@motomoto - Thank you for the gifts! I like how Castor looks; gladiator style is suiting him. Interestingly enough, I guess the East Coast servers are quicker right now, than the West Coast. The stuff I sent home with Castor, has yet to come in. Only motomoto is showing as having rented Cas, and I released Cas much earlier. Ah well.

@Shepen - Just picked up Zihark. I like his look, and I would say he is different from Shin. (and not just the blue hair. ) I read ya on the stamina. I am going through mushrooms like an entire stadium of Dead Heads. Fantastic shot of the new fellas. I am hoping come evening, I can get some decent shots in.

Doing lots of busy work. I may switch out the mage pawn I have, for Chase, just to keep the experience points down. Once this vocation is maxed, I will do the Hydra bit.....taking it slower than usual, cuz. (or "cos")

I assumed we'd be in pieces within minutes, but Rook, I'm tellin' ya.

I was going to switch Zihark to Ranger at level 10 but I don't have the DP for it. I forgot you actually have to keep an eye on that, and not buy augments and skills willy-nilly.

Yeah, I'm sinking back into my mage arisen and ranger pawn, but dagnabbit, I loves them. I might stick with sorcerer longer than I did last time, and if Zihark stays a strider until level 100, he won't be as magically inept as Shinon ended up being.

So many choices...

Yeah, it's gotta be Rook because I'm in BBI, kinda playing mama lion with the new pups... standing back and letting them fight the monsters for experience, then running in to revive them when needed. I basically run back and forth between Zihark and Castor, baaaack and forth, baaack and forth.

 Even Arya got in the red! I think at one point she grabbed Dai by the front of his shirt and said, "LOOK. Either you help or you're on your own from here on out because I have HAD it with these two!"

@Shepenwepet and @motomoto - AH-HAHAHA!! That be the bestest thing evar. XD The "plodder" here, is following the storyline and grinding; "trying" to set up for a specific build, but it is getting boring. So I realized, I was being an idiot. This time is actually the PERFECT time to take the Mega-Pawns out with Ari and Castor. Simply put; the experience points go down, when you rent pawns so far beyond your station. But, you will still get a good percentage of DP per kill. So I can grind the two-bits (goblins, wolves, bandits, saurian....), and start ranking quicker than leveling.

Still can't figure out the servers though....I have yet to see the update from when Ulee and Chase rented Castor and sent him back. That was around noon today. Starting to wonder if it just got lost in the shuffle. Very sad if it did. I gave Castor some well suited items and a wakestone. *grumble*

Um...yeah. In theory, the above I stated is "sort of" true. However, one can over do it. I took both Arya and Chase for some quests/grinding, and goblins were basically down to +30 experience with both of them in the party. That is a little TOO low. Going to switch things up.....

I got Talia, and there is a friend request pending, once Shell (Val's mama) puts her pencil down and plays a little hooky.

Right now, I have Arya, and a random Mage pawn of the same level as Castor and Ari. I haven't taken this party out for a grind yet, but will shortly. See if I hit that sweet spot. (It did work rather well with Shep's new lad, Chase and Castor, so I am betting this group should work also. I might switch Chase to Mage for a bit, and set him only to cast Ingel, Frazil, Brontide, and Anodyne (maybe an Affinity as well). Then I will grab Shep's boy and Chase for tomorrow.

LOL! And maybe I am over-thinking all of it.  We'll see how long this "build dedication" will last. *snooze* hehe.

Going to try and gift some things to both Castor and Zihark, using Ulee/Chase (plus....Chase needs a wardrobe change, in the worst way. XD).

Still haven't been able to get a picture of the new lackeys.....hope to, today (yeah, I know....if wishes were horses.... ).

lol....yup. That is what has been happening with me on the PS3. Most of the pawns I have friended, are lower level, so I am leveling up right-quick.

Wewt! The server gods finally gave me the gifts/ranking from Ulee/Chase. Castor now has a better weapon set, that isn't OPed, but better than the starting trash. Also gave him some new digs. They are not that different from what @motomoto gave, but I had to get him the Chainmail Bracers. Yup.....it was a must.

One of the first chests Zihark opened in BBI was a set of chainmail bracers. I think he's wearing them now. If I can help it, he won't be going down that road, though.

I have Zihark in Ulee's party; I'll gift him a ferrystone once I get back to Ulee/Chase (which should be later this afternoon).

I really wish that blasted "share" button worked. I have had a couple of very nice shots.....even sat trying to get them to go through for at least 5 mins. on one of them, and almost 10 on the last one. I just don't have the patience to go any longer than that. Surprised I even lasted that long.

I'm back peoples. Any for my first return in to the DD thread in the past few days, I was thinking a new bio for my altered pawn Lunaria! Since she's not really Artemis anymore, I thought what the heck.

Bio: Lunaria

Lunaria was changed at night. That's why she was different. At least that's what Solaria suspected.

Lunaria  was... odd. When she was Artemis, she wore armor correctly, being pragmatic to the extreme. When she changed however, Lunaria gained a love of shopping for clothes and armor, switching them out for whichever looked 'nice' on her. Solaria was many thing, warrior, Arisen, defeater of Daimon, but she was not a good judge of clothing. Lunaria would prefer to keep her armor at the strongest, but her clothing to a minumum, making wallking through the streets of Gran Soren a problem.

What made her  really odd was her bubbly personality, where she was somewhat 'slow on the uptake' but was cheerful and rellatively innocent.  She seemed quite human to many, and even to Solaria.

And then there where.. the courting issues. A beautiful pawn that acted human and wore pratically no clothing at points? Solaria actually had to drive off men and woman from trying to go after her pawn. 

However, Lunaria was many things, but she wasn't weak. Able to pick up a twohanded weapon with ease, and destroying her enemies through blunt force.

Sometimes however, Solaria could sense a sadness, a loneliness that the other pawns found disturbing. Lunaria would look up at night sky, as if looking for something.

When asked, she would smile fakely and say: "Just looking for the moon silly." But when they would leave, she would sigh sadly and look for up into dark night that she was created in.

Apologies for the pair of you who have used Talia the past couple of nights.  You may have noticed her awkwardly swinging a giant two handed mace around which she can't use properly


Only two more Discipline levels and I can switch her again   Plus I found a ring which gives added discipline so woohoo!


Anyway Death has decided not to fade away and stick around now.  Basically I've just run every time, had a brief fight with him which I just noped and ran away after I ended up using two wakestones in 45 seconds :innocent:

Still all the other bosses Im handling fine,  I just saved my game standing in front of the giant door in the Fallen City.  Didn't expect to find that there. My pawns seem kind of scared to go forward so might hang back and level some more before I progress.  Already levelled from 60 to 80 since I arrived and I can really tell the difference when I enter the first areas now.

Oh and if anyone has about four Siren Tailfins to spare that be great as a gift   Honestly I must have killed 15 of these things. Even when I target the tail the game says no


Also im really enjoying the sound track to Bitterblack, does anyone know if its an available download? That be pretty chill out while im at work and needing 10 minutes

Those things never drop anymore, do they? I'm on my alt right now, but I know I have at least one of both patagium and tailfin on my main. If you have the gold, you can just forge them at the Black Cat if someone sends you one.

I pity the pawns I hire - I play for what feels like hours with them, but those hours are spent in the FB menu. They go home with practically nothing in the RC department.

I will, however, stop looking for photos tonight. Time to get stuff done.

Edit: Shinon currently doesn't have a bow, I must have forgotten to re-equip him after my last Ur-Dragon fight.
