first off: i've serched the forum and cannot find an anwser to my problem. if it's already been asked please link it for me
needed to reformat my hard drive, and now i need to reinstall dao, awakeing and dlc. i've done so through steam, where i got the game + expansion orginally. got the dlc through bioware's websight. and first time around it worked and i had a lot of fun.
but now, after reinstall, the game is not regeresting the awanking expansion as installed, even though i reinstalled it as well, nor is the dlc avabile. and i mean not regeresting as either avabile for download, installed, or able to be purchsed. not even saying it's not avaible on my account. it's just flat out not there, as though it doesn't exsist.
can anybody help me?

Hard to troubleshoot specifics without more info... like do you have the separate versions of DAO and Awakening or do you have the Ultimate Edition.
Anyway, try the Solutions Roundup at http://social.biowar...8/index/6265850 and look under the heading called: "Awakening -- Problems with the Ultimate Edition". Even if you don't have UE, the there are links to the Steam forums that might help.

sorry, don't know how ultimate edition works, so i didn't know to post i got everything seperatly, got the origonal when the price came down a bit, awakening somewhere around it's launch, and the dlc later when i wanted a little more out of my game. da:o and awakining off of steam, the dlc purchsed from bioware's web sight and installed via the game options tab.
lets see here, what else might be usefull? intell 2.66g x 2 prossessors, 2.75g ram, winxp pro 32bit sp3, nvivia geforce gtx 260 videocard, realtek hd audio. i don't use mods. dx 9.0c. patch ver 1.04

no luck, although uninstalling then reinstaling the awaking expansion will let me play the aforementioned expansion. what really puzzles me is the dlc not showing up. not under the installed or avaible or even the can purchse tab of the downloadable content option off of the main menu section.
my achivements from the dlc show up in the achivments area, but that's the only place they show up. the items i earned arn't showing up in inventory, the dlc isn't showing up in the other campains option.

ok, my main problem has gone unresolved, i searched bioware forums, i searched steam forums. no luck with either.
dlc, purchesed or not, does not appear under downloaded content. not under the buy tab, the installed tab, or the downloading tab. this is using points pursched on the bioware sight, and spent via the ingame option, and downloaded ingame.
