It doesn't seem right for a re-release (Ocarina of Time) to be on the list. I want to vote for the greatest game ever but it probably already has its share of "game of the year" awards.

Fable 3 and Fallout: New Vegas made the list? LOL Those games were bug feasts.

Only played Dragon Age 2, so I voted for that. If Dragon Age 2 beats Witcher 2 and New Vegas by one vote, please do come back to me and I'll gladly relish in the fact that I prevented New Vegas (couldn't care if W2 won) from getting a GOTY that it doesn't deserve. What a bug feast. I know they eat bugs in China and in some places in America but where I come from, we hate bugs. Ignoring the bugs and it had one of the worst combat systems in a shooter RPG. The only guys who make games nearly as bugged are Bethesda and their games still are nowhere near as bugged as Obsidian Games.

Ever heard of Troika Games? Yeah, they formed into Obsidian and made some of the worst bugged games as Troika. I still remember Arcanum...*shivers* It had a game killing bug for the second quest that was never even fixed. The combat system was even worst than Morrowind's combat and...nah, I'm not reliving this nightmare again. Suffice to say, New Vegas shall not get my vote.

Anyway, crap list though. Where's Dark Souls and Deus Ex?

Get voting for the RPG of the year and be sure to vote Dragon Age 2 because the game is... because... because Dragon Age 2 is... it's...

It's got the colour red on the front cover! And... it's... *heart-aches* it's... *Votes for Witcher 2*

no way; DA2 was trash. why vote DA2 as game of the year when its so obvious that it is inferior to elder scrolls 5 in every way??

Everyone knows my hatred for TES extends to Heaven itself but I'm sure most would agree that Bethesda never creates awesome stories and/or characters and while Dragon Age 2 may have failed in many departments, I found that the story and characters were still interesting which is more than I can say for any story or/and character from a TES game.

In any case, TES isn't there for you to vote. Deus Ex isn't there. Dark Souls isn't there. The only other RPG worth comparing is Witcher 2 which those who have no powerful gaming PC probably haven't played. So that's why I voted for DA2 to be RPG of the year. So long as New Vegas doesn't make RPG of the year. I'm happy.

Oh and I hate Lionhead and Fable more than Bethesda, TES and Obsidian. Fable 3 doesn't even deserve to be in that list.

Thats a tough one though, between The WItcher 2 and New Vegas. But DA2 doesn't even register compared to TW2 or NV.

Would it be okay for me to say I love you? Because you're deserving of it. Pokemon's the best.

...is not a true RPG.

It's a shooter with skills and stats. I am tired of Bethesda  labeling their trash as RPG and everyone believing it.

Hey guys, Warcraft 3 is an RPG - it has levels, skills and stats! LOL!!!

It's not that I don't like DA2, I love the game. But the thing is that New Vegas is just better, sad but true.

New Vegas is a damned fine RPG. If you wanted to argue that Fallout 3 wasn't an RPG I might be more inclined to agree with you because of it's over dependence on combat, but with New Vegas?

That game's biggest strength was the many, many ways to complete your objectives. Prefer stealth? Sneak past the guards. Scientist? Hack the security turrets. Got a silver tongue? Talk your way out. Still prefer to blow **** up? Please do.

And my god If I felt like shooting everyone in sight, I could get away with it and still complete the game somehow. There is a wide array of how to play the game and spending close to 8 hours or more on each dlc really extends the gameplay, and even at the end of Lonesome Road depending on how you go about it, it carries over into the main game and unlock 1-2 new areas with high risk and high rewards.

This. The beauty of New Vegas was the choice factor, I have played through that game at least 8 times. No two characters played the same way.

One problem I have with both DA: O and DA2 is that a lot of the fights/quests played out the same way. I never really had such a problem in New Vegas, except maybe between my laser specialist and my guns specialist. But even those had their differences.

The game gets widely better with mods, just like DA2 on the pc with mods further enhanced its replay value with me, despite me loving it already.

Please don't bring up mods. It makes me and fellow console players cry.

It certainly has more RPG features then DA2.

I can make choices that impact gameplay. I define my character. Sounds very RPG'ish to me.

It's really a shame it was that buggy ...
