Now that I have changed my Arisen for the umpteenth time......I feel the need to do it again. And frankly, I am going for something wholly unique to me...I think it's time. >.> <.<
With all this Assassin talk, I think I may switch to that for a bit. I miss it.

It has some pretty cool augments tbh. Like receiving less damage with your weapons drawn or at night. (Or something to that nature.) I should use more of those. But I'm still using your augment cheatsheet

Don't get me wrong, it's still a boost, but it seems like they could have found a happier medium between 70 and 20. Afterall, you have a finite amount of slots, and an augment that is only effective at night, might not be worth taking up a slot, unless the numbers truly encourage you to do so. You could compare it to Opportunism, since you have to cling to an enemy and attack, to gain the bonus. But, if that is part of your play style, than it would be worth it. You still gain the attack bonus regardless of whether it is day or night.
Part of my complaint though, also has to do with my favored play style for Assassin (the bow with single long blade). BBI just doesn't seem as well suited for using that play style. You can do it, of course, and better players than me, probably do quite well. But what I found, is fighting with certain groups of enemies, and attempting to utilizing certain tactics, I felt more "gimped" with Assassin, in BBI.
I recognize my own limitations with the class, in BBI, so I should probably just shuddup about it. LOL! I definitely am going to switch to it....even if I do suck. XD

I meant to check Gabs last night to see if she was using Toss and Trigger, and didn't do it. I got sucked into Skyrim. The hubs had to work late, so I took advantage of the opportunity to hog the big tv all night.

And kudos on getting the big tv for an evening.

I don't think you can enchant weapons... they come pre-enchanted. OR you can have a sorcerer pawn enchant it for you during battle. Which Seel could do, if he were still a sorcerer, but he's not

Yep, you need a mage or a sorcerer with the skill Thunder Boon (or -Affinity, or -Pact.)
We don't have many mages here, do we? Everyone's a ranger or a strider...

Hiding from them, or being sheepish won't get you anywhere. (Trust me, I know - my first CD fight took over an hour).mnomaha wrote...
I never want to see another cursed dragon. Ever. That's not how it works though, is it? Great that he dragonforged pretty much everything, but geez. Val didn't do so well, had to revive her several times. However, Chase and Shinon were happily blasting it with arrows and melee when it was down.

You have to run up and grab it (climb onto it), right where its heart is, and Hundred/Thousand Kiss it to death. You'll find that they're actually quite easy after you've fought a couple, and get used to their attacks. Hitting them in the heart, up close and personal, is the best strategy, along with having your blades enchanted.
Just make sure you have a way to restore stamina (mushrooms, Liquid Vim, etc.), as you'll burn it quickly while you're hanging on, whaling away.

The problem with this is if your Arisen is low level or has low health... one chomp from the CD can kill you! The camera is such, too, that finding the heart once you're actually hanging onto the CD (or any dragon) is very difficult.

Quoting myself to say, if you would like for me to put Seel back as sorcerer (with Thunder Boon), then I can

Or one tail swipe, or one... anything. I'm level 200, my arisen can only take one hit (maybe two on a good day) from a CD thanks to her fragility. She stays away and pelts it with ninefold until it falls, then tosses an explosive volley at its heart when down. She'll run in and trigger the explosion, then run away. Rinse, repeat. Takes about a couple minutes.
The camera is such, too, that finding the heart once you're actually hanging onto the CD (or any dragon) is very difficult.
This is precisely the reason I never climb on things. Well, that and it fixes the camera when you try to take screenshots. And my physical attack is paltry. There's that too.

Although I've had fights in the past where I've gotten pwned something fierce, and really shouldn't have. For instance, last week I think? When I kept getting pwned by AD?
When I was still playing every night, I got to the point where I could kill him somewhat easily, without even busting out very many potions or periapts. That last time, it was a comedy of errors, and more wakestones than I could believe.
As for climbing on stuff, I haven't had much trouble with the camera angles (unless you count trying to snap photos - those rarely work how I'd like them to). But the Ur Dragon. That one is guaranteed to be ridiculous with the camera angles. It's difficult to see anyway, with the weird lighting and trippiness; then add the huge body, and the game's inability to scale or zoom correctly while you're on it, and yikes.
But back to CDs and the like; if you can hear the sound it makes while hitting the heart, you know you're where you need to be. That's enough for me, but it's completely possible that I've simply gotten used to, and accepted it. I hope if they make a second DD, that they'll put some effort into making that easier/better.

Someday.
Right now I'm trying to come up with a logo for the Gransys News Network. I'm thinking just a "GNN" with a Ferrystone or something next to it. Except I can't find a good picture of one on Google search. Maybe a Jewel of Health, that kinda looks like a globe...

As for wanting a Sorcerer, well it just so happens, I am about to switch Chase to Sorcerer. I wasn't going to upload his magick butt to the rift (that way everyone who wants to use him, would still get Ranger Chase....*is that like Ranger Rick, but different?* XD ). BUT, I have no problem uploading him as a Sorcerer. I will gladly put both ThunderAffinity and Holy Affinity (which will allow him to enchant your weapons) in his skill set.
Speaking of dying or coming close to; I couldn't figure out why I was getting so beat up lately myself. Well, how stupid am I. I have been trying to get lower level gear dragonforged, and my defensive numbers took a dramatic hit. >.< Yup. I got dumbs. XP
I am now going back and forth between DFing and fighting the online Ur_Dragon. Just felt like it...it's been a while.

One of these days I'll make a physically strong character who doesn't die if something sneezes in her direction.
Someday.
That's kind of what I had in mind when I made Seel's Arisen, Rohan. He may look like a pretty FF boy, but he's strong, and he's consistently been assassin and ranger all the way through. I think once he's level 100+ hitching a ride on dragons won't be too hard.
Dai, my first Arisen, weighs about 90 lbs and is magick heavy. He doesn't need to climb them though; he just shoots them with magick arrows and down they come 8D

@mnomaha - I am going to send Val back to you with a lvl.3 Cursed Armor. Have you started purifying cursed items from Orla yet? BTW, when you gonna switch her vocation?? I wanna play dress up with her, but I don't have anything else good for Warrior. ;D
Going to head back to Ur-Dragon hunting, now that I switched back to Assassin. I changed the way Ulee looks again (poor woman is going to end up looking like Joan Rivers, with all the plastic surgery I give her. LOL!) Character Creators are like crack....I just need one more "fix"...XD

...uh-huh. Camera shy.
I got a ton of good stuff tonight. The share button was being incredibly nice. I decided to head into post-game, and then immediately realized I wanted a few shots of Blue Sky Cassardis. Oh well, it's no biggie.
Oh, if anyone can get shots of major NPCs besides Julian, Madeleine, or stupid Aelinore, and have them moderately close up, kinda like this...

...you'd have my deepest appreciation. Oh, which reminds me, I don't need Barnaby either. Don't worry if the NPCs are off center or poorly lit, I'll take em. One of the duke would be nice. I forgot to get one.

Finally got a few good ones, after doing a crew rotation. Maybe him and Gabs had a tiff....she, on the other hand, was posing something fierce tonight.
I should be able to get one of Fat Bastard, and that a-hole Montebank. Oh, and I still have to take the ankle-biter on a walk around Gran Soren, so I can snap one of her, if you'd like.
@mnomaha - take a nap.........very sleepy.
OHHHH, and I found my new favorite Assassin outfit. I have pics, so I will post.

Okay Seel looks like he was awkwardly trying to do the news with his giant golden microphone and Shinon was having none of it. "IS THAT THE CAMERA?" he cried, sprinting into view, his hand brushing back his magnificently glorious red ponytail.

Rohan: Yeah, that would be my boyfriend.
Gabs: Mmm... come over here big boy.
Rohan: I'm standing right here. I can hear you.
