:? My hands still tingle and ache from my last three attempts. Peripats or not, I think I'll wait for Rohan to go up a few more levels :P

I heart you guys. I should leave shots here every night. It's like getting a nice present under the... uh... thread tree in the morning. Or afternoon.

The Pawn Community site says the Ur is in grace, but it may be inaccurate. I'm just hopping on now to check.

Edit: Dammit, Arwen 360H...

Edit 2: Yep, Grace.

Thanks for the heads up! You know what mask it gave me this time? Beowulf.:pinched: I'll give this one to you since you gave me one of yours.

Still have a bunch of Abyssinal sets, masks and weapons if anyone wants them.

I couldn't kill it. Seven hearts livin' in just one dragon.

I didn't have any conqueror's periapts with me and I had to give all my stamina restoratives to Shinon to carry because Alynna isn't a good pack mule. The jerk used them all up on himself despite doing nothing of value. He never uses stuff like that unless I tell him to. Well, until now. Ass.

I tried two different methods - 1) what I usually do, which is stand on the raised platform and hunter bolt until the Ur sees me, after which I scramble and waste time trying to find another hidey hole. 2) I used Heaven's Keys and climbed on him, working on individual hearts. Both methods resulted in four hearts broken, perhaps if I'd remembered to bring conqueror's periapts I would have cut down on time and possibly killed it.

I found something so fun when I went into the rift last night! I had just given Quintin a sex change (he is now Nova), so it was perfect timing. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Team Arisen.:wub::wub:

I think Barnaby is not too certain of what these Arisen are doing masquerading as pawns, but he isn't fooled. :P

Man I've been playing BBI for a while. Question, does Damion respawn if you liftstone out of the dungeon after beasting him? Or can you respawn what so ever.

Also, here's what I want for Dragon's Dogma 2. I want the Infinity Blade system.

What's that mean? See the Infinity Blade Franchise on the Iphone is has a well tuned system.

You follow a path.
Beat a bunch of boss monsters.
Beat a mega-boss monster.
Cycle repeats, but now monsters are high leveled.

That's the way Infinity Blade works. While it would be tweaked for Dragon's Dogma. Basically every major dungeon gets stronger enemies every time you beat it. Or every time you start New Game + for DD2, the enemies level up to say 20 each time? Or something like that.

Not only would it work with the concept of the Cycle in Dragon's Dogma, but it would make it even better replayablity wise.

Also the Infinity Blade franchise is awesome, check it out if you want a constantly updating challenge.

Also,  Cold. Your PSN version of Chase has kinda become part of my  Team permenantly.. Seriously, while Chase doesn't really pack a punch with the BBI monsters, she does do buffs greatly. Since I don't know the personality to put on PSN Chase, I thought of one out of boredom.

PSN Chase

When Artemis learned of the concept of sisters, Solaria, the Arisen knew nothing good would come of it. And sure enough, Artemis wished upon a riftstone for a sister she could hunt monsters with. And so, Chase, the bane of Solaria's existence, fell out of the rift, and became a constant companion throughout their adventures.

Chase was lazy, manipulative, and devious. Like all mages were according to Solaria. Chase prefered to trick Solaria into taking quests by using Artemis puppy eyes as an advantage, or get Solaria to buy her armor by making Artemis pout. Solaria never got rid of Chase only because, Artemis and Chase actually bonded.

Chase for some reason despises Saurians, and will brutually hunt them down and kill them. Artemis and Chase constantly bantered, enjoying each other obiviously insane company.

But when ever they slept in a camp at night, Chase would smile at the sleeping Artemis, who sleeping figure would sleep near Chase.

And Solaria sighed. Artemis liked Chase. And whatever Artemis wanted, Artemis got.

Daimon respawns as soon as you leave the room via the door to the surface. I assume a liftstone would do the same, but it's a waste of a liftstone.

Basically every major dungeon gets stronger enemies every time you beat it. Or every time you start New Game + for DD2, the enemies level up to say 20 each time? Or something like that.

I wouldn't mind that. And a higher level cap. I know when I started DD that level 200 seemed unreachable, but...

It was over too soon.

Chase for some reason despises Saurians

PSN= Bizarro World? :lol:

Shinon: "Eww, slimy! Get it away!"
Chase: "Dude, chill. It's just a Maneater."

Unidentified leg: "Why would it try to eat you when Chase is standing right there?
Chase: "...I don't get it."

Alynna: "Hey, Chase. Do you want to see the floating dagger trick again?"
Chase: "What do you think? I still can't see out of my right eye!"

Shinon: "No, I'm sure it wouldn't be very interesting. Besides, it's probably harmless."

I just did a new game + BBI run, with the knowledge of enemies known. I'm still to afraid to a full second run in one playthrough, and now I've been proven right.

AHAHAAHAHAH- that's was the most epic fight I had with Daimon in a while.

Both of us at the last of our health trying to kill each other. I was literally on the other side of the room, and we ran towards each other and -snicker snack-

I killed him. Also PSN Chase as usual healed us up, though as usual she screwed over Solaria, my female Arisen. (They have a complicated relationship.)

Also, yes PSN Chase in gameplay, will murder Saurians brutally. Like completely unfair ways . I really don't get her logic. It's a lizard, why does she hate them so much?

Also, PSN Chase meets Xbox Chase? What would happen. I say PSN Chase murders Xbox Chase.

Elf fight! In a pit, covered in Garm gunk. Actually, I think I need to turn Ulee into F!Chase just for such an epic showdown. Good on you, @Apophis4321, for suggesting it. Posted Image Like the "Chase" personality too. Seems fitting. Posted Image

Got to love those awesome Daimon take downs. As soon as I get a chance to go back into the game, I am due for a bit of awakened Daimon. Still need to finish off Death. Blighted bugger is high-tailing it awfully fast this time around. Must have had a team that was dealing decent damage...bastard wouldn't stay put. Come on! It's not like you aren't coming back in a few days. Posted Image

PSN Chase needs to be leveled up though. Honestly, I wish I could give her BBI stuff, but I can't.

But PSN Chase is stubborn. She'll heal you up right in front of Daimon. She'll ****** of a Gorecylops for fun. She'll do everything in her power to drive Solaria nuts.

Solaria (Gransys)
Made Arisen, Solaria is known to be flirty, but in reality is a cunning assassin with the skills that come with. A bit arrogant and concieted, she considers herself superior to other by level of skill, and will use any chance she was has to put other in there place. She does have a soft spot for her loyal pawn though. She loves looking at her reflection, but also has some issues with the way she looks.

Is there a free preview download for the extra hairstyles? I should check.

I was wondering why Nova had a different haircut in my game, then it hit me. That's Olra's hair.

My Arisen must be a sexy thing, cause in BBI run 2 she got so messed up the horde of red gagoyles things. She's very tramatuized. Chase of course is laughing.

Female Chase is evil.

So I've been rapidly progressing through the main quest.  Mainly due to the fact the secondary missions on this game so far have been a bit of a chore. Go get this herb, go find 60 war bugles and 60 skulls...  There are a few good ones like taking on three Chimeras. Still some really lacked any thought which is a shame.

Additionally I get the feeling this game is really based around the male protagonist (or more accurately gamer).  I just found some silk lingerie and a silver chestplate... which is a shiny bra ^_^

Prior to that I did the quest a couple of nights ago where I met the Duke's bride.  I mean she seemed nice enough, a little flirty with me... Next thing I know I meet her maid in the garden and two minutes later im in her bedchamber in some sort of illicit scandal...

:innocent: :P

Anyway I totally digressed from my question.  Im level 45, is this a good level to be taking on the last mission any time soon.  I ask because I bumped into a Drake (who im assuming is a tad weaker then a dragon) who just tore me apart. (a simple none spoilery answer here would be great, I just really don't want to find 60 war bugles)

Oh and thanks for using my pawn Carcharoth, that mask you gifted her looks great  B)

That sort of quest is best completed as you progress through the game rather than being pursued intentionaly.
Just think of it as a job. You go kill some things, get paid and learn something about life along the way.

There is some npc dialouge that suggests the same thing. Talk to the prostitutes in Gran Soren.

There is a follow up quest late in the game, based on the popular cookbook/screenplay as read by Briana, that has a "happy ending." My arisen is seven feet tall. Made that scene a bit more awkward than usual.

If you're headed to the great wall for the first time, go ahead and deal with what's there. You'll get one last chance to prepare yourself for the Tainted Mountain. Bring ice magic. Leave the fire at home.

Oh and thanks for using my pawn Carcharoth, that mask you gifted her looks great  B)

No problem. It's what I'm here for. If you need anything else, don't hesitate to ask.

There are a few instances I felt that was the case, but  I've never really cared that much about "intended audiences". A few seconds of smacking Aelinore around can work wonders.

This quest will score you 40 bugles. Then you can pick up the rest in the towers in Gran Soren, you only need 50.

As for the best level to take on "The Final Battle", I'd just say head to the last area, and if the mooks are eating you up, run away and level up.

edit: partial

And incoming pic spam. Just have to upload them. The Super Bowl freed up Xbox live, methinks.

A few Living Armor shots, Depicting how various pawns/arisen react when faced with them.

Carcharoth bravely faces it down -
Posted Image

Alynna just gets right up in its face, which is rather stupid considering she can get killed if it sneezes -
Posted Image

Shinon runs the other way and is mortally wounded -
Posted Image

And I don't know what's going on here but Shinon doesn't look impressed

I may or may not have spent far too much time trying to get a decent shot of a wraith possession. When I finally do, Shinon wrecks it by doing... whatever it is he's doing back there.
