No, it's more like Isabela didn't stick with Hawke in David Gaider's game.
That's how I look at these expanded-media things anyway.
For example as far as I'm concerned? I don't know The Illusive Man's past and I don't care to know. Why? I ignore the comic. It's really easy to do. Watch.

See it's gone.
UGH, Those Mass Effect books and comics. We get it, Cerberus is no longer a group of well-intended extremists and are now just mustache twirling villains. Thanks for that "development."
About this comic. Good cast. But I can't even begin to understand why Varric's on this quest. Isabela? She goes wherever the fun goes.

Edit: As in that every dragon is like Flemeth. Or something akin to her.

What about the 3 year jumps between Acts in DA2? This could've happened at some point then...

That ship has sailed. Dragons can't talk (without shapeshifting, at least) and don't do scheming as far as we know. It doesn't mean that they're just animals and nothing else, though. There's definitely something special about their blood.Herr Uhl wrote...
If the dragon thing is that they're DnD dragons I'd be sad.

It's no secret that dragons are Cthulhu in Dragon Age. Just like machines are Cthulhu in Mass Effect.
Old Gods? Insane Cults? Please Bioware, stop beating me on the head with this. It hurts.

Again, perfect for Isabela since she apparently disappeared between Act 2 and Act 3. (And Aveline got married in Orlais.) But I don't think Varric ever left Kirkwall during the game that we played. There is I think 3 years between the end of Act 3 and the Cassandra interrogation.

Actually, the only thing Lovecraftian about the Reapers is their indoctrination. The most Lovecraftian thing of those games so far is the Thorian.
Dragon Blood turns people into Reavers, but blood in this setting seems to power all kinds of things. And they're clearly intelligent (side with Korgrim and the High Dragon lets you pass and doesn't mindlessly attack Kolgrim). And Old Gods seem to be dragons.
I don't know what their secret history is. Despite being a setting for two games and multiple DLC and books... I just don't know how high fantasy they're going to go with this stuff.

As much as I care about the environment, I totally want my BioWare stories in dead tree format. I've got all the books in this form, not to mention neat boxes for my games. Did the digital versions of the ME comics really outsell the physical copies so badly this was considered good business practice? =\\
I mean I'll suck it up if that's the way it's gonna be - the market has spoken - I'll just be sad, don my emo-hipster glasses and cry myself a river that "the others" just don't understand! x)

Instead of a comic, why not fix a cartain bug about an antivan.
Meh this is a pass for me, I dont like E-books or e-comics.

Zevran was about the least popular companion (sadly). Plus probably the most frequently killed. Having him be there will make even more retcon-criers shake their torches and pitchforks than Alistair being alive, not to mention all the people who got hot under the collar when saying 'yes' to an erotic massage with a happy ending actually led to that.
Not that I'm disagreeing that Zevran would make it even more awesome, mind you. I'm hoping he does make an appearance, and that marketing have simply neglected to mention him so that the anti-Zev brigade gets ninja'd again.

If they sat down going through all of the codex one by one they could have unlimited DLC and game concepts that would fulfill the constant questions buzzing in our heads, really make the game exceptional and give us continual new content to play.
My only issue with the comics, books, mini-series is that I do not want to have to go outside of this spectacular game to find this information. I want to be included in the story. Give me the opportunity to play my existing characters, give me the opportunity to play new characters within this content (that already exists) development. Focus on putting it in the game and you will make the majority of your existing fans happy and new fans will be drawn to a game that does something no other game does currently. Which is pretty much what brought BW fame to begin with.

There was alot of chocies in DAO and DAO gave a fantastic illusion but in the end, choices ment nothing since it always ended in the same outcome. Archdemon dies. Let's compare this to say TW2 which choices do have a meanning, There is so many outcomes it's not even funny.jlb524 wrote...

The choices were what made DAO great.
Those choices had no real effect on the ending, though.
It's not as if the Warden failed to stop the Blight b/c s/he decided to pass up on the golem army, for instance.
The witcher doesnt have as much choice either. The end is always the same: Radovid is in a strong position to unite the northen kingdoms and the niflgaardian empire always invade. Chapter 2 however is amazing.

In Mass Effect Retribution, Drew's Shepard spared the base. The entire book is based on the presis that Shepard spared the Collector Base. Did people complain about that?

Zevron is a good kid and Morrigan is as intelligent as she is beautiful.

IIRC there's no mention of whether Shepard saved the Collector base. Instead, Cerberus was able to retrieve technology irrelevant of the decision. In Mass Effect Retribution, Drew's Shepard spared the base. I could be wrong though. The Mass Effect novels aren't particularly memorable.

But it most likely won't.
The concensus among fans seems to be that Cerberus either use the technology from the base or (if you blew it up) scraps from the base.Aeowyn wrote...
