Constantly shifting forms heals you, and helps you survive if he keeps spamming ram and massive attack. Once he stops, you can start nuking him.

I found the Ogre form of the Sloth Demon the toughest enemy during my entire Solo Dalish Rogue run... constant reloads until I finally hit him with enough Bombs, & shifting form abilities (the crushing prison used after buying time with the stun ability in Golem mode) ... Uldred was a piece of the proverbial !!!

i found using burning man to hit and run to be effective..as soon as you see him go into animation to throw run to the side a lil bit....if your using a sword..use inferno at the farthest range to light him on fire then run again...if mage than same thing except ur staff can do damage..shift to the lich and use the ise spell and crushing prison to slow him down to give u more distance

The easiest way I've found to deal with the Sloth Demon solo on nightmare was I set up a few large claw traps with a frost trap and when he starts as an ogre run him over them depending on the amount you set he should be nearly, if not dead instantly. Go fire man form for phase 2 of the fight, and after that just rely on poultices and it should be good. You can stun all the forms except the last as well.
