Well not really, unless it makes sense.
Harbinger has its place, but it seriously needs to be made a
lot more intimitading. For the most part in ME2 Harbinger was almost a parody of the reapers, a joke.
The conversation on arrival made me ../../../images/forum/emoticons/sick.png with the cheesiness (yes call me elitist, whatever...).
From a concept which was pretty deep for a videogame story (yes even including the husks and asari!

), I feel it sadly became watered down to the usual excuse for having some big bad antagonist to motivate the player, and this is very much attributed to the impression Harbinger gave in ME2 (never mind things like scions and praetorians).
I appreciate a game, and especially one as heavily focused on combat as mass effect, needs to have opponents for the player to triumph against. But now I feel to an extent the reasons for these opponents is more greatly affected by the need for engaging combat, rather than them fitting into a believable and deep story.
Don't get me wrong, it's still enjoyable and I'm sure ME3 will be extremely fun to play.
Whether it will "touch my mind" and leave a lasting impression, remains to be seen.
