Arya: Briana's master! Oh... hello. Th-Thank you for traveling with us. My master and I are honored...
Dai: *off camera* Oh Em Gee, Arya, is there anyone you DON'T have a crush on?

Posted Image
Dai: Is that Shinon? He looks funny.
Arya: It's only a little facial hair, Master. *smile*
Dai: I don't think it's him.
Arya: It's him. He's already asked to touch my hair.
Dai: Ohh Okay. It's him.

(Personally, I love Shinon's new debonair look :D)

AND...! Now it's time to finally get some of those lady armors DF'ed!  Should've done this ages ago.

p.s. Thanks for the abyssinal set, Carcharoth!!!!! I'm sorry I keep switching accounts on you guys :pinched: You gave Arya a green dress or some sort, but I had switched to Seel... now I switched back to Arya, and she and Dai have the awesome abyssinal set, which I think would look super cool on Rohan. Hmm. I might have to ask to use someone as a pack mule LOL

I may or may not have spent far too much time trying to get a decent shot of a wraith possession. When I finally do, Shinon wrecks it by doing... whatever it is he's doing back there.

Ahhh, perhaps some impromptu airborn Riverdance-ing? :lol:

Prior to that I did the quest a couple of nights ago where I met the Duke's bride.  I mean she seemed nice enough

:blink::?:unsure::sick:

Yeah I totally understand that. I said she was "nice" to be polite. Plus she hasn't said anything to get under my skin yet.  Although she did declare here love for me and in a instant make me query my Arisens sexuality... which was kind of akward.

She does seem the embodiment of the sterotypical naive and cliched portrayal of a princess in distress. I think Ive seen her in games before ;)

This quest will score you 40 bugles. Then you can pick up the rest in the towers in Gran Soren, you only need 50.

Yeah...  I didn't realise there was 50 bugles quest when I got this one. I was in the quarry having a hard time with some ogres around when suddenly I become over encumbered.  When I saw I was carrying 50 "pointless" bugles I just ditched them all. Especially since my party was already average or heavy with stuff I thought was more useful.

:P

A bit silly of me now I realised, but at the same time Im pretty adament that a lot of these secondary quests are just really badly planned. Ahhh well,  they are optional, guess I will go find another Griffon!

Two, random, friend requests in the past couple of days from people looking to rent my pawn. Why wasn't Briana this popular with randoms?

Folks may joke about Briana's extraordinary kinship with monsters, but I'm sure everyone would prefer getting a friendly lift from a strigoi than a barb to the gut. When her master saw how easily she tamed the creature, he gave it a try himself.

Posted Image
"C'mon, you! Fly! Rise! Ascend! Argh, what's the command that Briana uses?"
Nova: She is the command.

He snuck out of the Gran Soren Inn one night to go to the barber shop. He spent thousands of gold until he found a look he liked. Alynna has since requested that Shinon be locked in his room during the night so he won't deplete all their funds.

I'm pretty sure I did the same with a pile of skulls I suddenly found myself in possession of in the catacombs. At least skulls aren't hard to accumulate. But having a pile of bugles dropped on you in the middle of a dungeon is rather assy on the game's part. Most people would ditch them unless they're on the way out.

Briana was trending on the Pawn Community site a few days ago. People saw her sexy healing spring shot and had to get them some of that.

Could be the name? Arya gets rented more than Seel, and I only get friend requests when I'm using Arya. And honestly I think Seel is a better pawn.

I actually burst out laughing when I saw him in the Rift. I had plans to rent Nova, but when I saw him... I couldn't resist LOL For some reason in that screenshot though he looks really handsome and debonair. Well worth the thousands of gold, I'm sure ;p

An obscure Tolkien reference is preferable to a nice, irish name?

You know, I really should have gotten an Xbox, so I could use all of this threads pawns. Sadly my Xbox was broken badly.

I wish I could tear the whole of it asunder sometimes, you know?

In other news:
Also I'm trying to learn how to stream, so I'm practicing by trying to complete Dragon Age Origins. I actually remade my Arisen in the game, I'm going to make another save so I can remake my pawn. Awesome times.
Posted Image
Solaria is my Arisen from Dragon's Dogma, so it Dragon's Dogma related. HAhaa!

Back to Dragons Dogma. Chase got killed by a grim goblin. Solaria mocked her constantly afterwards.

How funny. :D My gang were JUST here. Exact same group, too, well, just swap out Briana for Arya. One fake Arisen for another!

Dai: But I don't WANT to have the contest of who can throw your Arisen the farthest. He looks super heavy.

The laziest, whiny-butt of an Arisen makes a terrible pawn.

It's like the game knows things.

I'm not quite sure why I did this in the first place, I know I had a reason when I was in the CC, but it escapes me now.

Look at that face. :crying:

I'm sure her right hand is in a completely innocent, non-molesty place.

Posted Image
This is a little creepy though.

And Shinon gives us the finger as he puts Dai in a headlock.

Ohhh...boy. You cray-cray pooples. Next "hooky" day, I am doing nothing but playing DD.

I miss these silly pawns....and my "identity crisis" Arisen. XD (ya know what I'm talkin' 'bout, Shep!)

@Apophis4321 - I still plan on buying Dark Arisen for the PS3. I just got weighed down with other things (and had a really large unexpected bill....never good for the extra-curricular activities. ;) )

I love the expression on her face. Innocence and purity. Not a perverted bone in her body. "I could fix that," thought every red-blooded male within twenty miles. I'm sure she's just checking whether or not Dai has been exercising enough.

Holy moly. Lyncean Sight. It's my new favorite thing. I'd like to try getting shots of pawns like this, but it'd be hard - they'd have to be off screen when I go into the menu, otherwise I think they'd be transparent.

It's also extremely easy to get your entire party killed while trying to get closeups of Death.

Posted Image

Posted Image

You don't even have to be aiming at anything - three hellhounds were charging at me in Duskmoon Tower, I activated Lyncean SIght, while looking at the ground, and hit start, then looked around.

Posted Image

The camera isn't facing inward, it's facing outward, so there's crazy potential for shots all around you. Try it out! All you have to do is have the skill equipped, the game does all the rest for you!

^This is awesome! Nice find, Shep. I have used Lyncean Sight before, but it has been ages. And it was before I started taking photo ops.

Pawns do tend to go pixely even when they're far away and behind you, but it's still possible to get one clear. Shinon is just starting to fade here, but I loved his expression too much to scrap the shot.
Posted Image

NPCs, however, don't fade if you're close enough to them. Sure, they hate having a wacko waving a bow around near them, but they don't disappear.
