lol! Poor newschmoo...bad ole Maneater! Yeah, BBI gets a tad tougher post Daimon. A great way to get used to it is stick with the Garden of Ignominy, Duskmoon Tower, and Midnight Helix. It gives you a good array of baddies, without completely overwhelming you. Plus, the Midnight Helix now offers you two chests to Godsbane for lvl.3 Armor. Sweeeet.

Noooooo.....don't change Thomas. I Tom-Tom the way he is. (actualy, your pawn...do as YOU choose. )

Ahhh, the blonde with the eye patch is Aegon. That is my friend Julia's Pawn (total life saver.....I used him when I was still trying to learn the ropes). Julia is also a BSNer (from the old Thane threads). He is Infinity level, and you are right! He DOES kind of look like Kurt Russell in his younger years. XD

It's been a good night for screenies here at the House of Shepenwepet... and I have a question for all of you. A bit odd, but... let's call it... research.

Your pawns. All of them, should you have more than one. If you had to describe them in one word, what would it be? Feel free to use several words, or even paragraphs. In fact, write as much as you like. Inclusion of quirks (like Chase's Handyman phase) would be quite helpful. Likes and dislikes, silly things like that. I have my own interpretations of how each pawn acts (trust me, they're all different) but I'd like a little insight from those who know them best, their masters.

I'd like to do a little photo project thingy for each pawn, I've got some really nice shots that are just sitting in my album. My photobucket bandwidth is hitting the 90-range again, (it's always when I want to do something big) so I might just hold off and collect stuff until the 11th, or switch to flickr.

Anyways, I've got Valkyrie and Iorveth with me. They can't keep their hands off each other. It's crazy.

@Coldy - You're right, I won't change Thomas, I will leave him wallowing in his masculinity! I am tempted to have a female pawn, so I think I might try creating a new pawn soon as I have a spare USB stick.

Thanks for the advice re BBI, I will stick to those areas, as I think I need to build up those levels. I did the Garden of Ignominy again and remembered to save after killing the Garms. My Arisen did die by maneater again (!) but this time I had additional wakestones (yay)!

And your friend's pawn Aegon, I do like the look of him!    Really must go to sleep!

Let's see...Gabs. I'd describe her as sweet, first and foremost. I love it when she needs revived, and says, 'I was clumsy'. Or after a fight when she says, 'Phew'. The funniest times were when she was a Mage, and she'd exclaim, 'I'll scale it, and strike from above!' And sure enough, she'd climb on whatever beastie we were fighting, and would attempt to knock its teeth out with her staff. Oh, Gabs. And the love triangle...can't forget that.

And Iorveth. Initially, before his makeover, I would have just called him a cheesy dork, but now I just adore him. As Coldi once said, he's dignified, somehow. He has the same voice as Woolie, but seems to have a bit more talkative personality. Although as of late, he seems more protective of my Arisen, Selene, with Chase around. Those two are always trying to knock each other off walls. Last night, Chase got the better of him in the Fallen City. As of right now, he's still in the rift, as I haven't made it over to AD's door. Godsbaning is taking forever...

Woo! chase just picked up the level 3 weapon, so it's time to take out some Living Armor, and see if AD gives me some more level 3 stuff. I still don't have any Oblivion Gauntlets. <_<

@mnomaha - Oh lordy, Shell! You have a man-hunk-a-dunk of an Arisen! (k....don't ask where I got THAT saying from....*shrug* O.O ) XD Love it....gave Val a new hat, but have other things I am trying to enhance for you (guess I got a little shy of a few upgrade materials that I haven't bothered to collect in like......forever! HA!). I will release her and pick her up again to give her more stuff. I think I miss all my one legged, no hair Barbies of my sisters, from when I was growing up. ya know...dress up, and all that jazz. ;D

@Shepenwepet - Ahh crap. Did you have to ask such an in depth question when I just polished off some wine?? FINE......the bottle. Wuteva. (happy, Shell?? XD ) I really do want to answer the question, but I think it needs sleep...and then coffee, juice, water, and bacon in the morning. XD

Val did an awesome job helping me defeat the giant evil eye  Sent her back home all kitted out. Gave her some lady gear since my Arisen and pawn are both dudes

Oh, pawn personalities. Let's see. Arya is very shy. She's soft-spoken. Except in battle... she's all warrior; she gets really into a fight and can battle cry with the best of 'em. She's really proud of her abilities and isn't afraid to get dirty. However, secretly she admires a "softer" lady pawn like Gabrielle. She would like to wear sexier clothes but is too embarrassed to admit this. She has a super secret don't-tell-anyone crush on Chase. She wants to touch his ears. Shinon kind of gets on her nerves. Joe scares her.

Seel is a magic-user at heart, but he finds being an archer very diverting. He likes his armor to match. He will spend hours trying on different circlets and seeing which one brings out the silver in his "magic" eye. He's lethal on the battlefield (or will be, once he levels up a bit more ) and is quite cheerful about killing all manner of beasties. He says he would do any of the other pawns. He had his eye on Gabrielle until she disappeared; this despite the fact that she's way taller than him and could totally crush him. You might catch him standing a little too close to Shinon, or softly stroking Thomas's arm. He's had his eye on Woolie lately as well. Seriously, he has his eye on everyone. Naughty little mage, this one.

^ Me too.  Glad Iorveth is getting some love. He might be getting sent back to the rift in a couple of days, so Gabs can come out to play. Hint-hint.

@mnomaha - I just sent Valkyrie back with some gear - a Dragonleather Vest, a couple of rings...well, everything pretty much, although I don't have much gear for her class with this character. Give me a couple of days, and I'll have a ton.

@Shep - Thanks for the scale; I sent one back with Shinon. I'm waiting to switch chars, until you get it. BTW, I like his new digs!

For some reason, my AD fight tonight was riddled with blunders. I must be out of practice. I actually had to use a couple of wakestones.

When I went to purify our gear, I'd forgotten that this was the first AD kill since NG+, so I got the Savior Ring. Unfortunately, all of it was crap I already had and didn't want, and it was all low level 3. But that stupid quest completion auto-saved, so my Godsbaning was in vain. Swizzlesticks.

And on that note, I'm going to bed. Have a good night, all!

Oh, almost forgot - we bumped into Shinon wandering about Gran Soren.

Okay, Chase in a nutshell (I had cranberry juice...quite sobering. And tart.): He is definitely that weird kid who is constantly vying for attention. Similar to what a younger sibling goes through with a well achieved older brother/sister. He falls in love (or crushes) easily. And since he usually comes in second behind someone much more dashing, smooth, tall.....he generally doesn't stand a chance. He is good looking, but hasn't much of a clue. Though he loves to emulate Shinon and Iorveth (and those two "strut"....lol!!).

He pines for Gabs, but also crushes on Shinon. Though, he is jealous of how much Ulee "admires" Woolie. He adores Arya (though she intimidates him a tad), and hasn't a cell in his brain when it comes to those that actually like him....stupid sod. XD Joe and Tsarisuta are a mystery to him (he kind of likes that...lol), while Briana is the big sister he never had.......cuz he's a pawn. duh. XP

But most of all, he is joined at the hip to Ulee. They fight, then hug.....joke, drink, then cry like besotted morons....kiss and snuggle, then swat at each other like two prissy little girls. They ARE each other's---other half.

Thomas is all the Cs - conservative, caring (particularly for my Arisen) and a bit of a chatterbox. He can also be a bit too confident after combat.

He is a bit of a prude and although he has a set of mighty fine pecs and abs, he doesn't like to show them off, because he's worried he'll get a chill! The thought of wearing something like laced leggings appalls him. I would be tempted to put him in something like Fine Cassardi Hosen, but he would walk around squirming, shielding himself. But secretly he wishes he could be more like the other pawns and have a bit more flair!

Aww, brings a tear to my eye. They're kind of like an alternate reality version of the Targaryens (where the brother is actually not a huge douche).



Chase is, admittedly, a permanent part of my party. He's just so freaking cute, I could hug him. He's kinda like the uber cuddly, super sweet, respectful version of Shinon. (Dat voice). Hehe.

Speaking of Briana, after Shinon took a swim, I recruited Briana. I hadn't had her in the party for a while, and I missed her voice. She's very much like a big sister. When she speaks, she has the wisdom of ages in her voice. I think I remember someone saying they thought she sounded cheeky (or snarky or something?), but I've never heard it that way. To me, it's something else entirely. Regardless, it's nice to have a different voice in the mix once in a while. I notice Valkyrie is using the same voice, actually.

That would be me, and that's probably because her ******. voice sounds very different from her Eng. voice lol For me, she sounds quite snarky, but yet indeed very wise. And the way her lips curve up into that smile adds to her charm.

@motomoto - I think I second your request to see Thomas in Cassardis' finest digs. And it looks like Arya finally got up the nerve to just take what she wanted. Sweet little thing.

Okay!! I'm on a new screenshot kick. It started when I tried a version of Monty Python's Ministry of "Putting things, on top of other things.".........it wasn't working so well. The "Things" in question, were not cooperating in the slightest *grumble*. So, it has now turned into a sort of Mutual of Gransys nature show. Basically Ulee (and any pawn she can make cooperate), holding the fauna of Gransys. I imagine a running commentary from Shinon (he has the microphone skills to pull it off).

Just like Shepen encouraged to post pics of face #47, I would love to see anyone elses snapshots of their Arisens holding wildlife (or enemies...those work to. They got a pulse, don't they? lol!). This could also give everyone a chance to really see each others Arisens. I'm not entirely sure what some others' Arisens look like. I have seen a snap or two from some, but the only two I really recognize, are @Shepenwepet and @happydaiz. Oh, and @mnomaha, but mostly because her first picture is on this very page. LOL!

I thought I was the only one who loved picking up wildlife!! xD You have to be careful when putting them down though; if you throw rabbits and snakes, they die And if you throw a deer or something, it might get mad and bite you, and then your pawns will slaughter it LOL

My current Arisen, I kind of had this thing where I tried to make him look exactly like Seel, you know, because of how a pawn is supposed to resemble his/her Arisen... so he's not very interesting. Dai, my original Arisen (Arya's Arisen) I feel much closer to. I have to get some shots of him holding a wild pig... he loves playing toss-the-pig with the pawns.

p.s. I still haven't picked up a bird. It's my life's goal.

I have pics of my Arisen throwing mice/rats, spiders, boar, deer, snakes, you name it. Good times. 

I'm at the hospital right now, so I'm not sure how easily I can find and post pics of them on my iPad. If you're curious, my mom is getting a double mastectomy + reconstruction, while we speak. They literally just started, so it's going to be a long day for me.

I will probably be parked here as long as my battery lasts. I forgot my charge cable. :-/ At least there's free wifi.

@Happy - Hope the operation goes really smoothly and that your mum feels better soon. It's amazing what they can do these days.

My Arisen has only picked up a bunny in the past, cause they're so cute. Never picked up a pig or deer though, I didn't think you could! I doubt you could pick up a cow. Just thought that now BBI is post Daimon, all the deer will be gone *sniff*

I don't think Thomas will be happy with me if I put him in the Cassardi Hosen, but I could try (oh the horror!)
