ARE Teagan and Isolde actually having an affair? They're always together! In Redcliffe, she's all "TEAGANNNNNNNNNNNNNNN" through the whole level, and she was with him at Chateau Haine! How are these noblepeople not gossiping about them?

The guests that were invited were friends of the Montfort family. Logic dictates that Isolde is a friend of the Montfort family and asked Teagan to come along.

It's actually entirely possible Arl Eamon asked Teagan to go in his place to represent Ferelden's interests, since he also accompanied King Alistair. He does do some traveling in the Free Marches, so he might be more familiar with the area than Arl Eamon.

I feel sorry for Teagan.
