That shirt needs to be a thing.

Then again... Bioware/EA jerking people around with all of the DLC shenanigans *would* elicit Morrigan's approval...

Unfortunately, no. I really, really hope that someone who actually got the pack actually visits the forums every now and again, and would be willing to come forward and give information on what the items actually do.

Of course, I am starting to have doubts on whether or not it was actually given away to anyone..

I know it's not really important, as it's just a few items in a game overflowing with items, but I am a hoarder by nature when I play RPGs. You can probably blame the Zelda series for that one, but I digress. I like having access to all of the items. Alas, seeing as how Bioware now has an MMO *and* Mass Effect 3 DLC *and* Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer to be working on and supporting, I suspect that not a lot of resources and people will be available to coordinate DLC distribution for Dragon Age 2, even for something as small as a handful of items.

In light of the announcement that Dragon Age 2 is officially wrapped up in terms of any new story content and the like, I would like to take this opportunity to address Bioware.

First of all, thank you. Dragon Age II was not developed under ideal circumstances, and while the resulting problems are quite evident in the final product, I nonetheless have enjoyed it immensely.

Second, now that Dragon Age II is pretty much done, I would like to petition anyone working at Bioware reading this to please consider releasing the various promotional DLC items to the general public. I for one would not mind (and have not minded) paying for item packs.

Would it be at all possible, as a swan song and thank you to your loyal fans, to please release the Fan Reward Pack DLC either through a promotional giveaway or in a purchasable pack?

Signed. I approve of this, because I, for one, think that the people who were unable to get Fadeshear and the Lion shield of Orlais should be allowed to enjoy them like I have. :)

I agree, we own, play and support the game. We should not have to buy multiple copies just to get the codes from specific retailers for certain items and, we should not have to buy other games we would not play to get things for Dragon Age. I would buy a DLC pack for say 10 USD or less if it had ALL of the various promo items in it.

There is no news on this.

It was a 3 item pack that we gave away during the San Diego Comic Con. Currently we have no plans to reuse or distribute these items. I have passed the idea of giving them away again to the Dev team for future consideration, but there are no plans to release these currently.

It has been 11months now, still planning to release this DLC to the general public?

It is pretty disappointing that they just abandoned DA:2 because of negative feedback. If anything, they should have tried to redeem themselves by producing a good quality expansion. Personally I loved the game and was severely let down when they announced it was done. Just my opinion :-/.

I definitely agree with you SirSponge. It was a shame that they abandon DA2. The least they could do was an exapansion .. but they dedicate completly to DA3. So all we have to do is to wait :)

If anyone here is still following this thread... they did it. They released not just the fan reward pack, but ALL of the promotional items for BOTH Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age II for FREE, and for EVERYONE.

Bioware, thank you so freakin much!

Edit: Oh, and the bonus items for Dragon Age II.

The question that remains is whether the unlocks work the way they are supposed to:

http://social.biowar.../index/15212007

These are unlocked items, as opposed to actual DLC.

(About that subject, and about Answers HQ, which appears to be broken most of the time when I try loggin in there for the last several days.)

Official support is still EA Help.
