Grigori defeated :) Lovers reunited :) Pawn's face and body slightly tweaked. All is good in Gransys :)

Congrats! He was easy, wasn't he? Posted Image

I never did make it to BBI last night. I mostly just poked around vanilla Gransys, killing defenseless animals, and completing quests.

Got all of the Wyrm Hunt stuff out of the way, and blew the Chasing Shadows quest. The weird thing is that the quest doesn't show up as cancelled, but now Mason is at the Abbey, and Madeleine is gone. (That's what happens when you rush the MQ).

Either that's sad, or that's awesome, because it means that I could actually get someone other than Madeleine as a squeeze. But who? Apparently I'm down to 3 males and 7 females with max affinity. I can't even remember who they are at this point. This is the type of roulette I'm talking about!

I got the Gold Idol from this little brat, and gave it to Caxton. Now he's all glowy.
Posted Image

I then went to Frontier Caverns and got the Silver Idol, for what it's worth (maybe NG++?).

My god, is Shinon still in that getup? I thought I rested before I quit.

No, now that I think of it, I didn't rest, I think I quit atop Hillfigure Knoll. I'd just found some new-to-me daggers in a gather spot on the tip of the figure's spear. Valor...something. Ah. Here we are.

I have a rather immature epilogue for Material Witness in mind, I may have to pull in some unknown pawns, as I think the only currently active female pawn is Briana.

Feh, I'll just put Shinon in a dress.

^ I've not seen those daggers. I will add that to my to-do list.

Ha - there you go. I wish Gabs was in the rift for that!

We literally only have three female pawns. How crazy is that?! I was thinking about that the other day.

Yeah Grigori was pretty easy :) Of course the pawns did most of the work... I ran around shooting weak sauce arrows that looked like they pretty much just bounced off his skin. Haha xD

I may play some more Seel and Rohan tonight, but soon I will switch back to Arya and Dai. BBI here I come! Happy times.

So here's an oddity. I've been hiring nearly everyone's pawns for the "filming" of this epilogue. My last two hires were Woolie and Briana, and my Arisen godsbaned on the beach in Cassardis...for reasons. When I reloaded, my two support pawns were Quintin and Joe.

Doesn't it autosave when you exit the rift? If not, does it even count my hiring of Woolie and Briana? Do my gifts to Quintin and Joe make it through? Does it count them as being hired twice?

Mostly pointless questions, I know, but... 'tis strange. 'Tis wondrous strange, sers.

^ That is really weird, and I can't say I've ever seen that happen. I hope that doesn't mean that the servers are messed up again..?

I apologize for this one ahead of time. One of these lines popped into my head last night as I was thinking of ways to extend my little story here and it actually made me laugh out loud (I'm a child), so I ran with it.

Perhaps I ran a bit too far. Wait, this is the BSN, what am I saying. This isn't far enough.

I also went in a different direction so I didn't have to put Shinon in a dress...

It's been several days since the trip to Bloodwater Beach. Curious about the rather obvious pink cloud floating around Barnaby's head every time they visit the pawn guild, Alynna's pawns have some questions for her. They head to her house and wake her up.

Posted Image
Shinon: Master, we wish to ask you about the peculiar aura that has appeared o'er Barnaby as of late. Did perhaps -
Seel: Did you frenzy his ogre?
Thomas: Purify his novelty?
Alynna: EXCUSE ME?
Shinon: Did he possess your paw-no, wait, come back to me.
Posted Image
Alynna: I'm leaving. I don't have to listen to this.
Shinon:...hmm... Maneater? There's a joke there somewhere...
Posted Image
Chase: Did he mount your Chimera?
Iorveth: Did you awaken his Daimon?
Shinon: argh, they're using all the good ones!
Alynna: You're all horrible. Move, Chase, I'm heading out.
She heads to her front room.
Posted Image
Quintin: Did he pop your periapt?
Joe: Did he scale it and strike from above?
Alynna: I'm sending you all back to the rift without dinner if you don't stop.

Alynna heads to her door, opening it and finding Woolie and Briana on the steps. They don't seem to be grinning like complete idiots, so that's a plus.
Posted Image
Woolie: Ah, Master. 'Tis a lovely day.
Briana: Care to join us? We were just about to take a walk along the shore to watch the boats arrive.
Alynna breathes a sigh of relief, saying, "Anything to get me away from these horrible man-children."

Alynna, Woolie and Briana walk down to the beach. Alynna is disappointed but not at all surprised to find that Shinon has followed them.
Posted Image
Woolie: Is something troubling you, master?
Briana: Please, let us share your burdens.
Shinon: I have sinew! Wait! Augment...his...
Briana: Shinon, you're really grasping at straws now. You're trying way too hard.
Shinon: ..! Did you grasp his -
Briana: It has to be something relevant to our surroundings.
Posted Image
Alynna: I don't like where this is going.
Woolie: Yeah, something like..."Did you free his imprisoned gorecyclops?"
Briana: "Did you enhance his Anchor to Heaven?"
Alynna: I HATE YOU ALL.

She looks skyward.
Posted Image
Alynna: Ghost Balthier, please banish all these pawns to the rift permanently. They clearly aren't taking this quest seriously. I would also like new pawns, ones who aren't hovering around the mental age of 12.
Posted Image
Ghost Balthier: But first... did his Arisen investigate your Everfall?

Posted Image

The End. Except it probably isn't. ;)

<3 It! And I apologize for Iorveth's lousy attire. We're just now getting into BBI, so it will be a little while before I get him some decent armor. I did just get a couple of things forged, and we're near level 100, so he'll be going the Ranger route soon.

My nephew just got Dark Arisen today, played for about an hour, then went to Minecraft. What the...?

My nephew (who is 1) got a brand-spankin'-new set of toy blocks. He prefers to play with a spoon.

Nephews are like that. ;)

Sounds like my cats. Buy them new toys, and they're more interested in plastic grocery bags, or twist ties. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised.

My nephew is 16, so I expected more. Derp.

Oh, and thanks for the Bone Lantern!

We still have crap for gear, but I just rested with Iorveth as a Ranger at level 100. Hope he doesn't suck, hehe.

Did you rarefy his weapon?
Did you augment his ranger?
Did he dire gouge your weak spot?
Did you take any eyedrops?
Did he watergod your altar?

I'm awful :)

Did you fireblaze his weapon?
Did he commission your roads?
Did you base and trifle his creature?

Did he summon your pawn? Enter your Rift? Distress your Duchess? Bronze your Idol? Magick your Archer? Okay I'm starting to sound like Shinon. And my god, I don't recall making Seel's arms so massive. *off to the edit screen*

@Shepen - where did you pick up the Shed Cape, that Shinon is wearing? I wants... And how the HELL did you get him to look good in the Mercenary Slogs???!!!??? Seriously....I have tried those both on Ulee (my Arisen) and Chase, and they look positively heinous. XD I just can't make them work. But damn if your boy don't look good in them. I did just make Chase taller (trying something out).....maybe I will see if he looks better in them.....

HOLY COW! That is it! It's all about "height". Now that he is taller, they look....good on him. *shrug*

......who knew? :D :D

So, I am going to save with Chase in the Mercenary Slogs....I can't believe they kinda work. Anyway, I like this slightly "Conan-esque" style outfit he is sporting. The only problem is a cape. I just can't seem to find a cape that suits the outfit. The closest I came was the Heresy Cape, but even that seemed.....off. Bah! If anyone has any suggestions, I welcome them. ;)

I haven't seen his outfit, but I'm guessing Nebula Cape. That goes with everything. Posted Image I don't have one yet in this playthrough, but I want one, dang it.

I know what you mean about the Mercenary Slogs. I tried those on Gabs, and bowled over, laughing. However, when I put them on Iorveth, they looked fine. He's been wearing them for about a day, now. Funny thing was that when I hired Shinon yesterday, he had them on, too. And now I hear Chase does! Could we be any more in sync?

Here's the only pic I got last night.

Posted Image

I was shocked and appalled at how lousy I was at being an Assassin with a sword. It seemed fantastic out in vanilla Gransys, but once I tried it out in BBI, yikes! Now that we're up to my level goal, I switched us to Ranger/Magick Archer.

Oh! And I got two pieces of level 3 armor from fighting Daimon. One was the Oblivion Coat, and the other was the Hood of Shadow. I was surprised to get the Oblivion Coat that quickly. That was literally the last thing I needed/wanted/received in my other playthrough.

That particular one I picked up in the well during Deeper Trouble, but you can buy them in Cassardis in Iola's shop.

Clothing loves Shinon. Too bad he hates clothing.

The Heresy Cloak being "off" does not compute over here, but since I can't see Chase at the moment, I'll take your word for it. If you say Conan-esque, perhaps the Feral Cape, or its lighter cousin the Direwolf Cape? And I know it's not a cape, but Leather Belts are always a good choice.
