I took the gang there this morning, with some...mixed results. Chase jumped off the bridge - I actually witnessed him doing it, and an Elder Ogre grabbed Iorveth and jumped off. *sigh* I had to go back to the riftstone to get more peeps. This time, I picked up Woolie. Missed that big black cat.
Haven't gotten much for photos, though. Except this one.
Synchronized sniping.

After fighting a Firedrake and a Frostwyrm, we got to the Fallen City. And of course, it's the dual Wyverns and Eliminators, with a side of immediate Cursed Dragon. As of now, all of the Eliminators are dead, as are the Wyverns, and we're getting ready to focus on the CD. I'll get to that later, when I get back online, as the next logical step is mindless Godsbaning. Zzzz...
Have fun, guys! Kick some arse!

Great screenies, and yet another reason for me to covet those elusive Framae Blades. What move is that anyway, that has him positioning the blades in such a matter? The hilt placement couldn't be better.
@happy - I might be able to explain Chase taking a swan dive off the bridge/cliff/whatever. lol! As stated earlier, I didn't play long last night. Just changed Chase's appearance to the Christopher Atkins doppelganger, and I swear something weird happened....I'm drop dead fred serious, he was depressed! XD I tried to motivate him by jumping around, tossing him bunnies and goblins. I also tried every command, multiple times. Finally, I grabbed his scrawny butt, and gave him a toss. He wouldn't fight (okay, in all fairness, I did take away his weapons...lol!), he kept walking away from me, and hovered in between Iorveth and Shinon whenever I tried to get a picture for the concept screenies I was doing. >.<
When we got in a tussle with some goblins, he walked over to a tree, and just started circling it. So sad. So very, very sad.
BTW, I never saved or slept with his altered appearance, so anyone renting him now, won't see any difference.......but he "knows".....oh, yes! He knows. >.> <.<
Will post screenshots shortly.

@motomoto - What skills do you have set up for your Magick bow? Do you have any of the upgrade rings for magick bowman (I think I saw Arya sporting one on her Ranger....would be better suited for your Arisen, since she doesn't have any of those skills)? Do you have any Demon Periapts? Try to bring at least a dozen or so with you. You can stack up to four at a time to dramatically increase your magick power (which boosts your damage output from your Magick Bow).
Whoa---THANKS!! I've never used periapts. I know... I am an idiot! I'm telling you, my brain doesn't think right for an RPG... I miss the freaking obvious stuff! I'm still a noob, haha. Okay I think I have some demon periapts. I usually gift them b/c I noticed you guys seemed to like them... doh LOL
The rings with the special abilities... I never understood those. I'll see what ring Arya's wearing and then give it to my Arisen

Upgrade Rings for MA
---------------------------------
Upgrade from Sixfold Bolt to Ninefold Bolt
Upgrade from Explosive Rivet to Explosive Volley
Upgrade from Magickal Gleam to Magickal Radiance
(these can and will at times be bundled two at a time...for example I have a Ninefold Bolt and Explosive Volley combo ring)
Upgrade from Shadowshackle to Shadowsnare
Upgrade from Immolation to Flameshroud
(these last two are skills relating to your daggers, which you probably already know)
Each of these rings also increase your defensive and I "believe" offensive stats (might be wrong on that last bit), so they are a bonus all around.

Now Sixfold Bolt... isn't that the one that lets you pinpoint multiple locations on the target and fire all at once? I think I already have the upgrade that lets me shoot 9-10 of those. I'm sorry I'm so bad with names in this game. This is the skill that creates about 10 little yellow circles on a target. I use that one the most. It brings a flying creature, like a drake, down with one shot.
I also have Ricochet and the one that is a blue circle. That one brings a hellhound down in one shot.
I notice when a drake falls and rolls over, and I go to pound with it with my daggers... my pounding has little effect on the heart. But if I shoot with my arrow, it does more damage. I wonder why this is?

Great newscast, Shinon!
He says he has to get the word out there. So many people don't even think about these issues. Sure, he gets the occasional creepy stalker, but that's his own damn fault for doing the news shirtless. I mean, that's taking focus away from the actual news. But you know Shinon, he hates clothes.

Advanced Trigger/Toss and Trigger.

The second he shoots out the blast of fire is this, and is the shot I've been looking for for the past week. I got it last night after the server issues cleared up.

When he lowers his right hand, he brings up his left one in a decidedly microphonish fashion. You can see it in the gif, it's pretty quick.

^Here's an outtake from his news report in which a poisoned undead tried to pick him up and eat him. I tried to fit it in the report itself but I was in a bit of a rush this morning.

So obviously I'm still having trouble with firedrakes. Any advice for those?I really want to see what's beyond that room ("Pilgrim's" something...)
If you are a magick archer, sixfold/ninefold bolt. They tear through drakes like a hot knife through butter. And, like Cold said, periapts are rather insane.
And I hate to disappoint you, but the Pilgrim's Gauntlet is a dead end. There's a tablet there for you to get, but that's it.

They don't for me
Tablet? Part of the dragonwing circlet quest?

@motomoto - yeah....some of the new items for BBI were a bit confusing at first. The shot that you were asking about is Hunter Bolt, and that skill uses Holy as its damage element. Very useful skill.
The Sixfold/Ninefold bolt, packs much more punch than the Hunter Bolt though. And since it carries an Ice element with it, it is good against fire type beasts (Drakes, Firedrakes, Hellhounds, Pyresaurians).
As for why your blades don't do as much damage, there are a few reasons this can happen.
1) Your attack(strength) number is not terribly high, and you are using purely physical blades (like the Framae Blades, Helmbarte Daggers, or Dragon's Pain).
2) You only have augments to boost your magick attack, not physical attack.
A few things that can help. If you are using either of the first two blades listed above, since they have high damage output, it might behoove you to add Clout as one of your Augments. (if you are currently using any of the bow related augments - Precision, Damping, Trajectory - on your MA, you can change that out for Clout. Those augments aren't really needed for MA...better used for Ranger/Strider).
If your magick damage is higher than your attack damage, then you could also choose to use elemental blades instead of strength based blades. Just remember, one of the better elemental blades from BBI - Sapfire Daggers - is fire based (also has a debilitation attached to it). Not quite so good on Drakes.

There are rings out there with two skills. I still don't have any of those in this run, aside from Warrior ones which we're not using. Typically, though, when I get the Daggerist rings with two skills, I'll give it to my pawn, then rest (so anyone hiring them gets the benefit of it), then steal it from them, and use it myself.
Just make sure you actually have those skills equipped, or it doesn't do you any good.

I feel like I get the most bang for my buck with these three assigned. I do like a few others, don't get me wrong, and have been known to switch it up from time to time. But these three are a good mix (AND a bit of a bonus: each of these skills has a different elemental damage attached to it. Sixfold/Ninefold = Ice, Hunter Bolt = Holy, and Ricochet = Lightning. That way I generally have something that all the beasties are weak to.

You should still be able to use Hunter Bolt, unless there are already two other "must have" skills. My personal favorites for the three skills I get to set up are: Sixfold/Ninefold Bolt, Hunter Bolt, and Ricochet.

Yep, those are the ones I use, too. Plus Cutting Wind, Hundred Kisses and Immolation for Dagger Skills. Sometimes Shadowshackle. Although I really should try the others. I might be in a rut.

But you know @happy, I think YOU have inspired me. Ever notice how the "Carmine Breeches" look a bit like parachute pants? Now....if only there was some DayGlo. XD
In the early 80's, well, see my previous posts to explore what I was "in" to. But by the mid 80's, it was New Wave/Punk/New Romantic crap. I wore many of my dad's old suits from the late fifties and early sixties. I LIVED at a few local vintage stores. And then there was the hair....oh the hair.
I can't talk about it.

Ha, the hair was so awful. Just...bad. I remember going to the salon, and my parents making me get a "shag". Good lord. Then one time, my mom chopped my hair short (herself, no less), and gave me a home perm. I had a fro like you would not believe. it was just...bad. I should see if I can find any school photos from back then. It's good for a laugh, at least.

I'm not sure... I just know I've come across several armors in my previous game and they had the female symbol beside them, so I was sad I couldn't get them lol Right now Arya has the delta guard and it sucks that I can't forge it. But I don't know if it's worth forging. I notice Briana is wearing is so assume it must have good properties.
