Next week? Aw.,, This sucks. If only they released it a month ago
I've got the game pre-ordered myself. I think I went with Amazon. Either them or Gamestop. I'll be overseas when the game comes out and I get my system shipped to me.

android654: Thanks. Do you take characte requests? I already know what I'm going for, I just want to see how it looks.
The masculinity slider for the body is all well and good, but I notice it doesn't affect the legs. So I'm also wondering if there's a separate slider for the legs.

Sure I can do that for you, just drop me a PM and let me know what you'd like to see. I'm on a console though, so picture quality may not be great. Either way I can totally do that for you. I noticed that about the legs too. It may be because they were using a demo copy or it's under a different tab in the character creator. Either way I'll test it on both the ps3 and the 360 to decide which is better gameplay wise. Personally I'd side with the PS3 if it's an option because of the free online for pawn trading and I've always had the suspicion that PS3's online community is bigger thant XBL.

Well, supposedly on the Xbox it's not limited to Gold subscribers. If true, then I honestly don't think it matters. I still pre-ordered the PS3 version before I heard about it though. Didn't want to take any chances. Also, I believe that is true because on Dark Souls, I hardly ran into the same people. But on Xbox, I run into the same people on Gears of War 3 I ran into while playing Gears of War 2. Now I don't have a subscription and don't plan on another one any time soon.
I will send you a PM definitely, thank you. ^^

Even with all the bad rep that Capcom has, I can't wait for this game. This post makes me want to pre-order it, but I will still wait for the demo before I decide to pre-order/buy on day one.Elton John is dead wrote...
Good preview here:

"It has a great sense of humour too. For all its Western stylings, there's still plenty of the quirk and insanity that defines Japanese games. You can pick up any NPC, including your own pawns, and toss them. A specific type of enemy goes into a wild frenzy whenever it sees a female character. In one mission you have to dress your male pawns (and yourself if you're a guy) in ladies' clothes to infiltrate a camp of all-lady bandits.
But it's the challenge that makes Dragon's Dogma special. It's an incredibly ruthless game, and never tells you if an area, enemy, or quest, is too tough for you: you have to find out for yourself, which usually ends in an unceremonious death. There's a great satisfaction in getting utterly trounced by a boss, only to return when you're a few levels stronger and totally destroy it."
