Really need to find some high level warrior pawns.

Also, who thinks Dragon's Dogma 2 should take place in the Gransys of the past. When those ruins were actual castles and what not?
Any tips on BBI Evil Eye?

I will reset Fem!Chase as a warrior for you. She is actually a pretty decent warrior. Image IPB

I guess it is time to reset both Chases to Warrior. lol!

Thanks. It's BBI so I need all the powerhouse's I can get.. Magic doesn't seem to be nearly as effective as a sword.

What is your usual Arisen/pawn setup? Are you both physical attackers? The vocation you are when you level up makes a difference in stat growths, so if you want to become stronger magically you'd have to switch to a mage or a sorcerer to get any decent growth to magic.

It might take you out of your comfort zone a bit, but magic really is a big help in BBI.

Yep, my Magick Archer Arisen just tears through BBI. He spent about 30 levels as a sorcerer.

My assassin Arisen has a harder time of it, even though his strength is way, way higher than my magick archer's. And he's been a strider/ranger/assassin the whole time.

Dang. Sigh. I'll go mage the next time around. Time to brave BBI with phyiscal attacks. Sorry, but I just want to beat my way. Probably use some high level mages too.

Keep in mind that there are some creatures in BBI that are only weak to magic. Physical attacks do nothing or next to nothing.

@Apophis4321 - Physical can do well in BBI (Rangers work fantastic!), but I would still suggest that you get your hands on a magic user as well. In general I would say for BBI, the best setups are:

Ranger(s) + Magic > Ranger(s) + Physical = Physical + Magic > Magic only > Physical only

(NOTE: Ranger would include any bow user that doesn't have magic, so--->Ranger/Strider/Assassin
Magic would include----->Mage/Sorcerer/Magic Archer/ Mystic Knight. And Physical would
include----->Fighter/Warrior/Assassin again)

These can be set up such as *two Rangers, a Magic Archer (your Arisen only) and a Mage/Sorcerer*, or *three Rangers, and a Magic Archer/Mystic Knight*, for example......

Oh, and it goes without saying, this is just a really simple breakdown, and TOTALLY just my opinion. LOL! ;)

hmmmm....I wonder if that made a lick of sense. heh! :P

I'm going to go back to Gransys after some  fighting in BBI. I gonna do some griffin hunting quests. Note, where's the best spot for griffin hunting?

I can't believe this. I actually came on here to suggest someone gift Chase an Apollo Mask. For... for reasons. I was looking to equip him with mine but it's goldforged.

Share button wasn't cooperating, but I did get this.

Chase was trying some fancy moves with his Devil's Nail but completely destroyed his wrist.

My photobucket resets tomorrow. I hate using flickr.

edit: re: griffins, I honestly don't know. Bluemoon Tower? The only place I ever fought one (aside from the quest to kill one) was the Eradication Site, down near Aernst Castle.

I know what the ladies like.

Between Hillfigure knoll and the road. A griffin has a good chance of spawning there. You have to lure it down with bait or by insulting its mother.

@Carcharoth - My liege. Your generosity knows no bounds. *deep bow* Chase shall commence at once with the smiting of all things unholy....relating to carpentry.

@Shepen - awwww.....poor broken Chase doll (like a Ken doll, but different...). XD I will get on, and have the gold mask equipped. ;)

@Apophis4321 - There is a Griffin Between the Healing Springs (the one above Conquest Road), and Hillfigure Knoll. It's toward the hills, not the coast. :)

@motomoto - Chase does like to be admired....even if he is clueless most of the time. Image IPB

Also Cold, I've decided to turn all my pawns. (Since my Arisen is female now) into sexy badass, don't be surprised that your pawn comes back tramautized and insane. Ps3 Pawn is female for some reason. Guess that's differnt from your usual pawn now.

I can see "Handyman Chase" as being his secret identity, a la Bicycle Repairman. And we all know that when you have a mask that doesn't even cover your entire face, nobody can tell who you are.

Can't find a lever to open a door? That bridge in the Tower of Treasons Repaid is broken and crumbling? Handyman Chase is just a riftstone away!

@Shepen - Ahahaha! yeah....kinda sounds like he should reside on the Island of Misfit Mascots, moreso than joining the likes of ****** and Friends. XD

Chase has his Mysterio Mask on.....go get him! :D

@Apophis - Yap! My female!Chase was first, but at the time I played the original DD on the PSN, I didn't know a soul on the PSN. Everyone I knew that had the game, played it on the Xbox. So I repurchased it for the Xbox, and eventually got DD:DA (again, for the Xbox).

I have a soft spot for Chase's female counterpart....she is more wily. ;) But, I have grown quite fond of my "Handy" blonde bimbo M!Chase.

Hey! Would you consider taking a few snapshots of female!Chase, and posting her here? Since I have only DD (no Dark Arisen), I don't have the upgraded textures.....my current version looks like butt. XD If you don't want to, or can't, no worries. ;)

I once took my glasses off and wore a different hat from the one I normally wear. Several people I saw on a daily basis failed to recognize me even when I spoke to them. :bandit:

Haha  I have the opposite problem; I get people from HIGH SCHOOL walking up to me and saying they remember me, and I'm like, um, I have no idea who you are!

Man I wish DD: DA had a top hat, this talk of disguises makes me want to have Seel dress up as Tuxedo Mask *snort*

It comes with the territory for superheroes. Shinon would like to be known as "The Ab-arition". His superpower? He can become semi-transparent. Not very useful.

And here's superhero Alynna, being real classy with a man that just lost his son.

I intended for her to "hug" him by picking him up, I was going to grab that first frame. I hit the button a tad too quick.

Note: This post is filled with images of somewhat sexy video game women. And then a sick tiwsted person pointing out why they are sexy.

Since, I'm posting Chase's stuff anyway, here's my pawn and my new female Arisen.
Arisen: Solaria
Image IPB

Personal bio: Always a loner, Solaria hid hides her self in a cloaked hood. While somewhat of a pragmatic Assassin, Solaria always prefers to jump on Ogre's with out any armor, just because it limits her movements. It's said her smile is like the setting sun, short but sweet.

Notes: I took a simple style with my Arisen. removing her armor but giving some leg for fun. Keeping it simple but pragamtic. But she definitely has a sense of sexiness because I added the hood. Mystique gives a bit of attractivenss to any thing if you use it right.

Image IPB
My Arisen's true face. A small hair cut with orange hair-.

Image IPB
Sexy hair, straps around her legs, boots, yup, I have no life. Artemis, you  must hate me.
Seriously,  Artemis being a strider makes it so easy to make her look sexy. She bring sexy back before the past of sexy was even invented.

Now Chase. Chase was a toughy. Because she was a mage, I had to find a way to make her somwhat look attactive without complete turning her naked. And so after searching for a while, I found the answer in the Black Cat.
Image IPB
Show's enough leg, show's the arms, and gives a small but tempting look into her bust. I definitely say some sexiness has been achieved.

Also Cold.. this is me begging. I wasted so much money finding a good look for this mage verison of your pawn. Your going to have a bunch of gifts in your inverntory on the PS3 version. Could you please just get me some good  stuff on that version of the game? All my money was drained through this effort. Please?
