okay wow...LOL! Just saw @newschmoo's post about the messed up gamertags/pawns, and the duo of Chases. heh! XD Damn, wish you could take a screenshot when in the rift....would love to know what the "off" Chase looks like. Does he just have pink hair? That would be my doing.

When I'd gone to the rift today, it had a lot of trouble summoning pawns. It was just Quintin for the longest time. I was starting to think he'd killed everyone else so I'd have to pick him.

There was a lot of Shinon-scything going on today, but that's not surprising, considering this is one of his favorite hangouts.

ahhh, yes. The circle of death. I think my Arisen likes hanging out in those as well. XD I swear, whenever one of those pops up underneath her, I have the worst time trying to "jump" her out of it. It's like she gets glued there. lol!

I am currently playing ME1 on the PC, and I am sucking at the controls. I have gotten so used to the Xbox controller playing DD:DA, that I am stumbling all over the keyboard right now. >.<
Will be back on DD:DA in a few hours though. Want to hit things.

I wish I could have taken a photo. The rogue Chase looked a bit like Savan, with pinky red hair, similar style to Thomas. He was just in his underwear but was carrying an Archistaff! It was odd. 

I am now intrigued as to what your Arisen looks like now with her shaved pink hair!

I find it hard playing on a PC without a controller. Luckily with more recent games you can. Unfortunately you can't with any of the DA games. Which is a pain, as modding them is such fun! 

EDIT - i've had a bit of a disaster.  I came out of DD after the odd scenario in the riftstone a few hours ago. I now cannot load my game. I checked the hard drive of my Xbox and it gives the date and time of my last save when I just started the game and it checked for downloadable content 

Luckily, after reading advice on this thread, I saved a copy onto a USB stick a week ago. Unfortunately I am back down from level 65 to level 60. I don't know what went wrong.

Ahh, I read about that one, and thought about trying it. I did love P3...and we can get the psp port on our Vita. My hubs is downloading Dragon's Crown on it right now, and it's almost 1GB, so I'll have to wait. Waa.

I'm scared to play DD, after what happened to newschmoo. Noticed the same thing Shep did this morning, in the rift. It was only Quintin for quite a while, then everyone finally showed up after I did a friend search.

All might not be lost if it just hangs at the downloadable content screen. That happened before, to a lot of us. It was a server issue. Does it say your game save is corrupt? 

There are clearly issues with the servers today, that may be the culprit. Maybe just wait until tomorrow and give it another go before forfeiting those 5 levels.

@newschmoo - Yikes! Sorry to read about your save corruption. That sucks.
As for Chase's alter-ego, how bizarre! LOL! Maybe the rift tried to morph Thomas and Chase into one....lol! Isn't Thomas also a Sorcerer right now?

I did take screenies of my arisen's new pink stubble. I will post shortly.

@shepenwepet - thanks, I hope it is a server issue. My screen was on the downloadable content screen and then brought up the dragon silhouettes to check the brightness. It was like starting a new game. Nothing came up about my save being corrupted.

That's odd, and doesn't sound too promising. Give it another try tomorrow anyway, but this does sound like something went wrong. 

I really should back up my save, my current backup is level 67.

whelp...I guess that is a good reminder for me to dust off my USB drive. I am horrible about remembering to back up saves for games.

In the mean time though, here are a few shots of stubble-head Ulee, Chase with pink hair, and Quintin....who I think we all should blame for server and save weirdness. Yes?

Both Ulee and Chase are super cute. I'm jealous. Any time I've ever tried to create a male character, in any game with a cc, they just end up dorky-looking. In DAO? My dude looked like he had jowls, and huge cheekbones. In Skyrim, my male Breton was completely forgettable. In Mass Effect, I gave up, and used Sheploo. Even with Iorveth, my other pawn, he was a total dork originally. He looks better since I redid him, but now I'm hung up on how he stands. His body is weird. I just can't win.

My hubs just peeked over my shoulder, and said I should make a male Khajiit in Skyrim. He must agree with my assessment, and knows I can't mess up a kitty too badly. Ha!

@happy - Well shucks, lady! Mighty kind of you to say. I think you are selling yourself short, of course, since I think Iorveth is very dishy.

As for male Shepards.....mmmyeah....I have only been able to make one male Shepard that looks good. SO! ALL my male Shepards look like that one Shepard. LOL! Because of that, I name them all after famous twins (Kane/Abel, Rom/Remy - short for Romulus and Remus -, Castor/Pollux.....). Funny thing is, in DAO, I actually liked making more "unique" looking males, then good looking ones.*shrug* DA2 was relatively easy to make a decent looking male Hawke.

He had short hair, and no eye patch. He looked like a frat boy who'd just woke up from a bender. 

Thanks, guys! Maybe he just needs different armor or something. I did change his stature the last time I used him, but didn't really play for long, so he may actually be great now, and I have no idea. Hehe.

Making hot men is my specialty. Except in DD. I make cute boys lol I dunno why. And Seel... who is supposed to look like some etheral LOTR type elf, and I dunno what the heck went wrong.

But my Hawke's? Babes. My Cousland... Babe. Ethan Shepard... mega babe  Making hot men is half the fun of a CC for me :innocent: ...Probably closer to 80%. 

So should I avoid the game tonight? Is it wonky?

I'm playing right now, and haven't had any problems.

Don't worry, I'm not going to rest while I play with this Arisen, so Gabs should still be in the rift. I think? Maybe you should hold on to her, just in case.

I'm meeting with the Seneschal to do NG+...trying to let him kill me, so I can get the Servitude achievement. I stripped down to nothing, and it's still taking a while. Blah. I think you can Godsbane here, but I was curious how long it would take without.

Interesting. At the end, where the book is flipping through the pages, it showed Briana, Shinon, Lady Dejah, and a level 37 Mage named Mimi.

*Sigh...* I get so annoyed with this game sometimes. All I need is one purpure crystal. I kill like 10 saurian sages, and not a single one drops a purpure crystal. So. Annoying. Not to mention the fact that I also need agate and argence and all this other crap to three star my stuff. SO. ANNOYING.

I take it you haven't beat the vanilla game yet? I didn't do it on my main Arisen until like...level 170, I think? And this one was around 87.

Ugh, I have to rest to fight the hydra at the beginning, so that probably means Iorveth will show up in the rift. Just letting you know. I probably can't gift you any materials until after the server has caught up, although I don't know if I have that stuff with this character. I'm heading to bed, but I'll check tomorrow.

I'll give a tally of the stuff I need in a bit. I know I need just ONE purpure crystal. That's for his archistaff. Then I need to three star his gloves and I think pants, too. Those require agate and argence but can't recall how many.

I'm about to try to fight the ur-dragon for the first time :-s
