And good point about Seel, I would have forgotten all about that.
Pfft, you mean you haven't memorized who we've all romanced... on our alt playthroughs no less.

His first form has at least a mild vortex thing he does, because I always run away when I feel that pull. Maybe he sucked Chase to him and then killed him? I was busy running away lol and didn't exactly see what happened.

You have to stun him, or chances are all your pawns will get sucked away. I find the "come" command isn't enough. A direct hit or two to the face will stop the vortex. With MA it's easy, a ninefold bolt usually does the trick. And if it doesn't, two ninefolds will. Other classes I'm not sure about, if you're already climbing on him, does he throw you off before the vortex? If not, just keep attacking.
And Daimon doesn't forge things. Just dragons do.

No, I still haven't made it to his second form yet.

The recommended level is 80 to begin, I think. I still get OHKd occasionally at infinity on normal, but my Arisen is constructed entirely of wet paper towels.
Actually, climbing is how I always fought AD: all-archer crew, with my Arisen as MA, with Framae Blades and Immolation. Then hop on his back, and go to town with Thousand Kisses. Add periapts or buff potions liberally.motomotogirl wrote...

Oh I see. Yes, if you enjoyed the "mild" vortex, then get ready for some real fun when you fight Awakened Daimon :innocent:
Climbing won't work very well for Awakened Daimon...

I love that screenshot. And you should try Immolation! Unless you're really into dragging the fight out.Shepenwepet wrote...
^It's been months and I still haven't tried immolation on Daimon. I use it for screenshot purposes only.

If you have Briana and Shinon with you, they help make mincemeat of that bad boy.
The fight is usually over in about 5 minutes. Literally.
