I just realized something in The Evefall  after going through a few chambers.

I'm scared of the Everfall.

I mean, I'm willing to go into Bitterblack simply because I can, but the Everfall just freaks me out for some reason. Maybe it's the fact that a chamber can have a Drake or two freaking black chimeras, or the fact that it's just big rooms where you can die easily.

Or maybe I'm a coward.

The fact is, I don't want to enter the Everfall. Actually considering grinding in Bitterblack just to stay away from the Everfall. Is something wrong with me?

Yeah, BBI doesn't have rooms like that.



^Those shots were, however, from rooms influenced by whether or not you're carrying Fiend-Luring Incense (I was), a free DLC item.

The fact is, I don't want to enter the Everfall. Actually considering grinding in Bitterblack just to stay away from the Everfall. Is something wrong with me?

You'll get more XP in BBI, especially if you use pawns that are lower level than you. But being afraid of the Everfall? The place spits out wakestones like they're rift crystals. You should be in love with the Everfall. You should have a second home there.

The Everfall has lower level, less dangerous enemies than Bitterblack Isle. You can't lose your pawns to gravity. There are no maneaters. There are plenty of wakestones for you to collect. Death can't crash your party and you fight at most three, relatively easy, bosses at a time. It's also well lit.

Maybe the issue here is that you're experiencing them both while at a lower level. Go through every chamber in the Evefall. Confront your fears and headbutt them into submission.

I agree.  I walked into a room once to find two gorechimeras, a lich, and hellhounds.    That was terrible.

LOL That really is the worst one. And I understand completely. 50 levels or so ago, I found myself in that room. All my pawns died (including high level friends' pawns). What a disaster! And you aren't expecting it b/c it's a "B" option that can appear even after you've supposedly cleared the room (of a drake, I think).

I may have turned my sister into a Dragon's Dogma addict. God help us all.

I just start my 4th New Game+ It's offical, I love this game.

It's not like Skyrim where there's so many quests to do you can never really finish it. Its just fun. Dragon's Dogma is fun. Even at high level, jumping on monsters and killing them is fun. Facing a drake is fun.

But what I really love is the theme: Will.

This game literally makes the character the player. Only a person willing to fight the Dragon can become the Arisen. Will is the game's theme and it's shown in the gameplay.

I love the theme it presents, and I just love the game.

That's exactly what happened to me!   There was a drake in there the previous day.  I came back the next day, farming for the Twilight set pieces, and found all of that.  I died on my first attempt, but  I was far too stubborn to just do a U-turn.  I finally managed to kill everything... and didn't get any armor.

The share button was being a jerk, but of course that shot went through with no problem.

Edit: I wonder if that one would get me banned from the pawn community.

 I'm doing a sexy clothes run of Dragon's Dogma, meaning I'm going make my pawn and my Arisen look super attractive as they murder the **** out of their enemies.

Expermental Clothes Combos 1# The Sexy But Pragmatic Lady
Basically, I'm going to do c lothing combos in my Dragon's Dogma run, for giggles and boredom. But honestly, I also want to mess with the customization options more.

For my Arisen I wanted her originally too look sexy, mysterious, and have high defense.


My first combo was this. 

While attractive, it didn't give any good defense, and was basically just a sexual looking design. I want to her look attractive, not looking someone on a porn set.
   

While sexy cloaked woman Solaria was pretty cool, the defense wasn't good enough for me. So I scrapped that design, even though I considered keeping the hood off.


This design was good in defense, but not so good in showing assets, so it couldn't continue.


 
 This one, it show the assests, of the character fine while being realisticly protective, and has high defense due to some stuff I bought.

 I've been playing dress up for a while now. Got some stuff from the BBI shop as I like to call it. Also, I've grown to love taking snap-shots of my charrie's like this. Easier to positon and move around.


Clothing Combo 2# Sexy and She Knows It

For Artemis,  I wanted her to be attractive and unpragmatic, too offshot my Arisen. So I made a few combos:


I've change up my Pawn to look sexy without having low defense and what not. Took me a while to get the best combo working. But that Hersey Armor looks good on her with the cloak, don't you think? But the Pawn was easier, because, you guess it- she was a strider.

Seriously, Striders are the best sexy female class you can find. Seriously though,

Honestly, I'm really just having fun dressing them up with new armor and clothing. It's like a game to make the most powerful and attractive warrior ever. Fun, fun, fun.
But seriously, more combos coming up after 3:00. Chase needs to be comboed.
