You mean there are usually more hearts?!?!?!? How is that possible??

I
had Heaven's Key the first two times then switched to frammies; also
gave Seel High Maelstrom, which was quite effective... but still not
enough.

[smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/uncertain.png[/smilie] I'm not used to using periapts, but maybe I'll try that next time [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/wizard.png[/smilie] I've had enough of this guy for the night.

I saw 10 hearts once. You'll want to use 4 demons and conquerors periapts. They stack. Take 36 of them with you and a lot of stamina potions. If you can manage the weight, you could switch the periapts out for Salomet and Taglius potions. They provide the same effect for your entire party.

^It's about time I can give you something back that you can actually use. :P I mean, yeah, placative brews and nostalgia dust make sense, but...

Okay, never mind that, I just had to travel back in time to give myself a good smack upside the head.

I <3 U.

Better two years late than never, I <3 U too.

I also recommend Liquid Vim, but that sorta falls under stamina potions. If you don't like the idea of wasting all those curatives and periapts, bring a godsbane with you. That way, if you don't kill the Ur, you can godsbane and get all your stuff back. Yeah, it's cheap, but when you don't have Lord Walrus to sell you periapts by the cartload, you'll burn through your supply in no time.

I'm now out of liquid vim, large fish and sour ambrosial meat. Bring a godsbane. :crying:

Yeah, Lord Walrus is dead in this playthrough. This my first playthrough, so I did the moral thing. *long suffering sigh at naive self*

Oh yeah, I always carry the godsbane with me. And my Arisen is pretty sturdy; he should be able to carry a ton of the heavier items. I'm not sure I have so many periapts though.

Thanks for the advice, guys :) Also thinking it could just be that I'm only level 147 and my stats are still kinda low.

Have a shot of Seel trying out some new dance moves.

All right, so I may or may not have discovered the art of snapping pics of pawns while they're talking.

Of course this goober immediately makes a face at the camera.

Briana looks dignified, imparting wisdom from the shadows.

I'm not sure what Rohan said to him, but I don't think he liked it.

Oh, and I met this handsome elven cutie. I couldn't not recruit him. Proof that attractive pawns get themselves rented haha

Wahoooo I got my revenge on that pesky griffin B)  Ok yeah it was part of that awesome quest where I had to hike all the way over to Bluemoon Tower, but yeah it was worth it.

I only ranked a few levels more but it certainly makes a difference, that final battle was one sided the other direction this time! :)

So finding some newly found "my Arisin can destroy al now!" mentality I went walking around at night.  Something I used to find a little to uncomfortable.  It was going all so well. Skeleton here... Smash!  oh another... Smash.  Oh look a Pantasm... magic smash!

"Oh what are those two floaty things?".. minute later me get smashed   Yeah meeting my first Wights didn't go quite as planned.

^_^

Also love all these screenies, will have to reactivate my Gold account to take a couple sooner or later.

Before this thread, I'd rent pawns based on name only. There were several I'd keep going back to - a massive warrior named Thane, a sorcerer named Pepsi and a fighter named Inigo (Montoya - and it was a really good likeness.)

I remember heading into the Everfall with Daenerys and Jon Snow, and trekking to Bluemoon Tower with Ornstein and Quelaag.

You only need a silver account - my gold expired months ago. Sometimes the share button takes a few seconds to light up.

Ahhhh ok that makes sense.  Thanks :)

Well I will try and take some snaps this evening then after work. Apparently I have to trek alllll the way back to Bluemoon Tower now to battle some crazy magic guy.... should really have left a Portcrystal there...

Ha! I've seen a lot of ME-themed ones, for sure. I would have loved to have seen Daenerys and Jon Snow.

The best I ever found was Baby Jesus. It made me laugh, because he was a giant hulk of a guy, with a deep voice.

I will say that Arya gets rented out a lot more than Seel does. In fact, Seel hardly ever gets rented. And I'm betting it's because of the name. (Cause it's not like I dress Arya in sexy clothes or anything.) And Seel you know is pretty powerful (in magic) for a sorcerer at his level. Arya is comparatively weak (but does have high hit points/health... whatever it's called).

Game of Thrones names seem pretty popular. I've also encountered Gandalf, Thor, Zeus, Odin, and the like. Always a big hulking old guy, a sorcerer or a warrior. It's either that or a scantily dressed 12 year old girl. And then there's our pawns xD Rebels, we are!

@moto and Carcharoth Thank you so much for the Bloodred Crystals! :)

My daughter informed me that to ship a pawn with his/her Arisen (like Nova and Quintin) was self-cest. o_O Where does she get this stuff????

I missed Artemis so I went back to my old save. I decided to make her blond in my next playthrough, for fun. And also... damn. Have you seen the  Cassardis clothing section?

Artemis loves her new clothes, though Newshmoo's pawn Rhys keeps jumping into cold river for some reason. I have no idea why.

But yeah, I'm alternating between saves now.

And okay:  This is a random rant. OMG SKYLANDERS IS HARD. EVEN DD DOESN"T KILL ME THIS MUCH. DROW FREAKING GOLIATHS. Sorry, I know that's not part of the topic, but I had to let that out.

I see it as more of a mother/son relationship. Or at least mother/golem. I try not to think about it too much when they both jump around in skimpy clothes.

Briana is based on my arisens older sister. She, and the rest of his family, died when their boat sank. He washed up on the beach in Cassardis.

Interesting factoid about our crazy team mom. ;)

I'd like to say that Shinon is based on someone Alynna knew, but in all likelihood, she just circled bits in a catalogue, handed it to Rook and said "Make me one with those, and make him sound like Troy Baker, but with an English accent."

LOL I think Dai just wanted a big sister. So he was all, make her taller than me and super strong so I don't have to worry about things eating me. And give her pretty hair.

Now with Rohan and Seel, I purposefully made them look alike (they have almost the same face). So I guess that means Rohan's kind of vain haha... "Make him look like me, just with bluish-purple hair." Probably why they squabble so much.

So wow, in that instance, it really would be self-cest!  Definitely incest for both pairs. Sounds like all our Arisens and pawns have the sibling thing going.

I choose pawn by gender, ever since the Orge incident. I rather not confuse enemy AI with both male and female pawns. My Arisen is female, so my group is female.

What is the ogre in incident. BBI. Death. Ogre carried off my most powerful pawn off a cliff. And then Death came to sweep up.

Only female. All the time.

Right... so, Carcharoth, I think your Arisen should think twice now before recruiting Shinon xD
