I ulock the thing. Will it be unlocked even though I load the savegame before I unlocked it?

anyone understand what I mean?

Yes, it stays unlocked.

Yeah, I've considered doing that. None of my characters are big enough douchebags to unlock Reaver. It's also possible to do that with books-save just before buying the book that gets you the specialization, buy it, reload. Planning on doing that for shapeshifter since Morrigan is bugged (100 friendship and she won't teach it. Grrrr.)

I think she only teaches it if you're a mage as well. I tried it before and she did teach me but when my S/S warrior asked she denies it.

Morrigan does actually tell you that she can only teach shapeshifting to a mage...

Morrigan taught it to my Warrior.

You just have to be in a certain narrow range of loyalty. Around 20ish.
