I found that out too late. I just assumed he was a dusty old coot, that was on his last legs. Mean, I know, but when challenged with sacrificing a follower, that seemed the most kind choice. Boy, was I wrong.Newschmoo wrote...
Nooooo, not Belrand!
I agree, he is an awesome follower. I love spellswords, my Altmer character is one too, so they married! (I have to confess to using a mod so he looks somewhat different). I haven't come across the Boethiah quest yet though.
Yep, 300 hours in one game. I didn't get quite that far in my others. With 10 playable races, it was a huge fascination for me to make at least one character in each race. I have more Orcs, Khajiit and Bretons than anything else, but they're all represented.I do get far too distracted in that game. As I do in DD:DA. 300 hours, that's amazing! I have clocked up 119 hours so far, longest amount of time I have spent on any game. And I'm only level 65! I think I fartarse around too much.
I hear you about the quests, though. I've played it so much cumulatively that I had a mental order to the quests I accepted and did, and planned them based on where geographically they were located. If you can bunch them together, and kill many birds with one stone (at least the same general area), it's a bonus. And I hoofed it everywhere. (Carriages are for milk-drinkers!) Hehe.
I don't know what the official word is on that, but I do know that if you switch back and forth between characters, and send or receive gifts, it seems to default to rocks. I'd say just allow your new sync some time on the server (at least 24 hours), and you should be good to go.Edit - oh no, gifting rocks is not good. It's a shame that happens. Is it because my save was from my usb stick?
