What's a proper strength number then?

@moto - just took Arya with Mungo, Chase and my Arisen (Ulee), and killed the Ur-Dragon offline. She did just fine. Mungo is a lower level than Arya, so if you grab a couple of higher level pawns, you are good to go with the Ur-Dragon offline.

Got another Ascalon if anyone wants it.

As for proper strength, it really depends on level and what you deem most important for your pawn (or Arisen, for that matter). I like a well rounded pawn myself, so I set up a vocation building/switching that gave me well rounded numbers for the level we are (current level and numbers are (without gear or weapons....the number in the parenthesis): Level - 152, Strength - 455, Magic - 428, Defense - 348, Magic Defense -358.

@happy - ooooooh! yay! New pretties to play with. Damn! Now I really want to make another Arisen and Pawn. Or at least one I can switch too. I have another Xbox profile, but never really wanted to bother with it. Anyone also play this game on the PS3? LOL!

I have one saved game on my hard drive, and the other one on the cloud. I never bothered to create any other profiles, and the cloud is free, so I figured, why not? We also have a USB card if I am feeling really ambitious.

We do have a PS3, too. 

I'd take the Ascalon! I need to get Iorveth's vocation switched first, but we're in the middle of a goreclops fight. There was a cursed dragon in here at the same time. Once he was dead, I got 4 things forged. Yay!

Let me check on our numbers. I was looking at the number not in parenthesis, like an idiot. LOL

Edit: ha, no wonder. We're level 75, and Selene's strength is only 264, and Iorveth's is 335. Yikes.

@happy - consider the Ascalon yours. I'll keep checking for Iorveth to change to fighter. I am sending him back with a new Ranger jacket, shortly. Thought I would take him into BBI with me. BTW, for level 75 those numbers aren't bad at all.

I thought about the cloud (and I have used a USB thumb drive before), so I might end up doing that. I still have an Arisen on the PS3. But I don't have DD:DA for the PS3, and since I am sort of addicted to BBI....course, I could just use it to play around in the CC from scratch. That could be fun.

Thanks, you are the best! I'm back at Olra right now, and I'll get Iorveth switched soon. I need to dump some serious gear off with her. Sucks that Barroch isn't just standing here, like he is in my other run. I noticed that the level 3 chests in Midnight Helix were just regular chests...probably since I haven't even gotten near Daimon yet.

Edit: ok, Iorveth is switched over to Fighter. Thanks again.

Picked him back up to gift him Ascalon, but I too need to head to bed. Will tool around with him tomorrow....will probably switch Chase to Ranger for a bit. Also have Aedan with us....I love having Sorcerers in the group. Should probably make Chase a Sorcerer again at some point. He has some beeotching gear for that vocation.

Heads up, Happy, the gift you sent me turned to a rock. I like it though, I'm off to throw it at Mountebank.

It may be because you swapped save files, I'm not sure. But I'd avoid giving anything expensive/rare for 24 hours.

I know this was posted a while ago (I am very behind), but I have been trying this today and my Arisen/Thomas have already gone up two levels, maxed out Magick Archer/Ranger and are now four levels up on Fighter/Strider already!  Great advice, thanks !  

The only downside was that my Arisen had to kill Ser Maximilian which was sad.  Oh well!


Edit - should add, those soldiers drop a lot of '100' gold pouches and curatives, which has been very handy.

She was indeed!  The amount of soldiers who went flying in the air when she was using them was awesome.  Made me laugh anyway!

I am seeing references to save files.  Do you need to use a different drive if you want to start a new game (to make a new pawn/Arisen)?  Thanks

It was really good advice, gifted to me from Carcharoth.  I'm happy it helped! I've been using that same tactic now, myself, as I switched back to my original Arisen. She could use some serious training, as I found out.

The cash helped me out as well. This character only had about $150k, whereas my other one was up over $45 million. I got kinda used to buying whatever I wanted, so this being frugal (for now) business kinda stinks.

Are you serous? Urgh. Honestly, I doubt it was anything spectacular; last night in BBI, "Poxy Flesh" was a "New" material, if that tells you anything. 

That might also explain the rock I received. Hmm.

And, here's Selene, my remade Arisen. I think I like her(?) I was trying to go for a little more "exotic" look.

Newschmoo, yeah, you gotta either save to the Cloud or to a USB drive. I have my original game (Arya) on my USB, and I started my new game (Seel) on my harddrive. I hardly ever save anything to my HD anymore...

@newschmoo - I had money troubles originally as well. Still sometimes do, since I forget to sell things. LOL. Have fun with your new arisen and pawn.

^ Did you get Madeleine? I got her twice. Also, there is a whole post-game portion. New quests and you can go to a much-expanded Everfall. BBI if you have Dark Arisen.

Thanks, guys! OMG, I'm still having trouble with my lower-level Arisen in BBI. She is such a wimp. It's hard to go from level 170 to less than half that, let me tell you! We've been fighting the same Firedrake for about 20 minutes, and he's only about half dead. Serves me right for going in as an Assassin with a fire-enchanted bow. Boo.

I got Selene i was not aware that there where options. Anyways i am currently collecting a bunch of wake stones for some pawn. So far i have killed a hydra a black chimera and some tentacle thing down in the ever fall. I have not even started on the DA content yet,

I'm using Framae Blades, and my Arisen can't seem to actually stagger anyone with them. Fighting the Duke's guards was a humbling experience, as she just kept getting staggered herself, when she hit their shields. I don't remember having this kind of trouble with the other one.

Anyway, the dumb Drake is finally dead. Took us 40 minutes. 

Oh, and I did get the coat, thanks! Didn't get the Ascalon yet, though.

Onto the Fallen City. I can't remember if I've been here yet with this Arisen.

I just switched Iorveth back to Warrior, since I just got Twinpaler, and I'm trying out Mage. The Fallen City was a bust - nobody there, and all of the chests were open. I'm sorry in advance, nothing is Dragonforged. I'm going to go look for some dragons now.

So...wimpy...I might switch back to my other character, if I can't turn this around. I'll give it some time, though.
