And it seems Alistair go for his mother, Fiona.
That would be excellent.

Out of interest, is something like that considered even a vague possibility by you guys? Because yeah, it'd be lovely.David Gaider wrote...
While I'd love to do a DLC like Leliana's Song based around Alistair (..)
I would buy it. Another favorite character. Sadly I like these two more than Hawke.

That aside, looking forward to this. Gaider's great and Freed's proven himself with the TOR-era comics.

Might as well get over the whole establishing canon thing. BW did not promise us the level of freedom in DA that they did in ME. Some canon gets established so they can tell the story they're trying to tell.

I am so tired of her in game and gave her Arishok.
Really, I will read only because of Varric and Alistair, I can't see this wh*re again. may be mr Gaider's talent create her more intesting than "SEXSEXSEX".
I love how Varric looks- little lion. And Alistair too. He looks like king.

Gah I wish we knew if Alistair was a King or Warden in the comic, that would ease my worry. If he's a GW with the DR as canon then that's fine, I have a playthrough to match that. But if he's a king and the DR is canon in the comic then I don't have a playthrough to match it D: I wish I finished more complete playthroughs of DAO and DA2. I think I'll work on it so I can have multiple stories with one of them matching up with Biowares universe.
It would make more sense if Alistair was a Grey Warden, since he should be governing Ferelden as a King otherwise.

I agree with your comment regarding Isabela. They went over the top with Isabela. She catch
VD in my play through and all she does is talk about sex. She’s not that funny. I guess she is in the comic for an easy lay and she has a boat.

I guess this is difficult for a few people to wrap their heads around?
There are people here who get annoyed that Fenris and Isabela hook up in other people's games.
I think people are simply wary. I think it has more to do with people being concerned their choices are going to be being disregarded, after what happened with the rectons/handwaving in Awakening and Dragon Age 2.

But still that does not detract from the abo****e immaturity that is shown by some fans. There are choices in an RPG, and DA:O gives us many. How on Earth is David Gaider going to write something that involves important characters without colliding with other Origin stories. Or do people have some fixed obsession about their playthrough being the absolute perfect one, and will not accept that Bioware expand their universe via novels because their Alistair is dead and has his head stuck on a pike.
This is called 'canon' by David Gaider. But to me, it's just an oppurtunity to explore Antiva and learn some more about Thedas. As far as I'm concerned... this didn't happen. Is it that hard to be open minded about it?

We actually do know. The question was answered on twitter. From what I've been told, Alistair is the king.

I'm absolutely baffled by the kerfuffle about this. I'm just happy to have more story, and this is a group that would be very interesting together. Of course the writers have a version that they consider 'canon.' How else would they write the story? By stoping the flow at every juncture to consider all the alternate possibilities and writing those down, too? They'd never get past the third event before drowning in a quicksand of exponential possibilities. It's a lot more likely that they come up with one version and then look for places that alternate choices would divide it. It doesn't matter in the least if that version is the one I went with.simfamSP wrote...

Hmm...Now that I think on it, it would actually be a good thing if my female Cousland wasn't canon and the Warden was a guy. It might mean that another character could romance Alistair all over again. I wouldn't mind that one bit.

Sadly, it'd probably be Eamon holding the reigns.
I would imagine that would be true if Alistair's personality isn't hardened, and he isn't married to Queen Anora. If Alistair's personality is hardened and he is wed to Queen Anora (with Loghain being spared), then Arl Eamon returns to Redcliffe. My Surana Warden spared Loghain, and this is what happened. It makes sense, since it's mentioned that there's little need of The Warden as Chancellor if King Alistair is married to Queen Anora with a hardened personality because the two rulers are effectively governing the nation.
