Im about to start the game and was wondering whether an Arcane warrior can use the Dual Weapon talents? and if not can they use two weapons anyway and in which combos ie. sword+dagger, long sword+longsword etc.

sword+dagger everyone can use so yeah they can use it. I think they'll suffer an attack penalty though without the dual wield skills.



I went sword and board with my arcane warrior a while back. It made sense since AW are all about the defense.

I'm intending to go sword and dagger for my AW. I figure he doesn't really need any further defences (essentially packing the very best armour and the very best defensive spells in the game, not to mention a bucket of interference spells).

I'd recommend medium armor like the ancient elven set because of the fatigue hit which will drain mana fast. Up to you though. I gimped my AW and started over as a result.



Also remember, it tends to be better if only your tank wears massive armor since apparently that's where aggro starts.

I would HIGHLY suggest you just use a sword. AW's have one big problem, they miss ALLOT of the time. Prepare for your sword to be doing just as much damage to the air as it is the enemy.



DW would only make this far worse. And you can't use combat talents with the AW.
