^ Hehe, thanks.  We had a great time, but good lord, it's gotten expensive. Unless you want fast food, every meal is at least $20, and drinks are outrageous. There are still a few places to get cheap eats and drinks, but not many. Let's just say I had $4 in my pocket when I got home.

I checked in on this thread while I was in Vegas, and was a little sad that it didn't move very much. I should have probably commented, but I didn't have my iPad with me, and it's uber cumbersome trying to view the site on my phone.

Sounds like we all need to shift gears, and get back into DD. Iorveth is probably feeling pretty lonely about now. And we musn't let him feel lonely.

I got sidetracked with work and mod stuff, and Rog really has been hogging the remote. LOL! I am going to try and recruit another player (I know you've been lurking @mnomaha... ), by "making her an offer she can't refuse." (I'm sending her a copy of the game today *wink*)

I need to get a new thumbdrive though. I want to back up my saves, but I also wouldn't mind starting up a new character. I LOVE playing with Ulee and Chase, but I want to make some new toons too. I have never used a thumbdrive so I could have two playthroughs.....any advice?

^ Wish I could help you there. My hubs has one for his 360, but I don't. I just save my other run to the cloud. I really should get one myself. If you find anything awesome, let me know!

That is a good question. I have no idea, but I do have a gold account...so maybe? A thumb drive might be a smarter long-term purchase.

Yeah, you are probably right. Thanks anyway. I used to keep a Gold account, but I never used it for anything (I don't rent movies, play online - with the exception of pawn hiring -, or download full games). Turned into a superfluous cost.

Looking forward to taking on AD again.....and maybe getting those last few BBI items that elude me.

I should be back to DD this weekend. Since my xbox isn't online right now, I decided to start a soon-to-be-abandoned (I'm guessing) playthrough of DA2. I actually like my Hawke's appearance, which never happens unless I use the default.

According to my album, I have 1022 pictures. I can't imagine how many hours I've sat with this game and done NOTHING productive. If DD2 ever comes out, I hope they keep this feature. And that they have truckloads of armor with unique appearances to sift through.

I'm easy to please.

^^Oh a world of THIS. The massive selection of armor, clothing and weaponry alone, can keep me preoccupied for more hours than I should ever admit to. Add in an extensive Character Creator, and I am sold.

I think my goal for this weekend is finding some interesting armor combos (look wise, since many of the high stat items look "Fridiculous". Before DD:DA came out, I found some interesting combos with pre-dragon items, and Everfall pieces. It goes without saying; must snap some pictures.

We should also have a new player to torture___err, play with soon. She should receive the game on Saturday (if Priority Mail, is anything to go by). Of course, she has also been wrapped up playing some sort of FF MMO....hopefully the beckoning of a new CC to play in, will entice her.

@Shep - thanks! And no, no big winnings to speak of. I did ok the first couple of days, but after that, I couldn't win to save my life. The gambling bug has been squashed, for now. Hopefully it will be a good, long while before it comes back, because I'd rather go shopping than fatten someone else's pockets.

Wow, DA2? Admittedly, I did 9 playthroughs of that, but stopped after the disc stopped working. And after I decided it was not as satisfying as I'd convinced myself it was. Default FemHawke was super cute. I wish you could have used her look, and tweaked it. Or if you could mimic it, I never took the time to figure out how.

Tonight is Project Runway, and probably more Diablo 3, but I'm putting my foot down for DD this weekend.

@coldy - did you send your friend DD:DA? Hopefully she'll make a female pawn. We need more of those. How exciting! Be sure to tell her about picking people up and throwing them. That's always good for a laugh. Well, unless you wind up in jail. But that can still be fun.

@happy - Glad you had fun, even if your wallet was a tad lighter. As for my friend.....yup! Sent her DD:DA. She has lurked here, but hasn't posted, since she doesn't have the game yet.

Wait....Project Runway is tonight? Bugger! lol! Oh well. I will pick it up on repeat. Series finale of Burn Notice tonight for us. Though, I'm looking at Rog, and he looks like he is about to fall asleep.

What's her GT? I just got a FR tonight from someone I don't know, and accepted it. Probably not her, now that I'm thinking of it. This person has DD:DA, too. Ahh, well. Maybe they used Iorveth or something.

I just cleared the Fallen City, and am contemplating taking on AD. I suppose I should, since I'm here. I'll figure it out once I'm done Godsbaning. Two chests down, one to go.

Edit: just fought AD. He started doing the Vortex of Doom, and all of my pawns were caught in it. I somehow staggered him myself, and we finished him off. Nice haul - I got two Vile Wakestones and a Claw, and when I opened the three chests, I got a level 3 armor, level 3 weapon, and level 3 gear, first try. It must have been meant to be.

However, I just fought 3 dragons, and nothing was Dragonforged. What the..?

Woot! On the AD stuff. That is a fantastic haul!!  Regardeing the mysterious gamertag that friended you....I think you made a new friend. XD As for my friend, I don't know her tag right now either (she only recently got an Xbox. Usually a PC gamer). I have no doubt she will jump in here once she gets the game. She's a long time BSNer.

Don't ya just love remote control....control?!?!

Damnable dragon's not DFing your gear....I say make them respawn and woops their asses again. XD

Exactly. Also, the Ur Dragon is nearly dead. I gave him a couple of go's, and got him on the ground somehow, but didn't finish him off. Hopefully I'll get something good out of it. I'm going to bed, so I'll have to remember to check tomorrow.

I haven't played DD for a few days as I have been going through Assassin' Creed (I like the look of AC4 - I want to play a pirate and sail ships)! But I am tempted to start a new game with a new pawn and I then switch between games. Only because it's fun in the CC!

Thanks! I missed you guys! P&T were great. I highly recommend them. It was a decently long show, too - just under two hours.

You will love the naval battles in AC3, then. Those were my favorite part of the game. Well, and I loved the underground portions. (I have a crazy fascination with finding every thing that pops up on the map). I loved the villa in AC2, that you got to decorate, too.

Dang it, that kinda makes me want to play again! Hidden blades ftw!

Did Teller speak to you? He's not the most talkative person, I don't think I have heard him speak!

I was given an AC Anthology as a present. So my aim is to play all of them ... goodness knows how long that will take me (probably forever). Looking forward to playing AC2 as it's in Italy and that really appeals to me, plus someone said it has a better story. And having a villa ... I like the sound of that!
I already have a sore thumb from running a lot and doing too much combat (I feel the need to save every citizen in peril in the game)!

But tonight is DD. I'm going back to Gransys, to build up a bit of strength (and jump in fountains)!

^ Yep, Teller did speak to us after the show. He didn't say a whole lot, as there were still a bunch of people waiting to get their pictures taken with him, but he was super friendly. He seems like a really happy person, which is refreshing. We watched him for a little bit, and it looked like he genuinely enjoys interacting with fans. Penn was nice, but he seemed to enjoy the interaction a little less.

You are going to be BUSY! I can't imagine carving out that much time to play each game back-to-back. You will love AC2, though. The Italy portions are gorgeous. But really, all of it is gorgeous. Even the US in AC3.

That will be tough, methinks. Honestly, the Share feature has spoiled me on just about every other game out there. Even playing Diablo 3, I was trying to do the same thing as you. I half entertained grabbing my phone or camera to snap a shot, but that just seems kinda lame.

@happy - I love hostas....sorry you lost one. My sister has a grouping of them in part of her landscape, that I just love. My one an only hosta died a few years back. Never really figured out why. But then, I don't have the best setup for gardening anyway. With the exception of the well established camellias (two different varieties), and azaleas, the only other things that have managed to grow in our setup are ferns and ivy (and the latter, I do NOT want. lol!)

So I grabbed some shots from the other night, but I need to get to my desktop in order to load them. Still haven't heard from my friend yet, if she received the package (she is two hours ahead of me so I would have suspected she might have received it by now.....if they came today, that is.). Yeah, I was a little bummed. It was one I planted last year, so I figured it was a keeper, but I'd miscalculated how much sun it would get where it's at. Strangely enough, my new ones from this spring are fine. I got all different varieties, so I might put one there that's more hardy. My others are getting big. I also have lilies. We live in a condo, so I don't have many places where I can plant stuff.

So this morning, I got up to feed our male cat, who'd spent an hour trying to get me up, and started up the Xbox...instead of playing DD, I started a sp run with a new female Monk character in Diablo 3. And holy crap, it was fun. I feel so guilty!

lol! Don't feel guilty, woman. Have fun! I am still considering Diablo, but I may wait until fall/winter really sets in, and I just want to curl up on the couch in a blanket during stormy evenings, and play.

My setup sounds similar to yours, so the lack of growing space is problematic.

Hrmm.....well, still no word from her, so either she didn't get the package, got busy with other things, or is caught up in a questing round in the MMO she plays. lol!

No matter, going to go play some now.....weeeeee!

Okay, just a heads up....if it even means anything. lol! The dragonforging right now seems to be stellar! I had on 6 items that were not DF (in fact 3 of them were only upgraded by one tier). I head into Duskmoon Tower, and get a drake (two items forged), then a Cursed dragon shows up (3 items forged). Make like I am going to the Midnight Helix, run into Spectres (Ulee is set as a Ranger right now), and I have no magic users, so I leave. As soon as I get back into the Duskmoon Tower....ANOTHER CD!! Last item that needed to be forged...done!

Going to grab some more items to be forged, and switch to MK (for the hell of it...). Think I may need to take a run at AD too.

Got a few really lucky screenshots....will eventually post. LOL! It sucks that FB crashes my crappy laptop. My desktop isn't quite as conveniently located.
