@Coldy - Awww gawd, I'm rubbish at guessing games. Are they TV characters? If so, the bottom four shot characters remind me of Buffy and Spike. It's the hair! Reminds me a bit of Cullen in DA too.

@Shepenwepet - what is that red and black outfit? That helmet is a bit scary.

@MMG - liking the Halloween theme. I know I'm going to spend ages in the CC.

@Elton John is Dead - liking those capture shots. I haven't played much as MK. Is it quite an effective vocation in BBI?

Tea and crumpets to @newschmoo and @mnomaha, for both guessing the second pair correctly. They are indeed Miss Buffy Summers and Mr. Spike. Screw the tea.....a basket of kittens for both of you!

I know someone in this group is bound to guess the other duo. I'll leave as is till later this afternoon, and if people are still stumped, I'll toss out a hint or two.

I knew it was them  Recognized Jayne and his little hat right off hehe! And have to admit, Jayne/Ulee looks pretty sexy in that second pic; that shirt fits him, um, really well LOL

Though never really crushed on anyone in that show tbh... cept maybe Wash; he was super cute. *feelings of anger and betrayal starting to bubble to the surface*

People are stabbing themselves because that's what all the cool kids are doing.

It's actually a method to farm chests. Certain chests have terrible drop rates for good items, so chances are you won't get what you're looking for on the first try. If you save before opening a chest and end up getting trash, you can select the godsbane from your inventory, kill yourself, reload and try again. It's a little time consuming, but it's worth it.

Checking the wiki will tell you where all the good chests are in the Everfall and BBI.

Chest contents change after you kill Daimon the first time in BBI, pre-Daimon it's mostly Everfall loot, post-Daimon you can get BBI Level 3 drops in a handful of chests.

I am ashamed to say I wouldn't have gotten either of those "costumes", I'm not that much of a TV watcher. Actually... well, I just got an idea. Back in about half an hour.

@mnomaha - "Godsbaning" or Godsbane farming, is when you use the Godsbane blade (it is a "useable" item - once loaded into your pack from your inventory, it is located in the same menu as your Lantern, and Liftstones). Here are the basics:

1) Approach a chest that is known to have lvl.3 cursed armor/weapons (see the Wiki for locations, if you are unsure where they are....example: there are two in the Midnight Helix that have lvl.3 Armor).

2) Save game BEFORE opening the chest.

3) Open chest. If the Lvl.3 cursed item is not in said chest, proceed with the following.

4) Go into your item menu and "Use" the Godsbane blade.

5) Choose use, and watch your Arisen keel over (pawns may say some things....kinda funny).

6) If you have a Wakestone on you, it will ask if you want to use it: DO NOT USE IT! Choose NO.

7) You will then get a screen with "Retry" on it. Choose Retry.

8) Save will reload and you can open the chest again, and see if you get the right loot. Rinse and Repeat as necessary.

You should have seen my attempt at Thane Krios. It didn't make it out of the CC, nor should it have.

@Newschmoo - that set (there's actually two different ones there) is the Betrayer/Hellfire set, also known as Blasphemer/Sin. The red is the higher tier armor (Hellfire) and the Black is the lower tier.

I like the black better.

I have another duo that I am putting together, and I suspect they will be very easy to guess. I think points should be given though, to the creators of said costumes, if their creations are correctly guessed. It means they did their job at making them look like their doppelgangers.....right?? >.> <.< XD

ARGH. WHY CAN'T PAWNS BE MAGICK ARCHERS? I had everything done in the CC as good as it was going to get, not realizing my pawn needed a blue and a yellow piece of armor to make her outfit work. Now I have to go BACK into the CC and recreate the BOTH of them because they have to switch places.

XD Doh! Sorry @Shep.....couldn't the devs at Capcom foretell that we would need pawns to be the hybrid classes as well? Not for combat mind you, but for the really import things.....like making them perform Cosplay....?!?!



As for @wildannie's "Krios". She just made a new pawn (since she just bought DA), and her old pawn was Krios. I did take a snap of him, before she made said new pawn, but he was wearing one of those damnable "Mage Crowns", and a.....dress. (okay, fekit....one of those mage "tunics"..... ), so he is pretty hard to distinguish. HOWEVER....I believe I can "reverse engineer" him. So I will attempt to recreate for our viewing pleasure (or to poke fun at.....either works. ;D )

@Everyone! *GolfClap* YesseriBob! Sonny and Cher. Since I won't change the preset face on Chase (cause I can't remember the one I used originally....LOL), that was about the best I could do with "Sonny". Cher was much easier, since I put Ulee to the knife so often anyway. heh! XD

@Shepen - Sara and Kaim from Lost Odyssey! Very good likenesses. Another game I have never played, but I must confess......One of the characters you chose, was recently brought up in a convo with @happy. So I had just looked that game up. So she gets credit for this as well, since I probably wouldn't have guessed correctly without her mentioning the game only a week or so ago.

As for your second entry......*scratches head*.....will ponder.......
