I'm back in the Everfall, and so far the haul isn't too bad.
God I have missed just killing things in funky outfits, and with crazy pics to boot. (yup...the "share" button has been working tonight. woot!)

I'm wondering if using ninefold bolt on individual hearts would do more damage quicker than hunter bolt on all at once. Hunter is holy (or at least it looks like it) but you only get one hit per heart, ninefold you get nine, albeit ice-infused.
Maybe a holy enchanted Blackwing Bow using basic attacks and 4x demon's periapts... that way I won't run out of stamina, at least, which is a major issue for me.

@Captain Crash Sorry if your pawn came back to you with a 3 star rating. She got killed by a cockatrice when I was killing something else, and I didn't get a chance to save her in time apparently. I'll get her back and give her a proper rating in a minute. Also, I gave her some new armor and weapon goodies. Sorry I didn't improve anything for you but I'm really broke at the moment.
awwww thanks
Last night I got to that moment where you can tell a story and my opinion of the game just skyrocketed! :happy:hmmmm actually that literally did happen!
So I just did the quest where you had to clear the Goblins out the fortress in a very Helms Deep sort of battle which was just brilliant. I could barely fight off one Cyclops and then two off the things charge at me with a couple of ballista raining down at me. It was pretty intense and pretty satifying.
So walking back to Gran Soren, inventory heavy and battle weary I almost make it to the gates thinking im nice and safe when suddenly a giant bloody Griffon just swoops down out of nowhere. In this case swooping was certainly bad, but I cant exactly flee from this thing and get pitched in a 15 minute battle trying to take the thing out. I trash about 20 items just so my inventory gets back from heavy to light so I can actually move. Arghhh my poor loot!
So I thinking im getting the upper hand I jump on its back when it starts flying off with me and my mage pawn still attached to it legs! I fall off nearly killing myself in the fall and my pawn hangs on... Im thinking "yeah this won't end well" which it clearly doesn't... moments later I see her falling from the sky so far away she is right out the battle...
Since she was my mage and I trashed or used most my curatives I now had to face this Griffon with pretty much no health when it circled back round. My other two pawns kept dieing and there was no way I was running up to the Griffon to revive them unless I wanted to die. So im there running in circles around an old house with my shortbow trying to kill this thing like a million little paper cuts.
Fortunatley I think it got bored and decided to fly off into the distance allowing me flee. Lucky escape!!
I will have my revenge one day though Griffon!

@Captain Crash Just wait, it won't be long before you are shaking your fist at Griffins because you want to kill them (and will be able to easily), but the bloody things always fly off! I see them in the sky all the time, but I can't get them to come far enough down for me to shoot. Annoying. Good on you for surviving what the game threw at you. The longer you play, the more fun it gets.

@moto: Yeah im not using high pawns at the moment, I like a challenge and all the ones I can get off my friends list are over 100 levels above me
I think I will use the chainmail undergarb and stick the rest of the gear in storage for a bit. I want to build up a few other Griffon type stories rather then rain total destruction on everything!

It's a little unfair to folks who want the online rewards and have just started out, I'm level 200 and I can barely tell I've moved the health bar.

WHY DO YOU WRITE THOMAS SO PRECIOUS. It kills me
But tbh Shinon is right; Seel would never do anything really creepy
Briana and her spider, priceless
I thought getting Barnaby into the picture was pretty smooth; I like how Shinon was like NOPE lol Shinon, you can't honestly think Rook would do a good job... I feel sorry for Barnaby having to make small talk with that idiot lol No wonder he's so willing to come along for the ride!
Well, the worst thing about this report is that I've finished it, and I'll have to wait for who knows how long for the next one
Favorite part was definitely Shinon's pep talk with Thomas. I seriously wibbled.

PS3 Chase is in the background, looking at my new Arisen and Pawn. The Arisen is known as Lilith.

g

And her pawn is Viola.

Basically, in my Arisen's backstory, they have a mother daugher relationship, since the pawn is kinda a teenager size. In other words, innocent and rebellious. I got all the fanfictions in my head now.... why must I have imagination....

BECAUSE HE IS.

My problem with it is that Alynna's Shinon's master - he should have to listen to what she says. In the first draft of that scene, Alynna argued that Barnaby's voice kept her calm (after Gabs' suggestion of harspud milk), and Shinon just flat out said no, because Barnaby would have to be protected too due to his inability to fight. But since the Arisen's safety is supposed to be paramount to a pawn, it didn't really jive with me. Shinon should have agreed instantly. He still doesn't, but he's not as outright opposed to the suggestion as he was.

I might do shorter ones, I didn't realize how big the Garden of Ignominiminijmniny was - and compared to other floors, it isn't. I'm still in there, the groups have to meet up and deal with a heckling cyclops. I wanted it to be one report per floor, but I don't think that's happening. The Fallen City? Nooo.
Most adorable pawn ever? It's official
You have not met everyone.

Ignore Alynna there, I'm just fiddling with colors. Its not a spoiler.
If anyone can get a decent shot of Valmiro that I can compare that with (I know I shouldn't, but I wanna) it'd be appreciated. I googled him but all I could get is the official site pic (ack, muppet mouth) and a few tiny pictures.

Because if you didn't, your Arisen and pawn would be bland and soulless like everyone else's. Capcom provided us with a blank slate, or a slightly scribbled-on slate, and let us go nuts. Which we did. I honestly don't notice how bland the characters are in the game anymore, because I've attached these personalities to them. And occasionally they surprise you and actually act "in character." And it is glorious.
