 Hi to everyone. I' m playing NWN 2 from two weeks and I' m really enjoying the game. I arrived till the point that I' m going to describe you without encountering any type of bug or glitch. After entering in Newerwinter to start the process in act 2, i found that Khelgar is missing from the game, meaning that he wasn' t either in the party or at the Inn. Anyone knows how to bring him back? The second problem occures when I go to the Tyr Temple and talk to Halm. He says to me that i should wait till the next morning and that I should be alone. I send away my party members and he then says follow me. After these words nothing happens, and I can' t continue the quest. Someone can help me?

To bring Khelgar back ( this might work ) :

while controlling mainPC ( w/ no target ) preferably inside the Flagon Inn.


Hlam *might* fix himself once Khelgar is back in the game. If not, here's an extremely crude workaround ( you can't pick a Champion and must fight Lorne yourself if going that route ) - otherwise, it might be possible to get the church cutscene working okay ...

The Khelgar comand doesn't work, maybe I do something wrong, I don' t know. I write it in the chat in the same way but nothing happens. Maybe I should write it in another way?

Are ya familiar with using the console, the translucent screen that drops down when you hit the tilde key? After entering DebugMode and the command itself, it should give back a message like

Invalid command
unsuccessful execution
successful execution

if the first comes up ( invalid ) try replacing 'rs' with 'RunScript' or 'runscript'.

ya guys i have same issues i think this game is glitching because of its age or something, every year i try to re download it, and everything goes fine till then end, it gives me an issue screen saying that i have a missing file i run the game fine till around Act 2, where my companions start getting frozen in places or they don't talk when needed, so i basically play the game alone......Can anybody help iv'e had to play the game like 4-5 times in the last couple years till the same point in the story, it sucks i really enjoy the game and i want to finish it.......

what you're really looking for is a clean, careful install ( CClean & defrag ) with *no error messages* first ...


if ya can't get that with your discs (?) .. Steam might be worth a shot
