Well, until I pick her up again at the Rift Stone in the Midnight Helix, that is.
I was all pinkies with Death tonight. I don't know what was wrong with me. I finally switched back to MA, after a stint as Sorcerer, and I guess I started to get used to it. I was pushing every button wrong.
Bah. Still, with periapts, and handful of lucky shots, I "some" damage to him. lol!
Was going to go back and swing on the Ur-Dragon a bit more, but got sidetracked earlier with actual quests. I have been popping into the online Ur-Dragon every now and again over the past few days. I need to take some more screenies of Ulee holding fauna.....that's always...umm..stupid. XD

I made Seel shorter again; the tall thing just was not working for him. Dragonforged all his sorcerer gear, so he's pretty powerful for a nearly-level-70 pawn!! I'm playing as a warrior now... which is weird, but kind of fun. Once I get all the necessary augments, it'll be Seel's turn. But he'll return to sorcerer or ranger in the Rift.... I won't let him wander around as a level 3 warrior or anything xD
I've got Joe now. That guy's vicious! Me and him just run around Gransys thwacking stuff. It's pretty awesome.

Ah. Yeah, I had assumed it was internet/computer troubles. Good to see you, though! Hopefully you get the chance to pop in here occasionally.

Shinon looks almost happy here. Let's fix that by putting him in the silliest outfit possible.

There's that glower I'm used to.

And no way, that outfit is rockin' lol Not silly at all. Why can't I find/purify cool outfits?!??

Love the group photo!
Anyway, a strange thing happened the other night. Both Thomas and Chase have been acting like schoolboys playing truant. They have been running off together, either way ahead or behind my Arisen and not coming back even when called! If it wasn't for Val, my Arisen would have been Billy no Mates!
Evidence -
You can just about see them under the trees ahead

This was taken at night time, you can just about see their lanterns in the distance (arrows to illustrate) - they were almost half way back to Gran Soren!

Those pawns eh!
Also went to the Eurogamer Expo in London yesterday - was good, apart from the extraordinary long queues to play some games, so didn't get a chance to play that many. It felt like PS3 and 4 had taken over a big chunk of the event compared to Xbox, so I didn't really get a chance to play a game on the Xbox One :-( AC4 is really good fun (although I had to play using a PS controller, so didn't have a clue what I was doing). This also looked really good -

It is funny how pawns will sometimes do that even when their Inclination isn't set to Pioneer or Acquisitor.
lol *shrug*
BTW, Valkerie is doing really well with Warrior right now. She did a lot of damage on two Living Armors, down in the Catacombs, and according to her status (and her comments while down there) she hadn't been there yet. I had given her Dwells-in-Light (Ur-Dragon drop), so that gave her a good edge. But the fact is, she caught on real quick with what the boys were saying ("Strike at if from behind!). So she would charge up one of her skills after she maneuvered behind them, and would go to town. Woot!
I am back in BBI now, and will do some godsbaning later today/tonight. I'll pick up Seel to gift him a lvl.3 Armor, @motomoto. Right now though, I have to do mod testing.
@Shepen - how much "dawwww" can one handle over that group photo. And yes....they most certainly ARE team sexy.
@happy - I know that you are playing Skyrim.......traitor!
LOL!
Hope you are having fun, and just know that your gal Gabs is getting some good action right now.
(okay, that sounds pervy....meh.

I think I miss Arya, whose face I've been mostly happy with, although I still get the urge to change her hair sometimes *shakes head* It's easier to be happy with a female face because you can use make-up; well, not that you can't use make-up on a male pawn, but it doesn't work for Seel. So I stare at his face and it looks so bland, all one color. Maybe he should stop traveling with female pawns? But then Chase has that awesome face paint. I need Thomas with his cool hat shading his entire face >.>

Love the screenies, especially the group shot.
And no worries about Gabs dying. I should be the one apologizing for her bad behavior. We'll have a talk when I get back to DD. Glad to hear she's getting some use!

I picked up mage Seel. He's really liking the goblin roast we just had. Too funny!
I'm glad Val is getting some healthy experience and is being helpful. Just out of curiosity, are there not many female pawns out there?

There are three. Briana, Gabs, and Arya (mine... who is not available now because I'm using Seel). So Val makes 4
Seel loves roasting goblins!! He is fond of death and destruction in all its forms. Don't let the pretty face and perfect hair fool you.

I always make my pawns the opposite gender of what I am playing (which is slightly unfortunate when it comes to female only armor...lol!). I played a male Arisen last time, with a female blonde elf (who looked quite a bit like Ulee...well, her first incarnation, that is). When I made Ulee (my current Arisen), Chase looked like a manly (and tall) pirate. XD I then got the idea to try and recreate Fenris. After a while, I just started to alter his appearance, till he ended up with what you see now. Most everybody here has only seen him with his current look (or the occasional "joke" look I make him sport for a bit).
Would still love to see some closer shots of everyone's Arisens.

How do you guys stay satisfied with your pawn's or even Arisen's looks?
I don't.
I find myself opening the CC every time I turn the game on.
Me too. Mostly just for Alynna, though. Since she isn't based on anyone to begin with, I have a lot more freedom.

That's her current look, but she was once all of these (plus many, many more):

She also had three sex changes (becoming Shinon, Barnaby and a creepy gollum pawn from Gran Soren) and face 47.
Shinon is Shinon, I've tried changing what little I can, like his eyes and... well, that's about all I can change, as most of the mouths look like they have gigantic fishlips when put on his tiny little face.
He also had a Barnaby phase, although he didn't quite put in the effort Alynna did.

He wore the glasses because he wanted to look "more intelligenter."

Shinon is everyone's favorite airhead. How can an expressionless pawn in a game that sucks at characterization be SO DAMNED PRECIOUS?!

I was about to suggest that! I almost took a shot last night of Rohan (changed his name back to Rohan) and Seel. But Seel's face looked funny, so I didn't take the shot. But I will snap a pic of Rohan tonight (who's also gone back to his old look, and I think he will be keeping it.)
And then I will switch to Arya briefly to take a pic of my precious Dai-Dai <3
I have this love for young characters, so both my Arisen's look about 17. I like the pawns to look older though... last night I almost gave Seel some stubble lol

She looked like that during Shinon's brief fat phase, before he joined the YMCA.

To quote The Simpsons, "No matter how good a movie is, it can't compare to the imagination of a small boy."
Now, just take "movie" and replace it with "game", then take "a small boy" and replace that with "grown-ass women."

GDI You never cease to make me literally LOL. My cat is looking at me like I'm nuts!
I was so happy to learn I wasn't the only one who invented deep personalities for my emotionless pawns lol And was shocked at how close I was to being correct! i.e. Chase being a cute jokester, and so on.

And Selene (an unfortunate name choice, but she was my first Arisen) has changed a lot.

Iorveth looks way different than he did in the beginning, but I don't seem to have any shots of either of them from way back then. I must not have been super proud. Boo.

It is odd, because Thomas is a Challenger/scather (or maybe it's the other way round), but I found it v amusing!
@MMG I always like tweaking my Arisen/Thomas. Never truly satisfied, plus I love character creators. I am really itching to create a new one though.
Ps, give Seel some stubble!
