"We've Got the Whole Quarian Fleet Waiting in Orbit."

And yes, this is very significant, especially since Legion is in that scene.
The big question of this game is the riddle of how the Geth and the Quarians can overcome their trust issues. The answer appears to be to have extinction staring both species in the face.
They need each other. The Quarians have an intact fleet because they have no home planet. Therefore, they Reapers have no fixed target to attack. However, they must have a home planet for their non-combatants before their fleet can muster for a serious attack, as Adm. Gerrel plainly says in Tali's trial. They cannot leave those non-combatants undfended, however.
Likewise, the Geth need the Quarian fleet just like everybody else. Yes, I know much of the fleet is old junk, but they can still carry weapons. They have to "fight smart, preferably from orbit" al Kal'Reger also says plainly at Tali's trial.
The combined power of the Geth and the Quarians are among the most valuable "war assets" in the game, barring some anti-reaper "secret weapon," vital intelligence or control of the Mass Relays.

The fact that Legion was present in that scene just shows that perhaps the quarians have recognised that Legion is a variety of geth that wasn't fighting with Saren, or one of the heretics.
The quarians have always been my favourite race, and I hope to see a way to allow quarians to earn their place in the galaxy by kicking ass against some reapers. I think it about time that the quarians stopped being supressed in society. And also, that more effort was made to learn about the quarian race as a whole.
When you talk to the quarian who was accused of stealing the credit chit on the Citadel, she is very surprised when Shepard shows that he/she knows what a pilgrimage is. You would think most people would know things like that.

Killing all quarians resolves this issue.
.
That is what I'll try to do it my game anyway. Use them as cannon fodder against the reapers and finished them off after winning the war.

today i learned that sometimes someponies just dont want to get along. but fret not, for i have also learned that the best way to make best friends of worst enemies is to rage a bloody war where their only option is to unite or die.
sincerely,
your humble servant,
Death Pony.

I was re-watching the E3 trailers and noticed something I hadn't before. At around 2:40 in this video, you can hear someone (I think it's Shepard) say, "We've got the whole quarian fleet waiting in orbit."
Now, I remember it was theorized before that that planet could be the quarian homeworld, so it would make sense, I guess. But the whole quarian fleet waiting in orbit? That's quite significant.
Just a random thought. Have at it.
Excellent find Fiery. I need time to put my theory together on this.

"One war at a time," — Abraham Lincoln.
Honestly, I just don't get why so many players are intent upon dividing and getting conquered.

But I would be fighting only one war at a time.

Trust issues? You make it seem like all they need is a counseling session and some team building activities.Thompson family wrote...

You would prefer "hateful enmity" perhaps? Let's see:

There, was that all better?

Anyways I agree, using the biggest fleet in the galaxy to bombard the planet below would be such an amazing visual. If this was a cutscene or better yet, during gameplay, (OR BOTH

You could also use quarian ships for logistics. Need to move people, troops, supplies fast? The quarians are EXPERTS at logistics! Need quick bombing support? Call in the fleet~
However in direct ship to ship combat quarians just don't cut it. All of their ships are either three centuries old, scavenged, or purchased (decommissioned) ships from other nations. If a modern fleet can't tackle the reapers, they will be torn through pretty quickly.

Why the hell would Shepard need a bunch of flimsy Quarians to fight the Reapers. I thought we needed allies not liabilities.
In space, everybody needs a suit.

Why do people assume that the flotilla would be fighting? Sure quantity has a quality of its own, but assign quarian engineering teams to more modern vessels after they've gotten their non combatants safely on Rannoch and use those 50,000 ships as the massive logistical asset they are. Even if they aren't combat worthy, you've got the ability to move vast numbers of people and materiel there.
I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite quote on this thread.
