After replaying Mark of the Assassin, I realized that both Legacy and MotA added to stories about your companions.
In legacy you had Anders' corruption (which granted could be seen as minor), In MotA you had Avaline investigating her family crest; leading to more questions.
My queery is this, do you think that the DLCs are leading up to epilogues, or are these just little extra quests to keep us interested in the characters?
I mean yes I've heard rumors that future DLCs will be epilogues, but are we seeing this now?
Is anyone else enjoying these little snippets?

It would certainly be interesting if some of the threads picked up in the various DLCs were explored in later post-game content. Though, the only one so far that really seems to 'open up' into new directions is Aveline's. Isabela's, Varric's, Ander's and Bethany/Carver's extra bits don't really lead anywhere new, just give more insight into those characters. That said, there are a bunch of major threads (Corypheus, Qunari spies) that could be brought up later, but I have a feeling they will be in future DA game (3 and onwards) rather than in DLC.

I, for one, am really enjoying the little snippets of lore and character development we get in the DLCs. I am looking forward to more on Fenris, Merrill and Sebastian. If there is one based around Starkhaven, it is obvious who we should take there, but the others are less obvious. I'm hoping for another 2 DLC adventures set in the main game (just to fill up all the mats in Gamlen's shack), hopefully followed by a post-game expansion or series of DLCs (as in, ones that lead into one another rather than being separate).

I'm actually quite interested as to whether there will be anything focused on the Enigma of Kirkwall.

So far, I've immensely enjoyed both DLCs (even though I was rather skeptic of MotA at first), particularly the fact they provide more insight and development regarding the companions. That, and the whole Companion/Hawke banter - something I really missed in the vanilla game.

When you're looking at the relationships established throughout both Legacy and MotA - Sebastian and Bethany, Carver and Merrill, more Fenris and Isabela acknowledgement - the DLCs have so far provided a wonderful way to give more details regarding the epilogue.

I'm pretty sure (or hopeful, in any case) any future DLC will follow the same course of character development as the previous two have, which makes me eager to see what BioWare will come up with next.

Wasn't Legacy already nudging the whole Enigma-thing? I can't for the life of me remember if a dev commented on it or not, but there are quite a lot of theories going around that the event spoken of in the Enigma of Kirkwall was actually the Tevinter magisters seeking and gaining access to the Fade.

Hmmm, I suppose so - I always thought Legacy was related but different. I hadn't put together the whole 'Kirkwall is where they entered the Black City' connection. That would actually make a lot of sense given the information in them. It just seemed odd to me that there was this running theme through all the acts (heck, with an Achievement of its own as well), that didn't really seem to go anywhere. Part of me assumed that Act 4 (Possible Expansion) would deal, in part, with this.
