I will fire up DD:DA this weekend, but I know I will be facing those wyrms/dragons in the Sparyard of Scant Mercy :-O! I will equip Arthur with the Tattered Mantle (MMG thanks!) because hopefully if I defeat them (I'm taking a lot of wakestones) I can get it dragon forged. I say hopefully, because it's pot luck when it comes to dragon forgingl

Dang, I'm level 13-something and I still find those two hard to beat. And last night I killed the two firedrakes and went back into the Rfit to retrieve Chase (who died; I don't know when or how, honestly), then when I came back out, two frostwyrms were waiting! I didn't know that would happen. Well, I defeated them because the extra EP was welcome, but man that took forever. Rohan's an assassin, so my trick for the firedrakes is to stand in the doorway behind the Rift stone (so pawns stay continuously healed) and just hit Masterful Kill xD It's slow but it works.

The frostwyrms are a bit easier, I'll admit. Good thing about the Sparyard is you can pick up your frostwyrm scutes if needed, whereas thunderwyvern horns can be found in Duskmoon Tower :) And firedrake (scales? horns? whatever) in both places.

OMG I haven't visited BSN for 6 days! And I haven't been on my xbox as much either.

I don't know about anyone else, but for me it has been having a cold, leaving work late and having to sort out Xmas, which I am not fond of. Too busy this time of year :(

Think some screenies are due. Will have a play later.

@MMG - thanks for the advice re the wyverns. I haven't really played the Assassin vocation that much. I really must try it (but I love being a MA so much!)

I've been rather busy lately making and shipping Christmas gifts, I haven't played DD since Shinon's garm encounter. On the plus side, Shinon's report #6 is almost done. I didn't realize we had so many pawns. Well, I knew, but having them all in one place is rather daunting. Making sure their personalities are distinct from each other is... surprisingly not that hard. I just took a few of their personality traits (eg. Seel's flirtiness and Thomas' shyness) and dialed them up to eleven. I still haven't touched Joe, Iorveth or Woolie, I might say they "went on ahead" and introduce them later.

I might hop on DD later just to see what shots I can pick up.

Seel's flirtiness and Thomas' shyness dialed up to 11... sounds like a perfect combination if you ask me

Pffft, oh, excuse me, didn't know you were MA!!  Forget assassin! My other Arisen is MA and he just pwns all. It truly is the awesomest vocation (I know there are mystic knight fans, but I haven't properly tried it and it's really too late for both my Arisens; I have no Arisen who is physically strong as well as magically so).

If you're MA and still having trouble with drakes and what not it's cause you just need to level up... grrr pesky drakes. Anyway, just stand between the pillars somewhere so they have to fly at you... then ninefold bolt 'em in the heart. Rinse and repeat! Allow for the fact that the pawns will occasionally go down there and get one-shot killed by the drake's roar spell. Stupid pawns. *grumble*

Sure, yes.

Perfect block:

I just love the perfect block attack. It sends enemies flying.

And...

Well that's all I have for now.

I have a hankering for this game today. I think I might go a few rounds with Death. ;)

Plus, I still need to get back to the Everfall.....need to Everfall loot. (or the loot that doesn't double up in BBI).

Tooled around in DD for a bit....snaps a few shots.....lets see what the toons were up to, yes?

Not quite sure what Bri was doing, but she seems to be having fun...Ulee and Chase are oblivious as always.

Shinon recently washed his Mantle with "Gee, Your Cloak Smells Terrific!". Seel investigates.

I played for about an hour and a half, and by "played" I mean "sat on the pause screen for about an hour and fifteen minutes and only technically played for fifteen minutes". I thought I would have gotten tired of it by now. Nope.

And with that, I'm gonna go crack open a pepsi and finish Shinon's report.

Is it Seel or Arya that's up? I had Seel in my party tonight and never got to a riftstone. (I spent the entire hour and a half in the Forsaken Cathedral beating up various undead.)

I'll need Arya in the future.

Firstly, as always, I do so love dark-haired Chase

As for Seel bringing the pain, he's either that or about to launch into an interpretive dance....

And OMGosh, tell Shinon I'm sorry; Rohan did have a talk with Seel about personal space and inappropriate smelling, but obviously he hasn't listened

Well, shucks! I was hoping for the morning "news", to go with my coffee. Shinon must have ended up back in the dungeon. Stop sneaking onto the Duke's Demesne, Shin...yeesh! :P

Shinon actually recently asked Seel if he'd heard of "personal space" before.... his answer suggested he hadn't.

I fully intended to finish it last night but someone linked me to tvtropes at around 10:00 and suddenly 2 AM.

I am easily sidetracked.

Perhaps you'll have it for your monday morning coffee. Perhaps.

LOL Shep! Like Chase (and Ulee), I'm overly eager....slightly impatient. No worries. I get the "side-tracked" bit.

Naughty pawn! Such a little liar

Can't wait for the report :D Last night I was being generous and hired a random pawn. Man... she died CONSTANTLY. Plus I think she was guardian (though I didn't check). Seemed like she was always on top of me (which with a MA is completely unnecessary). She ate up like four Kingwarish in about an hour's playthrough. So, yeah. Gave her some nice armor and dumped her butt back in the Rift xD

Although apparently if you dismiss a non-friend's pawn, you can't star them or give them a parting gift. So she went back with three stars. I feel terrible about that. But it's not entirely unwarranted I suppose lol (although she at least looked good)

They might be playing the original DD. I could dress up my friends pawn but couldn't give gifts or a rating. He didn't get any of the weapons, armor or experience either.

Just put Ulee under the knife.....again. I have had two favorite looks for her, and I can't manage to recreate them. LOL! Oh well. My fault for not marking crap down. :P

I'm feeling the need to play dress-up with Chase. May need to change his vocation though, to accommodate the wardrobe. Maybe some sort of "White Knight" motif.....hrmm. (I didn't have enough dolls as a child, apparently. heh!)

Guess it has been a while since I faced Death. XD
Both Shinon and Val bit the dust. lol!

Oh for pete sakes.....now Shin has jumped off the bridge. While we were just collecting stuff.Posted Image I kid you not, Chase jumped up on the same ledge right after, as though he was going to follow.Posted Image Started smacking the hell outa the "come" command.

Gotta love these brainless toons.Posted ImagePosted Image

^"Is that a sour scrag of beast down there in the abyss?! Well I sure am not letting that go to waste!"

His usual leap-to-death for me is in the flooded hall with the maneater chest. He'll clear the chest and the planks beyond it.

Not this time, however. I waited until he opened the chest so he got eaten.

He just danced a little jig, he didn't seem too worried about the giant fangs and alla that.

LOL Thomas and Arya don't seem too concerned either. Shinon's busy performing his dance of death for that maneater, screaming, "I got this, guys!"
