I couldn't play tonight as we had a rather nasty thunderstorm here. It just stopped a little while ago, and now I'm wide awake at 4:17 AM.

I found out the other day I already had a dummy gamertag on my xbox, one I'd created to use a free gold trial insert, to see if my horrible internet could handle online play.(I forget why I couldn't use it on my main). I'd forgotten about it as I always sign in automatically.

I think the dummy's name is Wizardy5, named after a typo in an age-old gaming magazine and my go-to name for when I'm playing a spellflinger and am not at all serious about it. Don't send FRs yet until I make sure that's the exact name.

Yes, after jumping through about 18 hoops to get my account reactivated (I forgot my password, then there were security codes and alternate e-mails... ugh, just let me game, it's an alt I'll probably never use after DD) Wizardy5 is up and running. I'll send out FRs tonight.

I neglected to boot up vanilla DD first, then kicked myself for not getting my eternal ferrystone. It's okay, though.

My question is this: should I create another facebook account? Can I use both gamertags with one FB account? I might just create another one just to be safe. I know it can connect to the FB that's attached to my other gamertag, but... I dunno, knowing me, something will happen and lock me out of uploading screenies on my main. I haven't shared any shots on my new game yet.

Dammit! lol! I too forgot about loading the original DD first, to get the Eternal Ferrystone.  

Was wondering about the FB account thing also. I wish so badly we could connect it some other way (or better, load to HD or even USB memory stick). I suspect, that if we link it to our current FB accounts, that it will just dump in the same album.....maybe(?)

I played until I got my new pawn made, last night. I ended up going female Arisen and male pawn, again. I like sharing man-candy.  Arisen's name is Ari, and pawn is Castor. (yes, yes....I reuse names all the frickin' time.)
I was having tons of fun being squishy again. I almost was killed by the group of goblins that hang out on the beach at night. I have both my pawn and myself setup as fighter. Kinda just want to get that one out of the way, and get the boost in health that you get from being under level 10.

I sent out a handful of friend requests, but I may have got some of the gamertag names wrong. woops. I will log in as flattestflea this afternoon, and write down my list. Resend where I goofed up.

Oh, and a forewarning on M!Chase at the moment. He looks ridiculous. I was bored. (this was before I set up the new account/new game, and the picture sharing was down....of course.)

So my plan is to play most often with pawns around my same level....for now. But, I will grab one of the higher ranked pawns for some of the tasks I just want to get done quickly (for example, I just rented Arya for the "training" segment in the Encampment. It's boring, and I just wanted to get it done quickly. lol! So thank you Arya. Of course, I really don't have anything to gift people right now, so please forgive the "scrag of beast". XD Of course, I always give full marks though.

I am going to log on later with my other account, and rent my new pawn, since I would like to gift him a few items (nothing super fancy, just stuff I don't want to spend a bunch of money yet on). Also want to add to his RC count. I like getting stupid things from Jonathan at the Encampment (funky pigments and Harry Potter glasses for all!). Since Castor is pretty useless right now, no one needs to feel obliged to rent him. If anyone does decide to rent him, you are welcome just to snag him and send him back with a wakestone or crafting material. S'all good.

Seriously, this is fun playing the beginning stuff with some difficulty. Okay, maybe difficulty isn't exactly right, since none of the beasties are unfamiliar to me. But still....I'm having a ball.

I'm regretting my choice of hairstyle for Castor. Guess a trip to the Gran Soren Barber shop is in short order. XD

@mnomaha - I sent Val something yesterday. Did you go pick up your goodies from fighting the online Ur-Dragon?

@Carcharoth - still kicking myself about that....was even tempted to start over so I can get dem goodies. Bah!

Once I get through the main story, and head to BBI, then anyone wanting to go "hogwild" on gifts, is cool with me. Heh! (again, don't feel you need/have to though...all for fun. ). In the meantime, if you want to gift him clothes or weapons, just make it something sort of level appropriate. Like the fine Cassardi items enhanced to three stars, or a bastard sword (when applicable), as some examples. I will probably have Ulee and Chase give Castor a few higher ranked items, that he can use later on....I'll just hold off a tad. Restrain myself. LOL!

Thanks in advance! Mostly, I am looking forward to getting him "ranked" and nabbing some Rift Crystals.

Castor should be uploaded to the rift now. Duh.....hadn't slept yet.

Eventually she drops him... and what should happen... but Castor leaps into the air and catches Dai gently into his arms!!!! And is all "I've got you" in his manly voice.... OMG OMG OMG

I've NEVER seen a pawn do that -- EVER! LOL Maybe he's taking on Guardian inclinations? It was very swoon-worthy. I'm so pissed I couldn't snap a shot!!!

She has a pawn; he is level 4 and his name is Zihark  He's gorgeous!

You guys are making me want to start over. But I'm still struggling to get to infinity. And then I've got Seel and Rohan. It'll be some time!
