@moto - I sent Arya with some new blades. Hope it helps!
Thank you!!!!
Just turned the game off though... was supposed to be in bed half an hour ago. But just as I enter that place where you first meet Barroch (sp?), a freaking drake appears. I mean, he looks and acts just like a drake... BUT IT TOOK HALF AN HOUR TO KILL HIM. My fingers hurt ._.
And this is with my Arisen as MA and three ranger pawns. I mean, really.
p.s. I hope Arya can appreciate that her precious Arisen is running around in thigh highs, bangles, and boots so that he can dragonforge them for her.
Yeah, there will always be a dragon (+ hellhounds, gargoyles, etc.) in Duskmoon Tower, once you beat vanilla Daimon. It's my location of choice for dragonforging. If whichever dragon that's in there doesn't forge all of your stuff, drop a Rancid Bait Meat on the ground, in the center of the area, and you'll get a Cursed Dragon. Those are the most reliable for forging, imho.
Sometimes I just go there to get my stuff forged, then head right into the Midnight Helix for the two level 3 chests.
And don't feel too bad. My first Cursed Dragon took me an hour, my first time through BBI. Mostly because it was in the Midnight Helix, and I spent the whole time sniping from the side room, doing a sliver of damage, while my pawns just walked around, all nonchalant. Drakes still take me a while, even with a higher level character, but everything else is cake. It will get better, I promise. Especially once you start focusing on Godsbaning level 3 chests (you'll have the best gear).

I used pawns nearer to my level of 68 (I mean they were still higher than me) and got as far as the flaming room in BBI and a dragon/wyvern showed up, but I didn't make much of an impact, plus I only had one wakestone, so hotfooted it out of there.
I was playing as a level 4 ranger (as trying to max out all the vocations). But really struggled, so went to bed. BBI is soooo challenging and hard. I think I'm going to need a ton of wakestones!
That sounds like The Pilgrim's Gauntlet, and I'm guessing it was a Cursed Dragon that showed up.
I've found that (for me at least), I'm better off not going into BBI without a vocation that's maxed. If it's close, great, but any time I've tried going in with a level 1-4 of something, I feel completely ineffective. The skills and augments for that n00b vocation are crap, and it takes a while to get used to different weapons/skills, etc. for the new vocation.
Plus, it takes forever to level up vocations in BBI. I'd recommend going out into vanilla Gransys and killing a lot of goblins. Or do the Noble Quarter trick (post game), with the perma-spawning soldiers.
I'll send you some Wakestones tonight to help out. I typically carry 4-5 around at any time in BBI, just to be safe. Along with a couple of Lordly Tonics and Auspicious Incenses.
I'd also recommend using higher-level support pawns. BBI is no joke.
