"Just a jape friend, just a jape..."

"It looks like Asalam had his throat slit before the murderer set his body on fire and fled the scene officer."
"He's screaming sarge! He's alive! Shouldn't we do something?"
"No. Let the ****** burn."

@Shepen - That's Beatrice, but of course. *whistle/shrug* lol! Haven't a clue now. I paid attention to the name when I snapped her photo, but now I can't remember it. She lives up in the Noble Quarter. I'll check next time I'm on.
@Elton - You feckin' beauty! Commentary on torturing Asalam, AND a scene from Ripper Street.

And just popping in to say hello. I'm still playing my male kitty in Skyrim. My plan is to get the remaining achievements that I'm missing, then I'll probably come back to DD. That is, if I can get all of that done by the 29th. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag will be out by then!
I have pre-ordered AC4 but I have to wait until 1st November. I have never pre-ordered before but AC4 sucked me right in when I went to Eurogamer. The marketing has been great. Can't wait to get my hands on Edward Kenway

Rehiring that feisty blond elf so I can five star him and maybe perhaps ruffle his perfectly slicked back hair <3

Let's see, we have... disgust:

amazement:

creepy duck face:

and happy:

...also sleepy.

I wish I could get Shinon's face to do this without having to keep running back to the CC. With him, it's just varying degrees of this:

"Why is that man wearing a tent?"

Chase: What's that awful smell...? Oh right, it's the guy who ABANDONED ME TO DIE.
Dai: *a pro at ignoring hurt pawn feelings at this point, is instead wondering why he's wearing a Mardi Gras mask and football shoulder pads*
And now enjoy romanced Reynard's sexy Japanese voice!

@motomoto - Bah...that boy never learns....was probably staring at his naval lint, when some Harpy tossed him over the edge. Though, if he disappeared in the room I think you were in, then I hate to say it......he loves taking the "Salto Mortale" in that room (same as the Midnight Helix). >.<
I had to look up Salto Mortale... LOL omg Chase! Aww I don't think it was his fault this time. It was the Rotunda of Dread actually. So I think he just got his ass kicked lol while Arya and Thomas were pointlessly firing at the golem. And poor Dai was firing his useless magick arrows at the last magick marker thing.
Ughhgh sometimes MA just annoys me so much

@newschmoo - and henceforth it is called "the belly-button flufff" (and extra "f" to mean business! Hmph!")
@motomoto - That's it...Rotunda of Dread....yes a favorite "death defying leap" for Chase, but if you say it was Thomas' and Arya's fault, good chance Chase won't argue. He's such a little ******. LOL!

@Shepenwepet - what happened to Shinon?! That Warg blood does sinister things
@MMG - Thomas undertaking pointless firing - why am I not surprised! It was a shame Chase disappeared in the Rotunda of Dread though. I still don't understand why pawns do that, Thomas did it twice the last time I played

Sure, why not?
First time someone here has ever commented on a picture I've uploaded from a British drama. I mostly hear people here mention Doctor Who, Sherlock, and Merlin but never Mr.Selfridge's, Ripper Street or Downton Abbey.
On another note, Ripper Street is awesome.
Off-topic in a off-topic thread, I know. Sorry everyone.
I must admit though that I am so looking forward to the sequel of this game. Five playthroughs in and I wish they had made more content for this game in the form of expansion packs. Hell, I was expecting this a year ago when the game released (I mean it was Capcom after-all). Kinda ironic that we only got one expansion pack then and it was something developed *after* the game's release (at least everything would indicate so).

OMG Downton Abbey is probably one of my all-time favorite shows. I'm on pins and needles this season
As for Doctor Who, I watched the old ones with Tom Baker but that's it.
Don't watch any of those other shows.... my other favorite British show is The Inbetweeners. Oh... god... I frakking love that show LOL I have the movie somewhere on my portable HD but haven't had a chance to watch it yet.
I'm almost afraid of the DD sequel. Will it be as awesome as the original?! Like I don't know what else they could add that would make me happier lol (I mean not like it's going to morph into a BW game and have genuine, you know, characters, so no way am I expecting that).
SPOILER FOR ENDING... Where does one go after becoming a god anyway?

1. Tonight Thomas took a leap off the Rotunda of Dread. Chase started a trend.
2. I've been using Shinon for several nights in a row, only to realize this evening that... he doesn't have a bow equipped.

I took away his bow so he'd have to use his daggers, but I didn't realize I'd uploaded him like that. Oops. I'll fix him tonight.
I played for about a minute last night to get a shot of my Arisen in the pawn guild. In 1450 photos, I had none of her there without way too many people in the picture. Well, except this one, which was after a sex change while wearing caretaker's garb.

I'm still playing around in Pre-Daimon BBI, where the wargs run free and corrupted pawns drop Idols of the All-Mother. And Level 3 Armor chests give you kilts.

~Bigger enemies.
~Ability to *run* up enemies and execute jump grabs (which would help with scaling larger enemies).
~Bigger world. Dragon's Dogma was only two thirds the size of what the developer wanted it to be.
~Quest creation. (Knowing DD's online share system with pawns and screen shots I can imagine we can expect a share feature here. What a quest creation will entail though we can only guess. Capcom have confirmed it's on the "to-do" list for DD2.).
Cut features from DD could also make it into DD2 such as these:
~Going to the moon. (Seriously? But with the craziness of DD this is not surprising)
~Glider equipment to glide across long distances as the world was originally meant to be bigger. Such a method of transport would have therefore helped get across greater distances.
Sources:
http://www.vg247.com...-first-details/
http://www.xbox360ac...ng-Gliders.html
So we kinda of have an idea of what they're going to do. I'm certain it'll be jam-packed full of new awesome features. I think that if they added a multiplayer feature too, then it would be snapped up instantly by those skeptical that it might be more of the same. Multiplayer would certainly seal the deal even if - speaking hypothetically - the list above are the only new features that make it in.
For me, quest creation, new methods of transport and new ways to scale giant enemies is already enough to seal the deal but I can imagine that Capcom will impress even more.
I predict boat transport, mounts, more destructible environments, random boss fights (like the ones introduced in Bitterblack Isle but more dynamic, i.e you get a certain boss creature that might actively hunt you down perhaps only at night to add more to that feature).
Personally I don't think we'll see Dragon's Dogma 2 till spring 2015. DD1 took three years to develop. Keep in mind that DD2 will also be bigger (probably) and therefore require more work. I'd imagine it'll look greater than Deep Down though and use the same engine and utilize some of the features of Deep Down (such as the physics and stuff where it's possible to prevent the fire of a dragon from reaching you by casting a wirlwind spell).

~Going to the moon. (Seriously? But with the craziness of DD this is not surprising)
Quest: Space Duchess in Space Distress
Description: After being rescued from the Blighted Manse, Aelinore and Mirabelle came across a downed UFO. There were several alien survivors already hard at work restoring their craft. One of them approached the duchess and gave her a space helmet for no discernable reason. Aelinore fell head over heels for the alien instantly despite not being able to understand what it was saying, and left with the aliens once their ship had been repaired.
Objective: Mirabelle fears Aelinore has been too impulsive, and that the aliens do not intend to treat her well. You are to go to the moon (as apparently that's where they are because shut up) and rescue her.
To get there, you must construct a space ferrystone out of ten liftstones, some lunanise and a diamond.
...fits right in with DD, I think.
And now this.

They hadn't seen each other in a while, and it showed. Gabs was glued to Chase nearly 100% of the time.
