There are a lot of ways to do things to keep an audience and bring in new, and that is to teach. For example if I am a 12 year old that has no idea of who you are or what you wrote, all I am interested in this chick, and then play some game. I go play some game, the chick calls, I drop the game.
An older audience sees more. Appealing to both the old and the new starts with a small game, not a large one. An immediate sequal, then another. In other words my idea is to get some PnP back in the game and a way to do that could be done on a smaller scale. A novel comes out and a few months later another, then another. A small game could be brought out in this way.
Small game one: Jundar the the thief.
Small Game two: Aiykun the sword saint
Small game three: Raisha the healer
This will appeal to an audience that reads, and if done right will appeal to the 12 year old that drops the phone, gets his girlfriend to play with him.
The idea of the PnP is important because it should not be lost. A way to implement old PnP back in will depend on a few things. Jundar the thief ,for example could be made into a stealth game, and some core DnD could be brought in. Some of the core I could like to see is climbing, etc...If its done right, you get them back into DnD and PnP.
The 4th game could possibly include all three characters, or make it 5, a party for a large game.

Basically make 5 games with a 7-8 month period, and then the 6 at the years end. Each will have its own plot and play style. You have too much talent on your staff to waste with graphics and physics and not let your writers breathe. As to the old PnP, I would like to see it, and let them bring it back.

Could you please, at least once, give us a definition of PnP? That way, we have something to go on

Take out your DnD playbook, and teach someone how to play it. Keep in mind this person has no idea what a Paladin is or what he stands for. You make a small game about a Paladin, it is a short game that has its own playstyle. After, you understand what it means to be a Paladin, and lawful good. There are obstacles that get in your way, ...... You are a lawful good person, not getting the choice between good and bad, wrong...You could be a fallen Paladin, but understand what a Paladin is. This is game one. Game two, then three, then 4, then 5, and in 6 or so, they all meet and then that is the party. There are some hiccups with how the last game would pan out with so many play styles, but the idea is to teach and keep PnP as something of value

DnD is about playing with others, whether you like them or not. Supporting ideas, makes for a better party, but if you insist that the bad guy is a noober, and is foolish, perhaps you can understand that the man talking to you is asking for support on an idea, and not really too much into submission, because it just doesnt sit well with him.

No. We have enough kooky ideas on this board. thank you very much.
Valve tried the whole episodic bullcrap. Doesn't work very well.

Game one: Jundar was from a prominent family, but lost a sibling at a young age. He was a natural talent, and everyone knew it, including him. One day, his he was at festival, and he knew he had more to offer the world, and hated seeing mom and dad go. He had already eyed the pickpocket and reasoned that he was not alone. ...... Anyway the idea is that smaller games brought together is something that has not been done before. As to PnP, teach yourself to offer suggestions
