Well jeebus be damn! Vegas sounds nice right now, just for some DRY.HEAT. The PNW is staying true to its character, and, well, raining. Often. Too much. :P

Have a grand time @happy and win some moola. :D

@Shepen - Have to giggle at your attempts at garnering the perfect pics. Now THAT is dedication. heh! :D But the fact is, I think a few of us (myself most definitely included) are a tad jealous at your fantastic snapshots. Work pays off. ;)

@happy - soooo......is Diablo 3 co-op only? I suppose I could look it up. >.<

Whelp, didn't get on to DD like I thought I would. But I have the day off today. Going to try for a few hours perhaps after lunch.

^ No kidding. It's supposed to be in the 90s the whole time we're out there, but with the dry heat, it feels much cooler than it sounds. It's pretty humid where I live, too, so I'm looking forward to good hair days! And hopefully winning some big money!

You can do either sp or coop with Diablo 3. It saves your progress to your gamertag, and you can have multiple characters going at one time, if you want. When you start, you just pick the one you want to play with, and pick up where you left off.

There's a chest in one of the towns where you can stash loot for your other characters, which is really nice. We're constantly picking up stuff for other classes that we can't equip...of course, we've been salvaging that stuff, instead of keeping it. Oops. But the crafting!!!

On my way to kill first form Daimon. Ran into Death in the Forgotten Hall. Shinon "...met wit an accident." XD

For some reason my Arisen is feeling wimpy right now. Not sure what it is, but she just feels weak. I know she really isn't, but like my Ricochet shots at Death didn't look like they were doing anything, my Ninebolt seemed lackluster. Yes, it did damage, but I dunno....it just didn't appear to be much. And I never managed to stun/stagger him. That is usually something I can achieve at least once in a header with Death. Maybe I should just switch back to Ranger. Bah! I'll tough it out till I finish the pre-Daimon stuff.

@motomoto - my hair would look like Gene Wilder's hair in but a few seconds of such high humidity. Yeesh! That's moist. :D

So allow me to geek a bit: I really enjoyed Daimon's little storyline with Olra (sp?). I thought it was sweet. I kinda want to beat the main game over again so I can replay the first run-through of BBI just to see it again. Um...Daimon (the Arisen) is hot. :-)

^ Well, he does seem to be the only person who can pull off the Wavering Cloth armor.

I liked the BBI story. I especially like listening to Barroch speak. He has lots of cool things to say, if you keep talking to him in the respite and refuge. He starts repeating himself eventually, of course.

I wish I could lure Death outside, so I could witness Barroch trouncing on him. But alas, I think Death is afraid. :D

Oh man. I am still unable to beat Death. :-[

I didn't find the end that depressing. I found it rather jarring to hear what looked like my tiny little mage lady shouting "MAHSTAH" in the deepest voice in Gransys, but depressing? Nah.

Your pawn is human now! He has emotions! He can laugh, he can love, he can... grieve for the one person that gave his life purpose! YAY!

Shinon's gonna freak when he loses his abs.

I think I was just a little freaked by the whole reunion scene.

Valmiro: You're back!! <3

Seel: Mm, Oh yeah, I finally get to tap that...

I mean does he ever even tell the poor boy?!??!!?

@MMG - sorry I just saw your post about the humidity levels where you live - 90% Posted Image  I would have to use a vat of hair serum to cope with that!

@Happy - have a good holiday!

Re the ending, I can see why people may think it depressing (I tried all three 'endings', for science).  But I thought it was OK, apart from dealing with a gormless looking Julien!  I loved the book though. That was a lovely touch.

I have to admit I changed my Arisen to a male for NG, but felt I couldn't change my pawn (just changed hair features).  I don't know why.   And just defeated Daimon (first one) - aww really love that story (I have a slight tear)!

Edit - thought I shouldn't put in spoilers!

Yeah, the book was nice. But my main "helper" pawn ended up being Iorveth, not because I used him the most but because I used Gabrielle the most, but Gabrielle was no longer on the server, LOL!

Yeah it's depressing for me because... um, of who dies. (Don't want to spoil.) But yeah. At least there's NG+ and I can pretend it didn't happen.

I can't change my pawns either :) I've finally got Arya the way I like her... I don't see myself changing much more, if anything. I think I tweaked her stance or something.

Same with Seel. I thought I was going to change so much, especially his face. But it's grown on me. I like that he has kind of a manly voice coming out of such a pretty face lol

I haven't had much of a chance to play recently, as most of my free time is being eaten up by youtube. If I may direct you to the bottom link in my sig...

The last time I played, I think it was a few days ago, and I finished the griffin quest. I let it fly to duskmoon tower, but it died before it broke down the door to the top, so now I can't get up there.

I also had a little chat with Miss Aelinore.
Posted Image
"I am going to give you this hat because it's the most ridiculous-looking thing I've ever seen and I hate it. In no way does this mean I have feelings for you."
Posted Image
"Just so we're clear. this staff is charged with massive amounts of dangerous magic, and it is set to explode if little girls tell me they love me. It's an odd enchantment, I'll grant you, but a necessary one in Gransys."

Alynna got arrested after that, but thankfully the nice prison guard let her break out and saunter right by him.

Bang-up job, Ser Whatever.

After that, the boys went and played in the fountain.

Edit: I know you're on vacation, Happy, but you really should keep an eye on your pawns. High Maelstrom can get out of hand.

LOL They look like they're having fun.

I didn't even bother talking to Aelinore my second runthrough. The first time, I was so annoyed with how her voice sounded and how my Arisen was sort of yanked out of my control and forced to flirt with her. And I didn't even go through with the whole conversation; never get her my hat. Blech.

I've never even done all of Madeleine's quest; I think there's one where she goes missing?? But oh well. At least I end up with who I want xD

I didn't even know you could go in that fountain! And during this play through, I am going nowhere near the Duchess' garden!

I have checked out Petticoat Castle. Made me chuckle. Am I guessing you can do this for any DA2 video?

I did so to test a theory. Also, I wasn't sure if you had to talk to her there in order for the Arousing Suspicion quest to pop later.

It also seems that no matter how many times you throw her against a wall (and get arrested) after that hat event, she will continue to be enamored with you.

Any video that has the CC button, yep. Some don't, but if there's a scene in particular you're looking for, there are usually like ten different users that have uploaded it, and at least one will have CC enabled.

Yeah, I like to jump from the central pillar in the fountain to the canopied tops of the merchant booths :D What can I say, my Arisen likes to jump xDDD

There's usually a pouch of coins at the top of the pillar.

Yeah, that's always fun. I haven't played Dragon's Dogma in months, but I vaguely remember trying to stand on the side of the fountain, because I thought I did it accidentally. I failed, miserably.

You can find rocks and money in the fountain.

Well I need some funds so shall be dipping in that fountain soon!

I need to take a break from BBI and from being a Magick Archer and build up my Arisen's strength. I feel some jumping sessions coming on too!

My xbox isn't currently connected to the internet (a minor home renovation became OMG ARCHAIC ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, and I had to relocate my xbox) so I won't be able to play for a few days. Well, I could, but.. no, I can't. Must....share...photos...

I have oodles of spares, though. Our pawns miss us.

waaahhhhh! I__Ulee misses you too, my bubble-headed elf!! That does it; I'm going to play some DD. If I can get the lug on the other couch to give up the remote....bastart.

Okay.....I must admit. I kinda wanna see Shinon's News Update now.....inquiring minds and all that.

Ha, that's great! You gotta look out for those Gingers. Posted Image

I just got back home last night, and I plan to get back into DD a bit this weekend. I've been going through withdrawals like you wouldn't believe.

On a slightly happier note, I got my picture taken with Teller (Penn too, but I look like ET in the pic, so I'm not posting it), after their show. Which was great, btw.

I'm the one on the right. The one on the left is my bff, Lori.
