I know its in the "Collector Edition" of Mass Effect 2. But what about the players that bought the original game and bought every single DLC including all outfits and weapon packs, the last thing they need to really complete the collection is the collectors armor.  Who else thinks bioware needs to make it a DLC, the game has been out for quite awhile.

Anyways if there is anyone out there that has a code for the collectors armor. I would indeed like to have it oh so much. Help me look snazzy in the fight for mankind you guys! Help a fan out!

BTW. Its the Xbox 360 version of the game.

they won't ever release it as a stand alone DLC, not when there are still copies out there. that's like flushing cash down the toilet.

How about no.

I splashed out ten extra quid on my collector's edition. The way I see it, I've paid for a bit of exclusivity.

I bought the original edition of Mass Effect 2. I managed to get the Collectors armor by buying the deluxe digital edition on pc when it was on offer. Check steam for it.

You got other stuff besides the weapon & armor.

There is an ongoing debate in the larger gaming community about whether or not in-game content should be exclusive to limited edition versions of the game. Most people fall on the side of the coin that favors all in-game content to be available for purchase. In the long run, they would make more money from that than the extra they get from marginally increased limited edition sales.

Eh... so it's okay for a company to be greedy and in it for the money so long as it benefits you?

At any rate, I disagree with the idea. As much as I would like to actually have the Collector Armor, I feel that those that went and got the pre-order deserve their exclusivity. Making it avaialble for everyone defeats the point of getting that stuff to begin with. Quite honestly the only reason I want the Collector Armor is because I don't have it, not because I should be entitled to it...

If Id known what it was like before I'd activated it I'd have given it to you for free, I hate that piece of Junk. Sadly I've already used it.

I have the collectors edition, with the armor and assult rifle. I would not really call it awesome, but it does look cool. The armor gived a bonus to health and regeneration. The rifle is basically an M-8 with different sound effects. It also fires more slowly.

I see how much these things are selling for on e-bay, and have no idea why people would pay that much for them.

I got into the Mass Effect series after everyone else - basically a year behind the crowd. Somehow I was able to get the last collectors edition in a best buy that was only a few blocks from my house. While its cool and all, and certainly worth the money of the collectors edition, I would not pay what I see these goofballs puttin gthem up on e-bay for.

Yeah, and most of us are willing to pay just as much, if not more, for it now.

Nice logic there, not taking into account the fact that not all of us got into Mass Effect 2 when it first came out.

I paid the premium for the CE as well but I don't care if they offer it up as a paid DLC now. It's been long enough and people who didn't/couldn't get the game at the time should eventually have the chance to get the armor.

I feel the same way about the Terminus Gear, I probably feel stronger about that because the Terminus Gear didn't come as an extra cost.

Enough time has passed let fans of the game experience the game completely with all dlc being available to them. I can honestly say that this is the only dlc I do not have and would love to move on to mass effect 3 knowing that I fully completed me 2 with all contents that I acquired.

Meh, that's why you work the system. I pre-ordered the Collectors Edition from EB Games, got my Collectors code pre-order bonus, then returned the game. I then purchased a normal copy (wasn't interested in the physical items) from Game UK at about half the price than here in Australia, then bugged EA support for an Inferno Armour code.

Seriously, a single shiney - or, in this case, gooey - is hardly worth all the fuss, is it now. I could give you my copy of that armor if i could. I don't think I ever wore it anyway.

Same. I've used the weapon, but never the armour.

What does the collector's armor look like?

It's included in the CE package? I got the CE, but don't remember seeing it.

Yeah, it's a code on a small piece of paper/cardboard inside the CE box. As for what it looks like, do a Google images search, or look at the Mass Effect wiki.

Maybe I redeemed it already. Is there a way to check if I have it on my Xbox 360? Like in my download queue or something?

Sure - here on the Bioware forums, look at the menu on your left. Put the mouse cursor over 'My Profile', and then click on 'Registered Game Content'. That will give you a list of all of the DLC (both paid and free) you have registered for any Bioware game for any platform.

edit: Can anyone confirm that the "Collector's Weapon and Armor" shows up in their "Registered Game Content" as described by Captain_Obvious_au above? Mine doesn't show it regsitered on this site, but it shows it in my purchase history on Xbox Live so the below is indeed the armor as I see it on my Xbox 360.

edit 2: I'm also not seeing Cerberus Network access either.

Thanks, i's listing the following:

Terminus Weapon and Armor Mass Effect 2 Xbox 360 More Info
Zaeed - The Price of Revenge (Cerberus Network) Mass Effect 2 Xbox 360 More Info
Cerberus Weapon and Armor (Cerberus Network) Mass Effect 2 Xbox 360 More Info
Normandy Crash Site (Cerberus Network) Mass Effect 2 Xbox 360 More Info
Cerberus Arc Projector (Cerberus Network) Mass Effect 2 Xbox 360 More Info
Firewalker Pack (Cerberus Network) Mass Effect 2 Xbox 360 More Info

However, in my purchase history, I see something listed as "Collectors' Weapon and Armor", but what it links to is broken.

http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/Product/Collectors-Weapon-and-Armor/***

Anyone with this pack can confirm the name of the dlc?
