Speaking of wyrmking rings, I think someone (Shep?) said they had a ring for Seel but I was playing Arya at the time so couldn't take it. Is it still available? Pretty please with cherries on top?

@Anzer - You know, after all that talk on Inclinations, I plumb forgot to look at what Rozalin's were. lol!

To check on your Pawns Inclinations though, simple go into the Start/Pause menu. Click on Status. Hit the right bumper to see Rozalin's Status. Scroll down to "Profile". This is where you will find the Primary and Secondary inclination.

Don't be shy renting F!Chase. She may be higher level, but she is free. And chatty! No need to give her anything special. Seriously, you can gift her a rock, and give her full marks, and that is plenty good.

I forgot to check too!  I gave F!Chase a Conqueror's Periapt, because I know you like those and I have a few in stock! Since dealing with Daimon (with Arthur/Thomas) I have become a bit obsessed with Periapts!  

 

@Anzer - I wasn't able to gift any inclination potions - it wouldn't let me  .  It annoys me that the game is selective as to what you can gift (or for that matter what you can't equip on support pawns, like rarified equipment - that sucks!)

 

I can check your pawn a little later and let you know her inclinations.  Rhys has been switched to a new vocation (was a Strider which he maxed out on, now a Ranger), so he is a low level for that.  I had to tweak his facial hair a bit, because he was starting to remind me of a 70s Scandinavian porn actor!

If you're using forgeries, they don't work. Only genuine rings give the cast time reduction. The only use for a forgery is to fool Aldous so you can keep the real one.

 

Oh, no worries, I know.

 

I have a couple of forgeries in storage for speedruns, and I gave forgeries 4 times in a row to get 4 the working rings.

@Jeremiah - Yep....Grace Period just gives others who were fighting the online Ur a chance to also make "the killing blow", and get the loot. Mostly, we just exploit Grace for the fun (loot), of it.

Just went to my FB album....didn't realize I had so many pictures that I had yet to download. I also caught some shots of the PS3 Players, but those will have to wait (ummm......my office desk "ate" my thumbdrive. Okay fine....it's lost in a pile of junk.) For now, here is a sampling of shots:

If anyone is feeling generous, would they consider gifting Castor an Arisen Bond, or a forgery of Love-In-the-Rough? I have opted to forgo anything to do with Aelinore (....cuz, cos). I thought I had an extra Arisen Bond with Ulee, but apparently not.

Not a big thing, if no one has either or.

 One of the few things I don't think I'd be able to gift... I never do the duchess's quest so never get the chance to make an extra Arisen's Bond. And I've only played through the game twice (on this playthrough, only once with Dai/Arya!) and I'm pretty sure I've always given my Arisen's Bond away. Hence why Rohan has two boyfriends currently; we just pretend Ser Max isn't hanging out in his house, well, basically we just never go back to the house

Awww, Poor "no comment" Max. He seemed like he would have been an affable choice, but all he ever says is, "With all that I am, I thank you." And no extra bonus, like you would get, if you chose Reynard, Madeleine or Fat Ba__, I mean Fornival. Ulee has Max and Selene sitting at home twiddling their thumbs, and Selene already sits in Ari's house. I just want a "sensible" roommate (okay.....Selene can "brew you ale"). Madeleine isn't as desirable since she can end up right next door anyway (in the Inn in Cassardis), so I would prefer Reynard or Fornival (Enhance capabilities from Reynard, and Periapts from Fornival.....mmmmmm, periapts. I think I have an addiction.)

How dare Ulee tear Fournival away from his wife and brat child?! SCANDAL! Seriously, though, Fournival is NG+-/* Alynna's front runner right now. At least I hope he is. I effluvium-ed everyone I could think of. I'm sure Barnaby will understand. Or not care. He's cool like that.

Oh gosh, Reynard  I know you guys are English voices adherents, but you have GOT to listen to Reynard's Japanese voice. And it makes the romance soooo sweet! (Cause you're not having to plug your ears up every time he talks); his voice is very very cute in Japanese, and you can pay more attention to his story and dialogue.

 

His ending dialogue (after he's in your hut) is very, very romantic!

As for Ulee...no, no, no, my dear! It is that harlot Ari, that is thinking of getting her mits on good ole Fornie. I have wagged my daggers at a few people (who hadn't gone pink or chimey yet...just to be on the safe side), but I still need to liquid effluvium Miss "We grew up together, so we must be soulmates, cos!" Quinta. She IS pink and chimey. This is the ONLY time I had planned on doing her later quests (to get those Superpower Flowers).

@Curious - I actually like Reynard's voice; it has "attitude". They all make me giggle anyway, so....just give me periapts and enhancements, dammit!! *grabby, greedy, paws*

I just switched Castor to Sorcerer, and am running him with Val and Zihark. He is kinda beastly as a Sorcerer....me gusta! Just got Meteor Shot with Ari (switched her to Ranger). Yay! More fun snapshots again.

On my second playthrough, in the vanilla version, I got the blacksmith from Gransys as the Bonded character.

 

It was horrible... The only times I could enhance things in Gransys were the rare occasions that Raynard was there. I had, I think, two portcrystals, and in the vanilla version there wasn't one near Cassardis, so I literally had to run from Gransys to Cassardis and back, every time I wanted to enhance anything.

 

I'm shuddering a little, remembering it...

@Jeremiah - Yeah.....don't want Caxton anywhere near Cassardis. LOL! I generally flash my blades at him every other time I buy from him, just to be on the safe side.

Hmmmm...I just thought of something; that no good son-ofa-beach Montebank, might be a fine choice as well. How many times do we end up having to get crafting materials forged from him, because the beasties in BBI are being stingy with the "good stuff". Tromping it to Gran Soren everytime, is a bit of a pain. Hmmmm.....

@coldwetnose @newschmoo - Thanks for taking Rozalin around Gran Soren, she's looking and acting like a champ now! I had a chance to go into the status menu (lol obvious), turns out she's an Acquisitor and Medicant. So I'll need to go to Jonathan and buy a Medicant potion to change Rozalin's primary to Medicant, or would I buy a Challenger potion to change her primary to Challenger? Not quite 100% on which one the potions set it to. 

So I took Rhys with me into the Everfall and he was making undead cry. Since it was the first time I'd been in there, I wasn't sure what all to do, so I ended up spending about 15 minutes killing the endless spawning tentacles like a nub. Finally realized what to do and bravely ran away. 

I'm going to grab Chase for a while now and see if she can't smite things verily for me.

I did the same thing, the first time I went into the Everfall. Kept fighting those damn tentacles. Heh! If you want Roz to be a Medicant/Challenger, then use one Medicant Elixir first, then take one Challenger Elixir. Since Medicant is already the Secondary, you only need to take one Medicant Elixir, to make it the Primary Inclination. When you feel a bit more comfortable with the game, you might consider doing something like Utilitarian/Challenger (or Challenger/Utilitarian). As I said in my previous post, even if you don't have Medicant set as one of your pawns inclinations, if the Heal spell is assigned to them, they will still use it. They will just prioritize a bit differently. (They won't necessarily start conjuring Anodyne for every scrape and scratch. )

Rhys is great. He is a fast learner, and quite hardy for his level. Chase is set as a Ranger right now, but don't be afraid to take two archers around with you (especially with Chase's Inclinations). They often get great use out of those daggers of theirs. And they are wicked fast with them. Great damagers.
