They don't, necessarily. I'm just saying that we're kind of getting a more disproportionate number of human squadmates than I'd prefer. Especially now that we're getting another damned human soldier...

Yes, exactly. I feel that my squad can stand to have a tad more diversity than everything else, since most of them aren't actually provided by the Alliance.

You're misunderstanding, likely deliberately. No human character individually is less interesting for being human. It's a numbers issue, not a character one.

More aliens. You can see humans everywhere, in every game there is almost, when we finally get games like ME about the larger universe, tough fictional it might be, I wanna see some aliens on my crew dammit.

Xilli - if we are going to talk numbers, then we have to lok at thenumbers overall.  2 humans 4 alians.  on an alliance ship.

or 3 aliens, in case you aren't buying collector's edition which is where "prothy" is coming from, though so far, developers haven't actualy confirmed the species of the squadmates, other then saying that it was just a code name.

alliance ship, Xilli.  human Alliance ship.  with a human protagonist.  this is not Farscape we are talking about.  its like you asking to see humans and asari serving on Turian ships etc.  the fact that we have alian squadmates as it is, is already pushing it into specialness territory.

the dlc for me3  includes a squadmate; at one point it stated it was a prothean squadmate, now it just says squadmate with no other qualifier

What's wrong with that? Seeing how we're the main species, as well as the only one with multiple genders, I'd say it's only natural.

and?  Shepard is super special with his/her savior status and the lazarus modification and the fact that Shep is possibly the only living being left in the galaxy that can still understand prothean fluently  (if  you killed Shiala that is) its not bad. and neither is having humans serving on a human ship as away team.

I just don't want to have frickin' Vega. Another human soldier, a new squadmate in a time where we should be focusing on older relations and how they can relate to the war...
