I hope it isn't coming out for a long time. That said if they rush it like DA2 it could potentially be out around this time next year... That's about 18 months from when DA2 was released right? Fingers crossed they'll take at least an additional 6 months this time.

I hope they don't rush it. I'm already nervous about ME3. I really hope Bioware takes its time with DA3, especially after all the rage from DA2. I'm willing to give them another chance and see what happens. I just don't get game companies like Ubisoft for example who want to release a game in a series (Assassin's Creed in this case) every year. Eventually the quality will go way down and the games will get rushed. I really hope that doesn't happen here. But I'm getting way off topic.

Geez seems like they have been proving the chicken littles of the internet world wrong for a very very long time now.

I find it funny that multiplayer would be an option at all. Ever multiplayer game EA makes fails online take nfs people play it for like 3 months or so and then everone leaves. Why because ever game ea puts online has no lasting online features that make people wanna play. The problem is EA started online after Blizzard starting becoming one of the top american gaming companies. So EA wants to be top but yet they cannot make a game lasting enough to want to stay online. They would do the same with DA3 if it went online. Would be cool at first but when everones got the same gear and so on its just pvp or do the same quest over and over. Sorry but EA will never be a lasting online company. Now if they stayed to single player they would be ok sad thing is they are trying to compete, and in doing so they are taking away from the story and single player parts of there games.

Bioware doesn't give Dragon Age the same attention, Mass Effect is obviously the favorite child in the family.
I mean...Mass Effect is going to have a feature film with Legendary Pictures, Dragon Age got a horrible webseries with...Felicia Day (hahaha). .

The Mass Effect movie, now there is something I don't want to see. Well, not unless they can be faithful to the spirit of the game and give the viewers both a male and female Shepard on screen together. (From across the multiverse the two Shepards come together to take on the multidimensional Reapers. Will the female and male Shepard get off together during down time ? That might just work. But focusing on the male Shepard...lame.)

Meanewhile, multiplayer DA 3 is not something I have any interest in

I am right there with you. Dragon Age would be terrible in my opinion if there was multiplayer mode.
