There'll be DA3, but once that sells even worse than DA2 I doubt EA will let them make another.

Who is to say that they aren't already planning for DA3? I think it's obvious that they are given the little bits of information that we have received. Will it sell worst? Yes but if Bioware truly have added the elements from Origins back again such as the more tactical combat, atmospheric environments and story system, then I don't see why it eventually wouldn't sell better when word of mouth travels. I think DA3 will be better, so long as there are no recycled environments or ninjas and if DA3 is truly set in TWO nations, then at least that means we won't be exploring the same old same old city again and again.

what a DA3? I'm still waiting on DA2 to come out. As i said in my first thread after playing 2 for an hour. titled . " COOL game but when it DA2 coming out"

Thedas is an interesting place so despite what people think of DA 2 the setting, lore, and overall universe is too interesting to abandon. Just learn from the mistakes of DA 2 and move on. BTW DA 2 does not deserve the hate it has gotten (waits to be labeled a fanboy)

They seem to have found a cheap and quick way to make mediocre RPGs that turn profit with modest sales. They also got relatively strong brand for these generic products.

So, there's gonna be Dragon Age n+1.

Haha yeah, just look at metacritic! That proves it!

Anyway, I guess those folks who want to spoil the fun of a new game for us will just have to be disappointed then, DA3 is confirmed and I personally can't wait to see what they have in store for us with it.

I think before DA3 comes out we'll see more DLC and maybe an expansion. I remember in some thread someone said at PAX or something they saw a screen shot of armor slots for companions. I think it was Merrill's equipment page? I think I'm remembering this right, but could be wrong. Anyway, if it IS right, and it's DA2 characters, that kind of change would need to be in an expansion not a DLC from what super limited knowledge I have of DLC vs. expansion stuff they can do. I'm thinking another DLC or 2 to show buyers that they are making changes, then an expansion then DA3! Well, that;'s what my nerdy self wants anyway.

DA2 is not a good game or a good RPG. I do wonder  what DA3, might hold but im not holding my breath that they can pull something better than DAO, but hope its better than DA2.

I think some of us get the picture here.....this pretty much happens for most sequels, some love it and some dislike it.

Personally i loved both DA: O and DA2.....i'm going back for yet another DA: O save for another DA2 run. I have a feeling a lot of people didn't keep their expectations of DA2 at an even keel even though i can respect their dislike for the game. Resusing certain areas didn't bother me in the least, but i have to admit i did scratch my head at the combat adjustments until i got used to them....

I for one will be quite disappointed if i don't at least get to see the Flemeth/Morrigan/Sandal tet-a-tet i have been expecting....

Not only do i think there will be another Dragon Age, but Dragon Age 3 will be a must have for me. :innocent:
