I did have a slight panic last night, because I couldn't load my game at first because it was "corrupted". Went back to Xbox Home, reloaded and it was fine. Really odd!

If you have a spare usb drive anywhere, this would be the time to back up your save, just in case. You can never be too careful.

I wouldn't call this a spoiler, it's just Feste being Feste.


Oh, I forgot to mention, I ended up with Quina in the final cutscene. I guess even Aelinore won't hang around after dousing her in liquid effluvium and tossing her into the ocean.

@Trista - I never got around to gifting those wakestones, but I'll toss some his way today.

I left off last night in the Fallen City. The Godsbaning was taking forever, and I was sleepy, so I'll have to finish that and fight AD later when I get online. My hubs got up before me to take the ferrets in to the vet for a check-up, so he called dibs on the big tv. And we just got the message this morning from DirecTV confirming that it is, indeed, a free Cinemax weekend.

Good lord, I must still be sleeping. I typed 'weapon', instead of weekend. 

Yep, Trista, as coldy said, you have to be wearing anything you want Dragonforged. That might mean changing your vocation before you head out to fight a dragon, if your current vocation can't wear or wield whatever you want forged.

I'll try to get some of my non-BBI items forged, so I can gift them with red forging. The problem is that some of that stuff that I already have in my inventory is already blue or yellow forged...you can't gift those, BBI or not, sadly.

Umm, and somehow I missed this page when I replied. Come on, coffee! Kick in!

Well, I gifted her the effluvium, but I DID throw her off the pier in Cassardis several times. Since I wanted to get a shot of it for the YMCA thing, I decided to just toss her from the beach...

...because if I missed the shot from the end of the pier, (I already had twice, I couldn't get a good angle) I had to wait seven days for her to respawn.

I just beat AD again, and picked up a few things...no Vile Wakestones again, but I did get a level 3 armor. When I went to purify, all 3 of the level 3 armors I had we're low level cursed gears, so I'm happy to give them away...any takers?

I also have a bunch of level 1 and 2 stuff. I had two level 3 weapons, but the second one yielded Framae Blades, so I had to burn the first one to get it. Surprise, the one I burned was yet another Sanguine Stalk. I think I've gotten about 20 of those overall.

So I sold that, and a bunch of other duplicates, and gained another $9 million. At some point, it's just silly.

Trista, I can gift you and your husband some level 3 armor, if you want it. Do you both have enough Rift crystals to purify them? Be sure to check the wiki, to optimize your vocations to get the best gear.

Ok, I'm on a gifting binge, so when you guys sleep, you should wake up with some cursed gear. I tried to get everyone. Some of it is probably crap, but it may come in handy, who knows. I more or less just closed my eyes and picked something, so no promises.

Shep, I haven't let Shinon go yet, because he's a Strider with no skillz. I'd like to keep him for a while as an arse-kicker. Hehe. Let me know if there's anything you want.

Edit: aww, the Ur Dragon I had fought was dead when I went in there to fight him just now. I did get an Ascalon and Volant White, plus some cash and Wakestones, so it wasn't a bad haul, considering I only fought him once.

@happy - whelp, your gift I purified yesterday turned out to be a large hammer (the only thing it would give me that I didn't already have...as yellow vocation gave another Revenant Wail). So I may have to make Chase a Warrior for a while to give that weapon some play time.

@Shepen - Aelinore has a suit pending against your Arisen. Looking for compensation in the realm of 1.2 million. Has added a demand for a written apology as well.

Coldy, did you check today? I had just finished gifting stuff when I posted that, so you may have more crap waiting for you, hehe.

I have Chase in my party right now...and Ranger Shinon...not sure what to do next. Do I go have some face time with the Seneschal? Tinker around in the Everfall? Go back through BBI? I have no idea, so I'm going to stew on it for a bit.

And as far as I know, I won't need anything for a while. I'll be kicking about in Gransys and keeping a photo record of my journeys.


It'll be nice to see places like Soulflayer Canyon again. And perhaps I'll actually be able to do the Duchess in Distress quest this time.

Aww, this Feste I like!  I didn't know that Aelinore reappears post Dragon.  I need to find her so I can make sure her affinity for my Arisen lowers! 

Re the backing up of the save, I have just copied the save from the hard drive on my Xbox to a USB stick.  Is that right?  I don't know how to back up a save from the game as you can't change storage systems in game. 

@Trista  sorry to hear about your corrupt save. I must say my stomach lurched a bit last night.  I don't know what I would have done if I lost it all

Coldy, it was your birthday? Well happy (late) birthday! Have fun with the new office chair! I'm a little dense, I didn't quite catch that it was yesterday, until I backtracked through the thread. Derp.

Yeah, I was thinking I should probably max my character before NG+, or it might be a looking while before I can level up, with all the wimpy enemies in vanilla Gransys. It feels like these last 20 levels could take forever.

@Trista - I'm curious about that, too. My other character is the one that benefited from that, by being an existing game when I started DA, but I'm curious nonetheless. I thought I remembered reading about it being for imports and NG+, but I could be wrong. It sure would be nice to use that Eternal Ferrystone. I've been buying them this whole run.

I don't think so. Both of my characters are on the same XBL profile, too, so only one is in play at a time. It's no big deal, though, I can afford it. Hehe.

Ha! That's awesome! I have him with us right now, fully dressed, or I'd recruit the naked version.

I'm seriously considering doing the endgame stuff. (I am such a Shepenwepet wannabe). You mentioned something about Balthier; don't tell me - Gideon Emery's voice? Even more tempting. I could cuddle up at night with that voice. Don't tell my husband!

So if I do, my level will be the same, but will still increase, right? Maybe I will, then. I'll let you guys know if I do. Gotta go Forge my new Framae Blades first.
