I might have them, too. I'll look in a little bit.

Edit: Nope, I don't have any. The closest thing I have is either Chimeric Sabatons or Royal Cuisses.

So I decided to do a little experiment with idle animations. My pawns grew concerned after watching their master stand still for several minutes, discussing amongst themselves the fact that she's been acting odd since she put on that monocle.
Posted Image

Everyone I hired tonight (Gabs, Chase, Quintin, Seel, Joe... most got scythed or Fortress of Remembranced) all did the "look both ways". All of them. Shinon, you're a bad influence.

Then Shinon got punted off a cliff by an ogre in the Black Abbey. After that, Quintin started doing the same animation as Shinon's doing here in a pic from forever ago-
Posted Image
Quintin actually did two different ones over the span of a minute or so, he would bend over like he was tired, too.

Googling "dragon's dogma idle animations" resulted in this interesting fact:

"Wild" cyclopes idle animations. If you watch them for a while before attacking them, they might start bunny-hopping/playing hopscotch, complete with resounding booms when they land.

I've never seen that. I've seen them sit down, that's about it.

But yeah, didn't get much accomplished. Gabs had fun.
Posted Image

And here's a typical Shepenwepet Maneater encounter:
Posted Image
Alynna opens the chest, realizes it's a maneater and hangs her head in defeat. Shinon hides behind whatever support pawn is currently around. Neither pawn will unsheathe a weapon, they're content to watch and wait. (Or hide.)

Posted Image
Support pawn #2 will give a shout of "Struggle as best you can" then go about his/her business gathering skulls and absorbent rags.

Posted Image
They draw their weapons to look like they're helping. They run away. Alynna continues to be chewed on. She will either struggle until she dies, or get saved at the last second. I think she got saved here, I don't have a pic of it though.

Poor Alynna! I confess to having gotten munched on twice the other night, and have to admit the pawns rescued me pretty much immediately. Arya first, then Briana I think. What can I say, guess my Arisen is just more loveable *bats eyes* Or maybe he bribes them somehow.

Also, I'm seriously shocked Shinon is not rushing forth to open that chest. He is a chest opening FOOL when he's with me!!!!

p.s. Yep I've seen the cyclops do the bunny hop thing.

p.p.s. Thank you for bringing Seel; no worries, I expect him to get offed a lot  I didn't expect you guys would rent him much; I'm moved :kissing: ILU DD thread!

Anyone else stand by chests in BBI waiting for your pawns to open them?

Lol.

I'm telling you, with Shinon, you don't have to wait around!! :lol:

But I do wait for them to grab the stuff. Inevitably..... they don't. I have to grab it... hit select... move it... sigh.

Okay, just fought some goblins, and Thomas couldn't decide whether to climb up or down the cliff... for the entire fight.

Sigh... pawns. :P

Yeah, I always wish they'd grab the Lordly Tonic and Godly Analeptic, since I can't give it to them, but they never use it when they have it, anyway. *sigh*

And I am going to rest, so Gabs will be a Ranger in the rift.

Those pics are great. I'm going to see if I can get some fun ones. I left off at the Forgotten Hall, but Liftstoned back to check on that gear for Bionuts. Aaand Death had just shown up. Normally, I'd stay and fight him, but he always seems tougher at the beginning of his health for some reason.

Meh, no real snapshots to speak of, tonight. The first run in BBI is kind of dull compared to post-Daimon. And now that the first form is dead, I'll start whooping up Lielle's wardrobe. I've got a metric ton of stuff that needs forged. And a bunch of cursed gear. Santa Claus will be coming to town soon.

On that, I bid you all goodnight.

I'd like to take this moment out to thank Shinon and Gabrielle for getting me through BBI in one piece. Now, onto awakened Daimon.

Love triangles can get ugly. (Gabrielle says, "B*tch pls. Check yo self.")

Checkin himself. Knows he's the sh*t.

Yeah, he did something similar to me once. I was on a wall using one of the archery skills and he kept jumping on the wall, strolling along and then jumping off, and then doing it all again as if nothing was happening. So my Arisen picked him up and hurled him off :D.  Similar thing happened with another pawn when I fought the UR Dragon, when I was on a high ledge firing Hunters Bolt. Kept strolling around me whilst the other two were on the ground battling the dragon! I love them, they amuse me.

Wow! Chase is unlucky in love....poor sod. XD Not only does he lose out to Shinon, but now Joe is in contention for said affections.

Of course, Chase does spend an inordinate amount of time staring at Shinon's "torso", and Woolie's and Quintin's backside. (though the latter ones may be due to extreme height difference. LOL!!) >.>

Arya whispers quietly that she thinks he's cute.

I think she secretly likes to dominate small elf-eared men.

Oh dear! I returned to BBI and enlisted Chase and Quintin. Unfortunately they, along with Thomas got scythed. Death took me by surprise. He is so brutal. Sorry for the three stars!

I have re-enlisted them.

There's a reason for that.

"Those are covered up. These aren't." ;)

Seel says hi!
Posted Image

On my trek up to the cyclops by the river, I found this random pawn being eaten by wolves.
Posted Image
The kicker? I talked to him after - his name was WolfBlade.

This cooperation is incredibly jolly.

And finally, have a poorly-lit hug, DD thread!

I'm currently waiting for Dead Rising 2 to download. My brother and I are trying to get a co-op playthrough done before our golds run out in September. I didn't even realize you could play co-op in Dead Rising 2 - it doesn't make any sense. But oh well, I'm just in it for this.

Wow... I seriously need to teach Seel to smile for the camera :lol: Lighten, buddy! Maybe he's still pissed that I gave his golden bracelet thingies to my Arisen.

Gawd, Chase is a handsome bugger

Speaking of Chase... Hey coldy, do you remember which "male model" you started with to build him? I'm thinking forward to when I can change Seel's face a little, and I realize Chase's look is just perfect. Elfin and beautiful but still masculine. I think Seel's model is too young to start with.

P.S. Wow... just noticed that when I look at Chase's armor, his helmet appears as a question mark. And Chase appears to be helmet-less in my game.

He's wearing a tiara of enlightenment - it's in the Bitterblack Armor Pack you can buy from Olra (240 points). You can also download a free "preview" that lets you see the armor in your game if other pawns are wearing it.

*groans* More money to spend, eh? But thanks ^_^ I wonder if I have some points leftover. I wish I could feel safe purchasing them via xbox... so much easier.

Currently on the look for mage armor besides the crimson robe. But so far, everything in-game (at my low level) is super weak in stats, and I'd feel embarrassed putting him in something that will only get him killed. If anyone has any interesting mage armor they don't want, do pass it along 8D Doesn't have to be BBI or super high level.

LOL! okay, I swear I wasn't "fishing". But, I do love your screenies, @Shepen. And, it is fun to see what you manage to get with everyones pawns....including Chase. ;)

Damn I miss blue sky.....so pretty.....so blue......*blissful smile*

Then back to Ulee's reality. :P
Gray, brown. Some more brown. Puke green? yeah....some of that. Dark. Gray. Blech. *grimace*

@motomoto - I can get you the Character Creator info shortly. Will do so, once I log on. ;)

@moto - It looks like I started his preset body with #4. I ended up making him taller, and added a little muscle mass via changing up the arms and legs. But #4 seems to work well. I initially made him one slide skinnier than the default, but eventually changed it back to the middle. It looked better after I made him a little taller. Besides, he started working out more....Ranger/Warrior stuff....ya know. ;D

As Shepenwepet said, if you go to Orla and choose the Online Store from her menu, you can find a "preview" option to download, that doesn't cost any money. That way, anytime a pawn you hire that is wearing DLC armor, you can view it.

Thanks for the info :D Debating whether I should take the one time change option or wait until post-game to have the option to change my pawn/Aristen at will.

And thanks for the clarification; I'll head over and download that DLC :)
