I actually just Bought DD:DA(new) should be coming in a few days.will see what the hype is all about got it for 20 bucks

 

It's a steal for that price, especially if you haven't played the vanilla game.

I finally got a shot I could use with the garm, but not after ages of this.

He still never came in that room, he just stood outside and paced.

En route to Daimon I ended up defeating three Fire Drakes and a Thunderwyvern. Only one item dragonforged :'( I then had to stock up on curatives and wakestones only to encounter Frosty Wyverns (or something like that) and just had to go to bed!

How do you defeat them? I am a magick archer and they weren't taking much damage from me.

BTW Castor is cute, but who is Zihark?

Zihark (ツイハーク, Tsuihāku) is a playable character in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. He was a citizen of Daein during The Mad King's War. He was first encountered as a recruitable enemy in Path of Radiance, and later returned in Chapter 1-5 of Radiant Dawn, fighting against the Begnion Occupational Army.

 

He's also Shepenwepet's alt pawn.

Immolation, baby! Ignite yourself, latch onto that heart, and go to town!

 

Slower method: I forget what they're called, but the flaming, bursting arrows. Fire away repeatedly; as the pawns wail on the dragon, the flaming arrows explode.

I. DIED.  I actually read this before bed last night and started cracking up so hard.  The sad thing is Dai really did do it. The second I gave Zihark a potion to combat the petrification, the poor guy shattered into a million pieces. "Where's my Bloodred Crystal?!" shouted Dai. Arya: "Master, you are heartless...."

 

Glad you finally got the garm shot. Hmm sounds like our intrepid team will be facing something nasty. That's a beautiful shot of Mr. Puffy-throat. And I have to say that Shinon looks nice with lovely blue eyes lol

First must say....fantastic sets of pictures from both moto (curious....sorry, still not used to the name change. I'll get there, I promise. lol!) and Shepen! Love the gargoyle/Zi/Dai, the Arya face in Castor's bum, Shinon's "wet look" (purrr), and the Toady-saurian. Awesome.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHEPENWEPET!! (I will throw a party in your honor...DD style. Which, you sort of already started with your Arisen + party-hat. lol!)

For now, here are a few shots from last night. Was trudging through some of the main quests, so not a lot of interesting shots. Plus, I am playing as a Sorcerer right now (trying to beef up the magick attack and magick defense numbers a bit). I also grabbed a few with Ulee and co.

Is it just me, or does Castor look weary of whatever Zi and Ulee are whispering about....


Castor is taking things waaaaay to personally. yeesh.

I took the boys with Ulee and Chase, to meet the Gazer. Ulee decided that she was getting bored trying to have these two low level imps, try and whittle it down, so she took it upon herself to jump in the Gazer's mouth. She made short work of it, but got "stuck" in some weird contortion as it "melted".



@Newschmoo - btw, moto's advice is good, and you can always bring an extra pair of Sapfire daggers, and jump on his stomach. Thousand Kiss him to death (also add a few Demon and Conqueror Periapts, and you will make short work of him. Don't forget, you can always just try and run through the Fallen City, skipping the fights there, if you are just wanting to fight Daimon.

Thanks for the advice re the Frost wyrms.  I shall try those tactics tonight.

 

And Zihark ... AHA!  I must confess to never having played Fire Emblem, even though I still have my old Gameboy Advance and a Wii.  I will send a FR and take Castor and Zihark for a spin in BBI  !

I took the boys with Ulee and Chase, to meet the Gazer. Ulee decided that she was getting bored trying to have these two low level imps, try and whittle it down, so she took it upon herself to jump in the Gazer's mouth. She made short work of it, but got "stuck" in some weird contortion as it "melted".

 

 

Hmm I took those boys to visit the Gazer yesterday (or was it the day before??) so they SHOULD have had at least an inkling as to what they were doing  I confess I take a little pride in each time one of them says he's learned something new. Such good boys! *pat pat*

Been a while since I had some screenshots to post. Got a few semi-sorta-not-completely-terrible ones. Now just to see if I can figure out how to post them on the new forum.

 

Sometimes you just have to spinning heel kick a goblin in the face.

 

Aurelio is playing Rambo with exploding arrows (well, fire booned arrows). The saurian on the other hand, seems to be playing Willem Dafoe from Platoon (if you look carefully, but maybe that's just my imagination)

 

Aha, this time I was not fooled by the golem pretending to be a rock.

 

This fight lasted a looooong time. Mostly it was prolonged by Laniel's refusal to cast fire boon on my weapons, the ranger's repeated failures to avoid being picked up by the golem and the warrior running back and forth trying to catch the rampaging rock monster. I'm claiming sole victory for my Arisen.

 

Inappropriate touching, so inappropriate. Eli the ranger has issues and Aphrodite the warrior is just an enabler. Laniel, as usual, is oblivious.

 

I've now got Lncynean sight. First attempt at using it for a screenshot. Well, at least Laniel isn't facing away from the screen like usual.

Ooh, and we can add comments if we don't do it as we upload to FB in the first place. This is good, as I don't have a keypad for my controller and it takes me ages to plunk out words for each screenie, so I rarely do.

Picked up Alynna last night. Ari wanted to start things off slow, so they just sat around a lava-lamp for a bit.



Got bored with staring at pretty colors, so Alynna decided to take a dip after dropping her boyfriend off at Bloodwater Beach.


Anxious to get back to the real party, Ari tried to hustle everyone outta Conqueror's Sanctuary. (well, the damn woods, right out side the Sanctuary....blanking on the name. >.<)


Finally make it to the party (tried to make it at the Fat Bastards manor, since the guy owes Ari, but the cheapskate backed out.)


That's....when things started to get weird. I think Alynna and Castor got into a bag of mushrooms Brianna had left behind, because we started getting some rather disturbing "touching".


....and Alynna was all like, "Barnaby who??". And Zi was like, "*facepalm* What da hell...".



Then Castor felt bad for ignoring Ari, and tried to dance with her. Ari don't dance, fool!


Between the 'funny' shrooms, and too much ale, the party ended with Ari hauling Alynna's butt back to the Inn.

(....hehehe.....I swear Zi is "smirking" in that picture. He was stone-cold sober, after all.)

@Shepen - still going to grab Alynninon today with Ulee, to give you (fingers crossed) a little gifty.

@Carcharoth - Castor is very grateful for the lovely weapons, but I gots to ask?!?!?! How the hell did you gift him the Pleached Limbs bow?? I tried to give him that with Ulee/Chase, and it told me I couldn't?? Is it just level specific, or are you just that damn special?

@Big Evil - Nice to see some new pics! I love your little mage. I will be getting on the PS3 this weekend, to play some of my Castor/Chase play through. Will pick her up for a while.
