Did I see my boy with your Arisen Carcharoth....you are more than welcome to gift him something, should the spirit move ya. I think I got a little to zealous with some gift giving a couple months back, and am actually a little shy of both Ur-dragon drops and Everfall drops. Meh....not that it matters much, but hey! I like new loot now and again.

@Apophis4321 - Nice! Glad to read that FemElfChase is behaving herself. She is a bit more reserved than her bimbo brother (ManElfChase), but she does love freezing the crap outta things. ;D

This one is messy, but it's of me, Briana, Chase and Gabrille stabbing the dragon in the leg.
I sent Chase back with an Abyssinal set, a Saint George mask and some Heaven's Key daggers.

@Carcharoth - Wow! That is very generous, thank you! I have only managed to take the Ur-Dragon down once in the "grace period", but I have fought him numerous times. The problem now, is that his HP is so freakin' high, it takes forever to get to his "last legs" so to speak. So, I just do a few rounds from time to time, and pick up goodies a week or so later. lol!

BTW, are those 360Pawns still around causing mahem? Or did they finally get rid of those jack***es?

I have been having a few rounds with the UR Dragon in order to get a few levels (now level 100 yay!). I used Arya and Briana, released them with a gift but realised afterwards I was off-line. @Carcharoth and @MMG I hope you still got the RCs and gifts!

And how hard is it to get stuff dragonforged? I did two rounds with the UR Dragon and nothing!

Edit - re screenshots, Xbox is being a bit temperamental, but I did manage to get one in the FB album.

Online Ur-Dragon has a 100% chance to dragon forge items. The offline version has a 30% chance to dragonforge a 3 star item, a 10% chance for 2 star and 2% chance for 1 star.

I'm starting to have issues with it now. Sometimes the Share button won't work, other times I'm getting a 0x000001F8 code. Sometimes it doesn't even give a reason for why it can't upload a screenshot.

I still think the best way to DF anything is keep going back to Duskmoon Tower post Daimon. Thunderwyvern, Firedrake, and Corrupted Dragon....you are pretty much guaranteed to get at least a couple things DF'd.

I know just the other day that Cerberus Network (ME2) was completely down. I think it could be an XBL thing. Maybe so many people are off work/school and the servers are overloaded??

Since the share button wasn't working, I decided I'd do another speedrun. I kicked the ox all the way to Gran Soren, went to the inn and picked up my eternal ferrystone. I then ran to the Everfall to do Lure of the Abyss.

I opened the door and leapt off the top to cut down on time. About halfway down I thought to myself, "I didn't pick up a wakestone, did I?"

Splat. No retry as there's no saves. At least I was only about fifteen minutes in.

Time to talk about Dragon's Dogma.

So the Pawn's purpose are to be training wheels for the Arisen. The Senceschal commands all life, so the Pawns exist to be the Arisen's creations.

But because they have no true will or purpose, they are nomads, traversing the infinite worlds, following the Arisen's of those infinite worlds. Unless their original creator is destroyed, then they become truly purposeless, only responding when a new Arisen of that World appears.

Also, random bit  Pawns sell you stuff in Everfall.. but won't give the Arisen them for free. Funny.

For now lets not get into the concept of the PAwn is a shadow thing. I got to think about that a bit more, and finish BBI

So, what level would say is best for BBI. In your experience?

80 is the official recommended minimum level. I started at around 130. Others here started in their 60's or 70's. Skill and gear is more important than level though.

I can't remember what level I started at. Probably around 70-80. It was impossibly hard for me. Fighting a firedrake took almost an hour.

EDIT: One thing I learned from the good people of this thread was that my magick archer was very weak because he had spent very little time as a sorcerer! So I leveled up as a sorcerer for a good 20-30 levels. That made the BBI fights a LOT easier. Now my MA Arisen can kill a firedrake or gorecyclops in a couple minutes.
