Lots of lore discussion over the last few pages. It has made me realise how little I really know about DD. I kind of wish they had a journal like set up like Dragon Age Origins so that you can learn more about the history, characters etc.

You mean codex really though right? They do actually have a journal for the Arisen's quest. Press start and then press X (or square on PS3) to access the chronicles of the Arisen's adventure. It adds a little more depth to the story. Sadly there wasn't a part for Dark Arisen but I guess the recollections of the Arisen you could collect filled that hole.

You know you could post the images here right? Just right click an image, select "copy image" and then press ctrl+v. I mean you could continue doing the links if you wanted but it makes for easier viewing if you just pasted them.

Nope, you have to "win" characters by doing quests, and you can only get NPCs, and who you get depends on the quest.

I finally said screw it, I'm linking my account and uploading some of these babies. Sadly, you can only upload photos that have been recently uploaded to facebook - I think it's different if you're on PS3, though. I hopped on DD tonight to try to get some pics (and to try out the Japanese voice track. Japanese Barnaby sent me rushing back to the main menu to switch it back to English. No. No no no. No.) Anyway, the share button didn't work. At all. I'll have to try tomorrow.

I do have this, though, from the Arisen's Abode quest window.

I noticed a few pages back that MMG mentioned the Forgotten City and the wyverns. I have got to that stage in BBI. I started it and already know it will be very troublesome!

@shepenwepet - I didn't know you could create an abode on the pawn community. Can you add other pawns to it, like ones your Arisen already knows? Congrats on the dead fish! You should upload some of your screenshots. They're brilliant!

@Apophis4321 - sorry to hear about your glitch (downside to DD is only one save - I now back up saves onto a pen drive after a glitch). I saw you mentioned a digital comic. Is this on a website? I would be interested, thanks. Your pawn Artemis looks great. I do have DD:DA on PS3 but I haven't played it on that console yet. But it would be good to create a new Arisen and pawn (too attached to my Xbox ones to change them), so I could use your pawn if that would help.

Wow, everyone uses weird face shapes! And by weird, I mean not 01.

I've never been able to use anything else for my characters, they always end up looking like some horrible mutant. But I guess those other shapes can make good lookin' folk. If it wasn't so late I'd pop back on to check how the share button is doing and fart around in the CC, but I have to get some sleep.

My real favorite part of the CC is adding those flaws. I love how you can make a truly fat character or add scars or other things to the character.

You might create an abomination true, but the potential for custom creation is pretty massive.

@Elton John is Dead - I meant a Codex! I couldn't think of the right word. It was late and my brain was tired! I found the Monument of Remembrance on BBI added a bit more depth to it, even though the story was sad. I still haven't found every tile though :-(

Also, Grigori, as his name supposedly is, seems to want you to kill him, also, has anyone else noticed that the more depressing things that happen in this world, the more depressed the people get? They are just giving up with their lives since they think the world is doomed. This world is depressing.

Important: What level should you be for the Final Battle quest? I want to actually be prepared, you know? If not, I'm jumping in to Bitterback early.Because you know, death is fun!

If you can safely make it through the Tainted Mountain without much trouble, you should be good.

I think I finished the game around level 60 (that includes post-game), which sounds just about where you'll end up.

And now for a totally unrelated question: have you done the quest Duchess in Distress?

DIE MELEK YOU- Sorry about that. Whoever that character is, it reminded me of a Infinity Blade 3 boss, and that of course invites rage.

Also random rant: Infinty Blade franchise gets no love. Story is awesome, but nobody ever talks about it. It's challenging, and it's story is badass.

Caved in - Decided to get Dark Arisen anyway despite my hatred of Capcom but I did have fun with the vanilla game, and I got to level 104 and got some good items from Ur-Dragon. Wanna see how I fare against the new monsters in the game.

The preset is just there to get you started. I changed her head hape and body proportions around a few times before settling on her current look. I honesty don't remember which one she started with.
