Has anyone seen portraits of the Bioware standard doors? Basically everything in the doortypes.2da file. I've got portraits for around a dozen doors. Before I numb my brain to bits by making the "missing" ones, I'm hoping someone knows of an existing hak somewhere with them already done. Anyone? Pretty please?

By default, all doors in NWN uses only single portrait of the wooden one. The portrait itself is not set up in 2da but rather in blueprint. Its name is po_door01_m/s/t.tga.
I wanted to make a special portrait for each for my patch project however Im wasnt able to do it myself and noone was willing to help me with that. So you do will help me?

Heya ShaDoOoW,
Yeah, given that the door portrait thing tends to annoy me, I'll be making at least SOME portraits. I already have ones for the most common say 10 or so. Give me a few minutes and I'll take screenies of the ones I have. How many more I make will depend on how boring it gets. My doors 2da file has 200 some doors in it. *grunts*
Sure, if there is an interest in them other than my neurotic self *grins* I'll be happy to pack them up separate versus just part of a huge portrait hak. What is your project timeline?

Door 4 through 8 I'm pretty sure came from the Vault somewhere. Just adjusted them last night so they show as right side up in the toolset. 13, 28 and 36 I made. 28 and 36 many many years ago thus the stupid background. Wow was I CC clueless back then! The rest... no idea where they came from. Could have been the Vault or I could have made them at some point.

They all looks like standard to me. But most are tileset door based, that why you wont find them in toolset. I will be able to plug-it into default blueprints so if you send me portraits, I send you bleprints.

I've got blueprints that I use for most doors. They have the re-lock and re-close scripts attached and either the correct portrait or an all black one. I can zap you out the portait files once they are done and you can merge that into your own content? I've only been making the 3 smallest sizes (m, s, and t).

In case anyone else wants them, here are all the Standard Doors in v1a of our portrait hak. All the ones from the screenie above except 55 which is hak based. Tga files only, no 2da file. Sizes m, s and t.

Thank you for your continued efforts with this.
I am like you, one of those folks that hates not having a proper portrait to reflect what I am working with.

*grins at Bannor* Yup. Drove me (okay still driving me) bonkers when Bioware changed something a while back and suddenly all my doors had the wrong portrait. REALLY?! GAH!!! Sounds like I can just change the blueprint that ShaDoOoW mentions above. Set that to the all black portrait and that will at least fix the ones that have slipped through the cracks.
Anyways, I got the first batch of "generic" doors done this morning. The 7 dwc_gen ones. Screenie of those added to the project gallery. I should have the tn_gdoor 1-8 done as well today.
I've had no luck tracking down where the heck I got the original generic portraits from. Harmphs.

The generic doors (genericdoors.2da) are all done. The only ones I didn't make are T_Door11 and tn_gdoor_08. NWN Explorer doesn't show anything when I load those 2 models. Went ahead and redid the generic doors I already had portraits for since I have no idea where that content originally came from. It also let me square up a few of the portraits (like #45 in the first screenie).

I already injected some portraits into default door blueprints but that didnt changed their portrait automatically as I suspected :/
guess its saved somewhere inside .git or .gic files

This first batch of generic door portraits is making its way to the Vault. I've included 3 versions of the portrait 2da file. Bioware 1.69, Project Q v1.4 and CEP v2.4. By default the hak file has the Bioware one in it.
Next up are the tileset specific doors. This set will take me a bit longer as there are quite a few doors.

The link is valid now, and has already had multiple downloads...
Thank you Lass, this should prove somewhat useful to nit-picky builders like me...

*grunts* Okay I think I have all the tileset doors done. I used the doortypes 2da file to generate a list of models. Some doors are ... null? The model just looks blank to me when I open it in NWN Explorer. So obviously I skipped those. Some doors are duplicated across tilesets, I only did one portrait per door appearance, so no duplicates. If I missed any, let me know. These are only for the tilesets that come standard with 1.69.
The portrait names are based on the first unique appearance I found. Example: The door on row 1 of the 2da file is for the rural tileset and has model name TTR_UDoor_01. Its cooresponding portrait name is po_ttr_udoor01_X. I had to take out the _ between udoor and 01 to keep the file name at the 16 character max limit.
I don't have the portrait 2da file done yet. Might get to that today depending on how long hubby sleeps. I'll try to get these posted to the Vault before heading on vacation next week but no promises.
The screenies are sorted roughly by material type.

*hugs Bannor*
Thank the NFL that I had time to get these finished this weekend while hubby was parked infront of the TV. The files are on their way to the Vault. Hopefully it will post through tomorrow.
Now what the heck was I working on before getting distracted by doors? *looking about the various piles of paper on my desk* Hmmm... so many choices.
